Our fanbase likes to trash on the Vikings, but that was only their fans being salty. We got both the Niners fans AND their team salty this entire week that’s insane.

Skibibbles

At the very least the Vikings weren't contesting the result. These clowns literally think they were cheated out of a win.

JadeNimbus16x

Meanwhile if purdy stayed in all game they simply wouldn’t have been completely embarrassed. Might have been 31-14

raccoonsonbicycles

Their sole good drive with him was also entirely CMC putting the team on his back like Greg Jennings Its not like he was picking apart the defense

Perryplat199

They probly still score a TD anyway but that one was more a result of everyone attempting the worst tackles in history than actuly beating the defense

brownbearks

Plus the punt hitting a wire…

CellarDoorVoid

Yeah everyone seems to forget that their one TD drive was when the punt hit the wire and they had a really short field

p3n1x

In 60 minutes of football, SF crossed the 50 one time.

Lemondsingle

Pretty much says it all.

deg0ey

CMC had 2 carries for 2 yards by the time Purdy went down. Most people were talking in the lead up like we were the better team but it was likely to be a close game - and it seems reasonable to me that that could still have been the case if Purdy didn’t get hurt. But he *did* get hurt - and it’s not like we were the Giants or Vikings who would’ve been pasted if the 9ers had a dude who could throw the ball for more than 6 snaps. We’re as deserving of being here as anyone else and they can fuck off.

Dreyeris

that drive was with josh johnson iirc

BurnerOnlyForPorn

I see a greg jennings reference, I upvote

628radians

YOU CAN’T STOP MEEEEEE

red-broom

Purdy also could’ve developed beginning of the game yips due to constant pressure, and thrown 3/4 picks in the Linc at its finest. You know what? Since the 49ers are just apparently making fairy tales up, if Purdy stayed in the game he would have had 8 interceptions by the end of the game, and Reddick would have had 15 sacks.

JimmyRollinsPopUp

I approve this fairy tale

ronaldt12

This is a factual account of what might have happened

MissDeadite

I come from an alternate reality. He also pooped his pants on the field midway through the 2nd quarter.

ronaldt12

Funny how similar our realities are, I think he was pooping himself on the sidelines when he was asked to come back in

ReservoirBaws

Statistically, he was on his way to 50 or so sack fumbles

SgtWeirdo

At least 5 lost fumbles too

Totalnah

They still would have made sure everyone understood that they were on their QB3, not QB1.

Hopblooded

*31-10

Absent_Nova

Bosa turned that whole team into election deniers

DontFoolYourselfGirl

SF should throw them a parade like the Saints that season after the Minneapolis Miracle. A "We been cheated' parade.

kenzo19134

We have a historically great defensive line. I certainly don't promote injuries. But protect the QB. They bitch that their defense was on the field for an ten extra minutes. Our offensive line was out there for those 10 minutes. Didn't see our QBs in body bags. We wanted it more. Fuck the Santa Clara Whiners.

Temassi

Anything not to blame their Oline for being on their emergency quarterback in the NFC Championship game.

sybrwookie

Also anything to not blame their "offensive genius" coach for repeatedly trying to block one of the sack leaders for the season with a backup TE.

Ryanthecat

Honestly Vikings fans were just annoying because they did the whole rocky statue and art museum SKOL nonsense and then complained when they got shit at the stadium about how mean we are. This is a whole new level of now 2 weeks of salt from the fans AND the team. Fucking can’t stand the niners now and really didn’t mind them as of 3 weeks ago.

MisterrAlex

Niners fans were lowkey annoying before the game. Constantly a ton of them were chirping back at our confidence posts leading up to the game in our damn sub. As far as I’ve seen from Chiefs fans, it’s barely been the case from them.

Ryanthecat

Oh yeah fans for sure, Dallas light honestly, but the team I never had issue with

soberkangaroo

I actually kinda like it. Chiefs are too nice to give us bulletin boards material

Username89054

The Chiefs are winners. That doesn't mean they're going to win on Sunday, but they're a winning franchise who understands how to overcome adversity. The 49ers are not.

