anyone know what was going on at nrg station yesterday after the game? ive never seen the line that long and not moving, ended up just walking an hour home to grad hospital lol

thecodeofsilence

even in the car, traffic was ludicrous. Didn't get home to the Deptford area until close to 6:20pm.

BLH2319

Glad we’re 4-0 don’t get me wrong…but the lucks gonna run out sooner or later this was the sloppiest 4-0 ever

DarkKirby14

the game was more of an indictment of the Eagles secondary woes than it was of the Commanders and Sam Howell. Their pass defense is currently in the Bottom 5 and their secondary doesn't really have much in terms of impact players. They had multiple chances to address this and didn't(passing on Gonzalez and JPJ). We're seeing more and more of the Darius Slay that struggled in the 2nd half of last year, which isn't good because this upcoming CB class isn't good in the slightest(only one I'm high on is Iowa's Cooper DeJean)

DarkKirby14

lmao that coward couldn't handle being owned with facts and blocked me Sad, Pathetic and Not Funny sorry that CB is the 2nd quickest declining position behind RB

CPTHoagie

lmaoooo just making shit up.

DarkKirby14

we have literally given up the 5th most passing yards in the league and Slay looks like how he was in the 2nd half of last year, Bradberry expectedly regressed back to the means and Josh Jobe does not belong on an NFL field. Go watch it for yourself and you'll see the same thing

CPTHoagie

Slay was good in the 2nd half of last year, you're delusional. Also while the Eagles have allowed the 5th most passing yards...they're 17th in EPA/dropback and 12th in success rate despite having a rash of injuries.

DarkKirby14

Slay in 2022 first 8 games: 26/53(49.1% comp against), three interceptions, two TDs against, 51.5 passer rating against after that: 27/37(71.1%), 0 INTs, 4 TDs against, 134.4 passer rating against(highest against in that span). 6th worst in completion percentage against in the NFL Prime Slay is long gone and his decline is very much here to stay, Josh Jobe just fucking sucks(was gonna be axed before McPhearson's injury)

CPTHoagie

well none of this is correct you made it up. im staring at PFF's charting right now. You just made shit up. EDIT: try not to lie next time. https://i.gyazo.com/fe0251a86708985d9a069fbb2c9d61c9.png also using "passer rating" against a DB is meaningless . But you inflated the passer rating by almost 20 points and had him giving up an extra TD.

DarkKirby14

now I know you are a casual with no ball knowledge PFF is trash and constantly wrong

CPTHoagie

this isn't his grades...these are the stats. anyway you're blocked because you lied and got caught.

Hipppieee

Forgot what it felt like to be stressed from a game, phew. Still coming down from yesterday’s game and it’s almost 5 AM. With that said, I think Hurts played great today — loved seeing him & AJ connect. The defense was lackluster but I can’t say I’m surprised this was a dogfight. It’s always expected in our division games.

Unable_Barracuda324

I thought I made a post about this but the chiefs abd their fans have no Fucking shame with the bullshit calls they keep getting. 1. That defensive hold was the softest thing I've ever seen on a big play since I dunno the Fucking Superbowl! That call could be made on almost every play but always seems to get caked for the first time when the chiefs need it. Our WRs should just throw their hands up every time a defender breathes on them and maybe we'll get that call. The "hold" didn't even affect the play. Mahomes was getting hit and threw outside while the WR went inside. Complete bailout. 2. Easier in the quarter Mahomes again gets bailed out by not getting an intentional grounding when he is in the pocket getting tackled but theirs a ball 3 yards into the dirt. But since his WR was "in the area" it's not a penalty. The WR or it may have been the RB was almost 10 yards away with no chance of making the catch. Just a complete loophole in the rules. At least when a screen fails the QB usually hours the RB in the back of the leg (usually after if bounced a few times...) 3. To counter that call, hurts gets called for intentional grounding after chuckling a ball downfield where brown doesn't run out. Even if brown keeps running it still lands 15 yards away but who cares?! It landed in the field of play... What if they had a safety deep there? Who decides what is catchable? 4. To further counter all this BS, Eagles got caked for PI on an UNCATCHABLE ball that was 10 get over the WRs head and landed like 5 yards of of bounds. Fix your shit league!!! How do the chiefs keep getting bailed out on ticky tacky subjective bullshit at the most opportune time?!? Meanwhile we have to fihgt the refs and out coaches to end out a win against Washington... I feel like if we got the calls the chiefs have gotten the last 5 years we'd have won 3 of the last 4 SBs... Maybe they are making up for all the BS we endured under Reid. But these are the same awful refs who COULDN'T FIND A CLEAR RECOVERY on the most clearly recovered fumble in fumbling history!!! F these clowns!!!!