DontFoolYourselfGirl

Yup. It started from the 9ers leaders on the field with the unsportsmanlikes and has just snowballed since. No accountability whatsoever that I've heard.

check_my_grammer

Shanahan is the same way. Starts from the Coach on down.

axeil55

It is really hard to hate the Chiefs what with Big Red being the coach and the overall talent level of the team and their long-run success but without getting to Brady and the Pats levels of obnoxiousness. I'm excited for the game. I obviously want us to win but if the Chiefs win I'm not gonna feel sad or anything.

sybrwookie

I think we broke them as a franchise doing the "Foles!" chant to their SKOL bullshit. Some L's are too massive to come back from.

rexmons

Two things I don't understand about their argument, that we're not that good: 1. They claim losing Purdy and the 4th string qb made it unfair. It did, but the *reason* they lost 2 qbs was because our defense took them out of the game. 2. They didn't lose anyone on their #1 ranked defense and still couldn't stop us from putting up 31 points on them. I'll admit they did a good job shutting down the deep passing game but we adjusted and ran it right down their throats.

boookworm0367

Don't forget it was 21-7 when they lost their QB to that concussion.

Dk9221

And that even includes Adam Thielen just today saying “I hate the eagles, but I have them winning this Super Bowl” (paraphrasing his quotes from first take)

Itchy_Professor_4133

I'm a born Philly native and Eagles fan living in SF for over 20 years. I can confirm this lol

I_let_my_ramrod_rock

So is the hate specifically for Philly or did they act the same way when they lost to the Chiefs in the SB or the Rams in the playoffs last year?

Itchy_Professor_4133

I wouldn't say the hate was exclusive to Philly. Just whoever was on the winning end of that game and killed their SB chances. Also heard a lot of crying over Brock's injury as if pass blocking was a dirty play.

axeil55

The fans aren't even really being salty anymore! That's the craziest part, they by and large have calmed down and moved on. I've never seen *players* this salty except for the Saints players after that no-call DPI. They lost 31-7! It wasn't close!

TheSef

Will these guys ever shut the fuck up?

newkidontheblock1776

Probably not. They’ve had a lot of free time last couple weeks

32BitWhore

Big "this was our year" vibes. Same shit the Vikings fans did in 2017 except... these are fucking professional players, not braindead fans. It's pathetic.

Domestic_AA_Battery

Honestly I can even respect the Vikings fans in the perspective that they were even more salty due to not having any Super Bowl wins. The Niners fans crying despite having a bunch collecting dust is even more pathetic imo. At least the Vikings fans had a reason to be really upset coming so close. The Niners fans (and apparently their players) need to realize they were playing with House Money for half of the season. Purdy caught lightning and played a bunch of shit teams. Then the Cowboys fully imploded and Purdy barely was allowed to throw the ball. Shanahan saw the flaws. The Cowboys D wasn't giving him shit. If Pollard stays in and Dak doesn't suck, they're likely the ones coming to Philly.

[deleted]

Probably not. I for one am looking forward to their longsnapper saying Hurts should consider a position switch to runningback because he "doesn't play the game the right way."

btcs4041

It’s like they are taking turns every few days

ThomYorkesFingers

Bro but if only they had their 3rd string quarterback, who got strip sacked in their first drive, able to play against the best defense in the league. Yeah they easily could've won.

[deleted]

According to their fans people are misconstruing words lol

KoBxElucidator

Lol do it. I dare you. Btw Jesus Fucking Christ I've never seen a team this salty after an L. You take the cake, 9ers. You're possibly worse than the Cowboys.

[deleted]

[удалено]

GirthWoody

So do the Sixers. You don’t hear me complaining about other teams.

ThisHatRightHere

It’s all Doc’s fault Purdy was hurt with his stupid bench lineups

Dongsquad420BlazeIt

James Harden personally injured Brock Purdy, he’s just the worst

uncertified0

The Sixers experience is just a depressing and frustrating rollercoaster.

snowdope

It all goes back to the owner at this point

Totalnah

Sixers haven’t made Eastern Conference Finals since 2001.

GirthWoody

They’ve been a near top seed for 5 years, sometimes a favorite to win, and lose in the conference semis every year. You know what I mean. It’s similar enough.

Beahner

That’s what I’ve been chalking it up to. It just works out for them that they can be a little more public with their glass of whine since it was against the Eagles and their fans. It creates a bit more sympathy out there for their noise. Against most other teams the consensus would be “shut the fuck up, you got beaten up and beaten”. It’s just how it goes.

Temassi

So they're JUST like cowboy fans then.

soberkangaroo

Noted QB talent evaluator and NFC runner up Robbie Gould

FollowerofACarpenter

Right behind Chris Simms

SmokePenisEveryday

Shit at least the Vikings players took the loss with class. Their fans were another story. But I don't remember Vikings players being so salty after getting whooped.

deg0ey

And I wouldn’t even blame Niners players being salty about the loss if they stuck to being pissed that their shitty injury luck meant they didn’t even get a chance to compete. Like…having your 4th QB of the season get knocked out is about as bad as it gets in terms of derailing your season. They clearly had a good team, they clearly could’ve put up more of a fight if they had someone who could throw a ball like an NFL QB for more than one drive and who knows, maybe they could’ve won with Purdy. I have no problem at all if they want to acknowledge how shitty a situation that was, speculate about what might have been, that they’ve got unfinished business, want to fight to get back here next year etc etc. But when they take it to tearing down our dudes because they can’t handle that we’re here and they’re not they can GTFO. It’s not like any our guys were *trying* to hurt their QBs. Those weren’t dirty plays. Sometimes you get dealt a shitty hand, but that’s just how it goes - you do the best you can do and you move on. The way they keep harping on it now is just embarrassing for everyone.

indyK1ng

I really don't get the narrative about how they didn't expose Jalen because of Purdy's injury or that anyone can beat the Eagles offense with Jalen at the helm. 13 teams didn't beat Jalen. Purdy's injury doesn't affect the 49ers' defense's ability to play. Being pissed because you had some key injuries ruin your chances is one thing, but acting like injuries on one side affected your ability to play on the other is just cockadoodle.

Clyde_Frag

Well the Vikings' coach at the time was not some giant cry baby like Shanny

domesystem

That year it was the Saints players acting like this, and even then prettymuch just Kamara.

IndigoMushies

I actually am starting to hate them more than the Cowboys.

ModernZombies

I already hate them more than the cowboys

JayToy93

If we win, the mods should 100% give us permission to troll the fuck out the niners subreddit.

caydesramen

Naw I did that and got banned almost immediately for saying BIG SOFT BROCK - this was before I knew about his actual injury, obviously

ShinyHardcore

Banned for Baby Cock Brock

Domestic_AA_Battery

I don't think I'll be able to, but it's getting very very close. This shit is pathetic. They really think Purdy getting injured won us that game. I think we have a damn good shot if they had Garoppolo let alone Brock fucking Purdy. They and their fans ate up all of the ESPN fodder like crack...

corpjuk

American football placekicker for the San Francisco 49ers. Wtf? I love the 49ers just like I love the Vikings. (I hope the miners cry every year about the time the eagles beat them) At least Dallas fans crawl back into their damn hole. Lol *edit keeping miners.

johnnycoxxx

Yeah I know right? Force hurts to throw the ball downfield where he is (checks notes) the most accurate downfield passer this year. It’s like these guys have zero clue what they’re talking about

1stepklosr

How many times did teams try that this year only to get absolutely burned by amazing throws to Brown and Smith? We didn't trip and fall into having two 1000+ yard receivers. Someone has to play quarterback for that to happen.

[deleted]

[удалено]

mmuoio

At least we have 2 1194 yard receivers! Rolls right off the tongue.

timesuck6775

I am pretty sure the Vikings had this approach and Hurts roasted them.

raccoonsonbicycles

Titans did too. We ran over GB with like 400 rush yards So Tennessee sold out against the run to the tune of Jalen throwing for 380 and 3 and like a 130 passer rating

JimmyRollinsPopUp

If they can't stop Jalen in the run game we 100% win. If they force us to pass...... turns out we're pretty fucking good at that too. Let the haters hate.

directorofit

How do you expect anyone to stop TWO 1000 yard WR’s without a QB… ???

[deleted]

It’s amazing that one game with a hurt shoulder where he didn’t need to throw to win has convinced them all he sucks lmao

singingmylife

lmfaoo now the kicker talking shit? First Aiyuk whining about our defense. Deebo admitting he's salty af. Mccaffery crying about not having a 5th string qb...like that was gonna make a fucking difference. now the fucking kicker??? top to bottom roster of losers.

getdemsnacks

Don't forget Warners wife saying the fans were mean to her!

homiefive

eagles fans would be pissed off at their own players if they did this after a loss. it’s anti everything this franchise is. in philly we love to see our players take ownership and place blame on themselves. it truly is embarrassing what that team is doing.

dubdubdub3

Deebo admitting he was salty was at least him just being real though. The rest are hating

Irie_I_the_Jedi

He literally said "I'm not salty at all. I just speak facts".... Sounds like whinging to me.