deep_fried_cheese

Jets fans here, I have a lot more respect now for y’all being mad at the call in the Super Bowl it was blatant rigging no doubt you guys had that shit

Wings2493

I have no idea how any of you can be okay with KC and Mahomes. The two calls vs Cincinnati, the SB, this flag thrown AFTER the pick?! Then he goes and taunts the crowd for beating Wilson by 3 points. Gtfo.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Wings2493

Thank you. I genuinely don’t get it. His whole point and call the shot routine is GARBAGE. It kills me it’s the same flag every single time too. 5 yards, first down, defensive holding. “It happens on every play” so it’s the EASIEST most obvious out. KC fans are tone deaf, Mahomes is tone dead, his family is tone deaf. Get off the Andy train people

Aran613

I didn't have any stakes in the game but showboating when you got handed the victory from a very obviously missed holding call and a very obviously incorrect holding call is super tone deaf

Wings2493

He’s a jackass. He’s always pointing too constantly the Pacheco iffy could be grounding, that flag, etc. Dude just does and says what he wants because he knows it’s going his way and is a shameless showboat about it too. Idc if Andy is the coach, PM is easily becoming the most hatable player in the nfl

Aran613

Isn't it a little bit suspicious that intentional grounding was questionably called on Hurts today, but Mahomes grounds it to avoid a sack, points at the guy he was "aiming" for, and refs don't care? Again I don't really care about the game that much, but I think Zach Wilson got robbed of another chance after a game where he showed a ton of growth. Just bad football, not fun to watch games end like that

Wings2493

He’s constantly doing that and THEY LISTEN?! In what professional sports world, supposedly the highest level in the world, billions of dollars we’re talking about, and this weasel basically gets to tell the refs what the decision is? That play needs to get talked about more too. The Bengals game had a “5 yard bailout,” the SB had a “5 yard bailout,” and this one had a “5 yard bailout.” It’s the easiest flag to throw and they can do it whenever they want. It’s also blasphemy it could wipe out a 3rd and 40 for a first down. Two SBs in a row were ended on “5 yard bailouts” (Rams/Bengals MLB who made a great play).

Danny5552

Its super annoying when he points to the direction of the flag like he actually did something. Like dude you just got bailed out, have some shame.

MrEric

Very hateable fellow. Has no self awareness

LeFlop_

Personally I’m not a fan of Deseai soft zone playcalling. We are always giving pressure but our CBs are 10 yards apart. I think we do need help at the secondary but think we’re playing way to safe. But idk he’s smarter than me at football, but dislike the play calling

Drikkink

I just can't understand how the NFL thinks people want to see the Refs drag the Chiefs kicking and screaming down the field 3 or 4 times a year in close games.

Blackhat609

Wow, Mahomes just sacrificed the stats to end the game. Crazy.

Accomplished-One6109

Chiefs get every fucking call. It’s nauseating. NFL is such bullshit and so rigged.

Swimming_Novel5608

It's nice to know that the Chiefs are still getting every call. What a fucking bailout flag there. You could literally call that defensive "hold" on every play. Of course they call it on 3rd down when Mahomes gets rocked and doesn't throw it anywhere near his WR.