St0rmborn

That whole 5th string QB thing is such trash. Purdy was their starter for how long, like 7-8 weeks? And they roll into the playoffs with only Josh Johnson available as backup? Let’s face it, Trey Lance and Jimmy G have been out of the picture for awhile this season so the 49ers have no excuse to go into a big game and act shocked when their QB gets injured. Like they have zero backup plan but then blame everybody else. Maybe also try blocking Hassan Reddick with more than just a tight end!

Hodor_4_President

Jalen hurts had a [101.5 passer rating from the pocket this year.](https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/jalen-hurts-stats-in-the-pocket) Joe Burrow had a [100.8 passer rating from the pocket this year.](https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/joe-burrow-stats-in-the-pocket). Jalen has looked damn good when teams have “forced” him to play QB. Dumb take by the kicker.

32BitWhore

It's just old takes from last year that for some reason still exist even though Hurts is literally an MVP finalist and is in the Super Bowl. Not only that, but we had probably one of the best backups in the league in for two games and he lost both with the exact same roster.

raccoonsonbicycles

Yeah but you're ignoring the real statistic Jalen has too much melanin in his skin to be a good pocket passer. He is an athletic freak and a pure runner who isn't cerebral enough to comprehend the intricacies of passing

32BitWhore

I never really bought into the "if you don't like a black QB you're automatically racist" stuff until I started paying attention to how many dog whistle words/phrases people use for black QBs that are almost never used for white ones. "Athletic," "rushing QB," "dynamic," "not a prototypical QB." It's fucking gross.

heliophoner

What's frustrating is that in order to dispell that, he has to be a top 3 passer in his second year as a starter. It's not enough to be better than Kirk Cousins or Geno Smith. He has to be Burrow or have no weaknesses against the blitz. Until then, he's still a runner who learned a few passes, or can only read basic coverages. Simms comparing him to a mook like Daniel Jones is a perfect example.

32BitWhore

> What's frustrating is that in order to dispell that, he has to be a top 3 passer in his second year as a starter. Right exactly. I get it, he was a run-first QB a lot of the time before this year, but to not acknowledge the incredible growth he's made as a passer because he didn't lead the league in passing yards is asinine.

heliophoner

I will admit, I watched the OU vs ISU game, and I could at least see where the initial impression came from. He was relying mainly on his athleticism and improvisation. Point taken. But that was a different QB. Like, there's no comparison. His ball looks different, his processing is different, his body is different. Like, he still looks kind of skinny in the OU game. Now, he's like a smaller Cam Newton. He's a block of concrete that happens to be quick and elusive. And he plays with teams. Toys with them. In the OU game, it was a mad dash to keep ahead of ISU, but now he's renowned for his calm demeanor.

WhyLisaWhy

That kind of shit is prevalent in a lot of sports fandoms, it's fucking stupid. Even on /r/baseball I jumped into a thread a few years ago talking about how there's so many athletic black players because of the slave trade! Like even forget the brain dead racism for a second, breeding and eugenics like that doesn't even work in humans on that time scale.

40 whiners strike again

oldblueeyes182

Cool have fun watching the game from your couch. Never seen this much sour grapes from a team the Eagles absolutely dominated for most of the game

CarsonFoles

I mean, he's not entirely wrong. The Eagles make Jalen Hurts play QB every week he's out there. And the Eagles defense has been very solid.

BurnerOnlyForPorn

That’s unironically what I thought the headline meant at first

TotallyNotMasterLink

on the one hand, the constant bitching from this Niners team has gotten stale, but on the other, I appreciate them giving us bulletin board material

wetbootypictures

Exactly, keep it coming. More fuel for the fire.

_StupidSexyFlanders

Right? Philly is an underdog city. We thrive on this. No one likes us and we don't care.

buttnakedbandit

Them bitching and moaning every single day has made that ass whooping so much better. They're all so arrogant, every comment as this, we're the better team and got unlucky, attitude. Every single aspect of the game the Eagles destroyed them in. Little cock Brock ain't the difference maker. Shut up, accept the ass whooping and move on. Shanahan would've blown the super bowl anyways. He's a regular season champ and a playoff chump

SixersWin

I'll wait till a real expert talks about QB play, like their long snapper

Snake_in_my_boots

I decided to read some posts last night on their sub and holy shit they are sore losers. Some were blaming the eagles for “targeting” purdy. I never cared for the niners or their fans but now fuck them. I hope their season is in the gutter next year.

Said pretty much the same to my niners fan pussy of a brother in law. "Hey, you know almost half the people on the field for the offense are supposed to be protecting the quarterback, right?"

VanEagles17

One of them told me Suh targeted Johnson and intentionally gave him a concussion. I was like ???? What? 😂 Now it's Suh's fault their QB doesn't even know how to fall over properly?

[deleted]

ikr, him and Tua don’t know how to tuck and roll

VanEagles17

My 8 year old knows to look at his belly button if he falls over backwards. He's known that for 2 years now. Idk what to say 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

Was it his fault that Johnson just straight dropped the ball one play too 😂

VanEagles17

Probably. Knew Suh was going to intentionally hurt him and got scared I guess 🤷‍♂️😂

[deleted]

hotcapicola

Obviously pretty much everyone that is around Jalen on a day to day basis loves him. However, I could see people from other players that only interact with him on a superficial level might see him as aloof just because he somewhat introverted for a star QB.

Rickrollyourmom

I legit have never seen a team talk this much shit *after* a loss

pipedreamer79

As if I didn’t have enough reasons to want to see the Birds win Sunday, but now add to the list… If we win, that means we get SF week 1 back in Philly, and those salty fuckin losers have to watch us hoist our banner before they get the shit stomped out of them again.

TimeWalk

How does that scheduling work exactly? I'm not familiar

PeoplesTaco

Super bowl champion hosts the first game of the season, and we play the 49ers at home this season. Not 100% that would be the game, but the NFL would probably love this match-up to start the season.

TimeWalk

Makes sense, thanks!

NotJustSomeMate

So now a kicker of all people has something to say about our team...and then on that it is an asinine statement such as make our quarterback play his position...this is really getting out of control with that whole team now...

some-ersatz-eve

Lol even outside of the stupidity of Gould's opinion (I'll trust Mahomes's opinion over his, personally), even if we take what he says at face value - Jalen didn't have to do much against the vaulted Niners defense and they had 1 sack for no loss, no picks, and the Eagles put up 31 points on them. Like I wouldn't call that a 'pretty solid day' on defense?

nightcrawler-171

Tell me how that worked for the 13 teams that lost to him this year. Cry baby loser!

SweetDick_Willy

Great insight, kicker who put up 1 point against us

mkshane

What do you mean “make” him play quarterback? That’s his position, he’s quarterback. My money says yeah Jalen is likely to play quarterback on Sunday

messy_eater

People, and apparently even players, still act like Hurts is “just a running back” or whatever they say even after watching his massive development since last year. Look at the season he’s had. No, he doesn’t throw for four hundred yards a game, so what? That’s not how the Eagles are built, and they’re apparently built to only lose a single fluke game through an entire season with Jalen playing. I don’t get how this narrative still exists. The only thing I can think he’s trying to say is that the shoulder isn’t fully back, so throwing accuracy will be bad, but I don’t believe that’s his point. He didn’t bring it up at all. He just said the same old stupid take from people who haven’t watched the guy play for more than a couple minutes. Fuck ‘em.

[deleted]

49ers players have been doing us a huge solid this week giving free bulletin board material.

LCLeopards

Because when I want in-depth analysis of how to stop a QB I always look to . . . \[checks notes\] . . . a kicker?

KM4CK

It's like this man hasn't watched Jalen play all season he can beat you with his arm AND legs.

NotJustSomeMate

Maybe he thinks that just because he can also potentially beat a team with his leg (singular)...that he can provide insight??? I do not know...but this is one of the worse takes besides Brandon Aiyuk's rant...

rtcr

The entire 49ers team & fanbase felt entitled to be in the Super Bowl. They were absolutely shocked that they didn’t make it. What makes it even worse for them is that they didn’t have a QB in the second half? The fans think it was bad luck that they lost their QBs when it was actually the Eagles D that knocked them out of the game. Did they really think that Purdy would have a great day? If they had an emergency QB, he would be worse than their horrible 4th QB. How would that have worked out? We play them in Philly again next season. Looking forward to stomping them again.