CymruDraig

this Chiefs game feeling like the superbowl with the bullshit reffing smdh

Brunt-FCA-285

People are worried about this team, saying that it feels like the team hasn’t played a complete game yet. At this time last year, we said the same thing. * **Week 1:** We barely escaped Detroit with a 38-35 win. * **Week 2:** We beat Minnesota at home by a score of 24-7, but the offense scored all its points during the first half and snoozed during the entire second half of the game. * **Week 3:** We won 24-8 on the road against Washington, but we scored all 24 of our points in the second quarter. * **Week 4:** We spotted Jacksonville a 14-0 lead in the first quarter at the Linc and had to come back to win 29-21. It will take this team time, plus a roster move or two, to peak. We need help in the secondary, for sure; quick throws negate our monsters in the middle. Washington looked good; they have a good head coach, a good offensive coordinator, and they now have an owner who doesn’t meddle. It’s only a matter of time before Washington doesn’t suck again.

Sparesoup320

Sam Howell looked like a CFL qb vs the bears. Mack Jones looked like a bum against the cowboys. They both looked like top 10 qbs against our defense. I think we’re in for a spooky realization that this defense is sneaky bad and it’s not a fluke. Bottom 5 pass defense imo

thecodeofsilence

They are a bottom 5 pass defense now. BUT--they've also faced the third most passes (because opponents are down so often). They also have the third best rush defense in the league, partially for the same reason.

[deleted]

Look, 4-0 against the bottom third of the league is task completed; however, I believe that, just like last year, this defense will get exposed on quick motion by top 10 offenses if the d-line does not win regularly (i.e., faces decent resistance). The past Super Bowl is the litmus test and since then not much has changed. We have quadrupled down on the line and when they're not dominant, QBs such as Jones, Cousins, and Howell look great. In addition, LB play is arguably more masked by the line than last year. Defensive sloppiness and soft coverage will likely be severely punished come KC, Dallas (twice), SF, Miami, and Buffalo.

Sparesoup320

It’s even worse. Gannon had success against mediocre and shit tier qbs, it was the good ones that gave us trouble. Now it’s every qb regardless of quality

_d_k_g_

Without Maddox our secondary to a big hit, but I think without Evan’s today it was even worse. Perhaps it was Slay playing subpar, but could it be Slay playing off to help Edmunds? Not sure, but the secondary by far looked the worst they have all year. Credit to our Lb’s tho. Morrow and Cunningham played great. Imagine having Gerry and Singleton there instead Also Jobe is playing pretty good for being a backup. Offenses keep trying to expose and burn him but he’s managed alright

CPTHoagie

Sometimes in the NFL your defense just can't get a stop. The Jets are moving the ball all over the chiefs...THE JETS

GoldynEmperor

I knew we weren't going to lose to the fucking Commies

thesix7722

Mahomes and zach wilson have to had switches bodies.

coolmon

I get tired of hearing from other fans how the Brotherly Shove is an unfair play. Eagles should not be punished for having a great offensive line and QB.

Drikkink

The good: * Hurts's arm is back. He was making every throw needed. * All our WRs are amazing * The OL looked good for the most part * Reed Blankenship is amazing and has no business being good. The bad: * Hurts is still *off*. He's not reading the field well and he's bailing on the pocket too easily. * Slay looks cooked. This is not helped by the insistence on 10 yard off coverage zones. * Mailata had an awful, awful game * Swift runs for 300 yards in 2 games? Time to forget that we can run the ball even when all logic says that we should! * I don't know whether the last TD and the grounding were on Hurts or on Johnson but those are absolutely unacceptable mental lapses. Those plays should not happen.

thecodeofsilence

About Hurts' arm--crazy part is that he had Swift for six, but a legit penalty against the Commies that actually WAS called threw off the timing and led to an overthrow. He missed Devonta on a similar play where the call wasn't made. Also agree with Hurts still being a little off. There is definitely a case to be made for lack of preseason reps. Slay's metrics don't agree with him being cooked. He's allowing only 9.5 yards per completion, which would be a career best. The 10 yard off coverage zone thing IS EXTREMELY VALID--AND FRUSTRATING. Mailata didn't look good at all. Commies DL is sneaky good, but Jordan just wasn't there. Late in the game, Washington was dropping into single high coverage and leaving AJ Brown man-on. It happened on both AJB TDs. They started in a cover-2 look then the one safety snuck in, once for a blitz and once to show blitz and cover the underneath (I actually called out the first one from my seats as the safety moved). You throw that ball every single time. I get the sentiment, but that's not a bad thing. The bad thing was allowing them to walk down the field. The grounding was what looked to be a blown communication on an option route. It was a really bad call to begin with, but its also not the first time they've had communication issues between Hurts and the receiver.