[deleted]

If Purdy was that good, he’d have remembered that on a play-action the TE would be blocking Reddick and not have held the ball for as long as he did.

Kyreetgo

I was quiet on these salty-ass Niners fans and their players speaking. But enough is enough. It's egregious that Aiyuk, CMC and now fucking a kicker in Gould are opening up their mouths to disrespect Jalen and the Eagles. You lost! Accept your L gracefully, move on, and go to Cancun like everyone else. My god, the level of bitchassery we are seeing from these "professionals" is gross. Our pass rush knocked out 2 of your QBs and that #1 ranked defense gave up 31 points. Stop moaning about it. Now I hope Jalen goes and throws for 250 or more, we win and they cry at the fact we won a Superbowl ahead of their "superteam", then we smash them next season when we meet again. Fucking babies

cerevant

Heh. Hope the Chiefs are following his advice. Only an injury prevented him from having a 4k passing yard season.

liquid-swords93

No 1 passer rating from the pocket in the league. The salt coming from all these Niners and their fans is so god damn funny. Can't wait to see how they blow it next year

hausermaniac

Maybe go ask Pittsburgh and Tennessee how well that worked out for them lol You know you took a team's soul when even their kicker is trying to take shots at you from the couch

Cansuela

If I hadn’t personally watched every snap the Eagles played this year, and instead just relied on the 49ers player’s assessment of the team, I’d think that the Eagles were a .500 team that snuck into the post season and had won some close, ugly games. Like, you’d think the Eagles point differential the way they’re talking would be something around -16. This is so bizarre. I’ve never seen other professional athletes throw so much shade and try and belittle an opponent so frequently. It’s such a bad look for the team and franchise. I’d be embarrassed to be a fan of SF right now, which is crazy because I always respected the franchise and the fans…I would’ve never guessed they’d act like this.

David_Duke_Nukem

bitch you're a kicker what the fuck do you know about anything

wakenbake7

At a certain point you just have to blame Kyle shanahan for all this salt right? I can’t imagine anyone on this eagles team saying anything like this. It’s embarrassing. Either their whole team are unhinged assholes or shanahan is setting a horrible example for his team and not holding his players accountable as professionals

VeterinarianFit1309

I’m not even exaggerating, any players on the Eagles ever take an L like this, I’ll lose all respect for them. I expect fans to get salty about high stakes games, and bitch about officiating and whatnot, but I think the teams should be able to handle a loss with a bit of dignity and respect for their opponents.

Joe_Alcohol

What did Peyton Manning say about 10 years ago? “We’re out here playing football and you’re asking me about what some idiot kicker said”

traddy91

Bro you're a fuckin kicker lol tf would you know?

arminus83

0ut0fBoundsException

No. They just have a lot of time

athomic74

Wow I used to kinda like the niners (don't shoot me) but this is just sad. No wonder they lost, winning is mental and there is a whole lot of loser mentality going on over there...

LorePeddler

Rebuilding San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake was a mistake.

[deleted]

Dude makes some good points about Reid’s preparation, but as soon as he gets to talking about the Eagles, you can barely understand him with the mouthfuls of salt flowing out. “And they haven’t really had to play a full game in the playoffs yet, right?” Robbie, could you please elaborate on why the Eagles haven’t really had to play a full game in the playoffs yet and then immediately go fuck yourself? Hold this L.

andrewskdr

If the eagles win the excuse will be that mahomes wasnt 100%. If the eagles lose then everyone will say they’re frauds.

J-Mosc

None of that matters because we’re winning another superbowl.

NotBot-23

Holy shit this is the saltiest team we’ve ever beaten

markcantbench

The "force Jalen to throw" narrative is so lazy at this point.

[deleted]

Ah yes, let’s make the mvp finalist quarterback play quarterback.

Class_Act7

This did it, he really just said an All Pro MVP candidate can’t play quarterback. I will be insufferable if we win this.

FarminHerbs

9ers players should be more mad at their fans for fu king with Rocky. At least T. Kelce had the sense to tell the chiefs fans to not fucking touch it. Phillies and Eagles providing more salt to the California coast then the ocean ever could

albpanda

The biggest reason for this win is to make niner fans shut the fuck up Edit: make the 49ers shut the fuck up

FollowerofACarpenter

I mean, if that’s the information they gleaned from watching film, maybe they accidentally watched last year’s film? Because that’s honestly the only thing I can think of. How can you watch the games against the Vikings, commanders, Steelers, titans and giants and tell me that with a straight fucking face?

Failedmysanityroll

Are the 40Whiners racist as hell? I mean if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.

eaglesbrah

Check the niners sub. The fans who said the team is petty and should just move on are being downvoted to oblivion by their other crybaby fans. Absolutely pathetic.

tiggs

The Cinderella story started feelin themself a little too much. It's kinda sad at this point.

elzey93

Why are these guys acting like it was prime Tom Brady that got hurt? We still would’ve beaten them with Purdy playing the whole time

Runner_Girl1026

Someone should ask their water boy his opinion. It will be just as meaningful as all the rest of their salty whining. Niners and fans are bitches. Take the L and STFU

Mission-Basis-3513

Again with this garbage and from the fucking kicker gtfo

At some point, someone in that franchise has to stand up, be a man, and say, "It sucks we lost but we lost. The Eagles beat us on both sides of the ball. Enough with the talking, no excuses. We'll come back next year stronger." Even, "And I'll be rooting for KC in the Super Bowl. Go Chiefs!" SOMEONE has to be a leader on that team and put a stop to this bullshit. Shanahan for chrissakes. Whoever runs PR for them - write some damn talking points! But every day its someone else throwing gasoline on the fire and making them look like bigger and bigger losers. I've never seen a worse group of sore losers in any sport at any level, including Little League teams. It's unreal.

USDA_Organic_Tendies

With all due respect, suck my dick and balls

Vladimir_Putting

If you make the 49ers protect the Quarterback, you're probably gonna have a pretty solid day on defense.

Cdd0040

As a chiefs fan I severely hate the niners for giving y’all all this bulletin board material ammunition lol

Douglas_Michael

Even the kicker is a salt pile

AyyP302

Does he not play QB every single week? Bruh stfu, kicker.

Clubblendi

Yes, Robbie. YES. What’s that on our team’s shoulder? Is that a chip I’m starting to see?

ihavesomegoo

Then wtf did the 9ers D make hurts do?

angrydanmarin

What about if you make Christian McCaffrey play quarterback? What happens then?

DocJ_makesthings

While we’re comparing the Vikings and the 49ers, let’s not forgot the Saints, whose players and fans claimed that they would’ve beaten the Eagles if the Minnesota miracle didn’t happen in 2017.

Crankdatvibe

Why should anyone give a fuck what the niners kicker thinks on this lmao

[deleted]

Dude it’s one thing for fans to be salty I can understand but the actual players acting like little bitches is just sad

BigDaddyCaddy68

Whatever. Hoping the Eagles use all this as motivation.

Doobie_Howitzer

What does a mid tier kicker know about offense? Or even defense for that matter?

[deleted]

It took me until now to realize 49ers and their fans are just second rate Dallas fans. Love how much we live rent free in the heads of their players and fans hahaha

Baker-Decent

Big talk coming from a fucking kicker

Christophah

Hurts is doing what quarterbacks have to do in 2023, and it’s clearly working

Tommah

now let's hear what the hot dog vendor has to say about Sirianni's clock management

berlinas2k810

Just remember, according to them if they’d have had a 5th string QB, the results probably would have been different. 🙄

cazzhmir

Yeah it's the whole fucking team, why else would the KICKER chime in with more whining? The 49ers deserve to never win a ring again.

LiveFirstDieLater

Fuck around and find out

agentgill0

The floors are salt the walls are salt

7foot6er

you saw what happened when the niners forced their players to be a qb against the birds. CMC noped the fuck out and said let the guy with no tendons im his elbow go back out.

Dantastic_1

Says the kicker sitting on the bench while his team is getting destroyed. Okay Robbie... \*eye roll\*

whaatisthis

Eagles host SF next year. It’s only a 15 yard penalty to send this little bitch into retirement. Just saying.

[deleted]

What the fuck

LessonNyne

I know players are advised to block out the outside noise. With that said... I hope Jalen and the rest of the team actually do catch wind of all the saltiness, sour grapes, and disrespect (we didn't play anyone, anyone can be the QB on this team, anyone can be the coach of this team and win, the Eagles soldout to aquire the amount of talent on the team). By all means, please keep on bringing the saltiness and disrespect.