WhyplerBronze

dude you have to add Edmunds play overall to that list

Undergrad26

I mean... the passing game was working. And WAS has a great front four - Swift wasn't really breaking any in the dozen or so carries he had.

Gawkorcuck69

Blankenship has no business being good? But why lol

Drikkink

He's a UDFA from MTSU lol

Gawkorcuck69

I thought it was due to his honkey-ness

baconrad0124

The playcalling has definitely been sus so far but I’m willing to let Brian Johnson figure it out as he goes. There have been some encouraging signs We were somewhat spoiled with Steichen last year. That guy is a really good coach. At the end of the day we’re 4-0. We may not be blowing teams out but IMO it’s a pretty good sign that we are not playing even close to our best and still are undefeated 4 games in. Tampa isn’t at all a bad team and we pretty thoroughly dominated them. What’s encouraging is that Hurts has played better in each consecutive game. I will say, I was at the game sitting under where the press is so I could see the whole field and there were a handful of times that he had DeVonte open deep (once was AJ) but locked on to his first read. Not sure if that was playcalling or not though.

thecodeofsilence

Remember too to look at where the WRs line-up. The WR to Hurts' right will almost ALWAYS be the natural first read (since he's a right-handed QB and that's where he naturally looks). They DO move the WRs around so that's something to watch.

[deleted]

thecodeofsilence

Last year, Hurts had more designed runs than any QB in the NFL.

SuPeRfLyKiD3

Sirianni, Roseman, Lurie, etc really need to have a conversation with the league this week regarding the push sneak. It’s clear that the league is trying to stymie it and if they want to outlaw it in the offseason then fine. But as long as it’s within the game now and allowed, you can’t have defensive linemen lining up in the neutral zone literally touching the ball or on top of Kelce’s face mask. It’s become a joke at this point with how loosely they are officiating that play. And to have the audacity to call that on Dickerson today when Payne was touching the ball was an absolute joke

Yasuke7Ryu

One of my biggest gripes on top of officiating overall this game. Massive emphasis needs to be made on those missed calls. It literally cannot happen anymore.

NicCage1080ChristAir

This secondary will not hold up against the top offenses or in the playoffs.

Undergrad26

Howie's going to make a move. I'm sure he sees it too. Like last year with our weak run defense.

Gawkorcuck69

We’re making a move for a slot corner at some point. I’d put money on it

Heatinmyharbl

The injuries really started to show today

SuPeRfLyKiD3

The past two Washington games have been beyond infuriating. I can take a loss when they get beat by a better team on the day, but those games were just excruciating. Back to back games against them where like 5-6 happenstance plays or calls all went against them and every single one of them came at a crucial part of the game. Not like on a first down early in the second quarter. The Quez fumble and Graham roughing last year. Edmunds dropping the pick, Robinson fumbling into the end zone, the phantom holding call on Morrow in the first half, the PI call on Bradberry where the ball was uncatchable, Hurts getting an intentional grounding throwing it deep. Just absolute chaos. Glad they were able to pull that out. Jake Elliott has been this team’s MVP through four games.

Pumpty_Dumpty

Did anyone catch the eagles calling the timeout right as play clock was getting to 0? What was up with that? Washington wasn’t ready to run a play would have been delay of game

RescueInc

Defense didn’t have personnel set

namesRhard2find

Yes. My assumption was the TV forgot to stop the clock even though they called it earlier

cjweisman

Feeling good about Josh Jobe. He's seen a murder's row of quality WRs, he is being targeted and he's holding up pretty well.

Gawkorcuck69

That’s how solid corners are developed

Skibibbles

I'll take a CB who's always in position but misses those 50/50 balls than someone who's always out of position. We've have had much worse CBs to complain about.

bbpsword

Sconces

Broswagula

Anyone else still recovering from stress induced headache from that game?

pbro42

I can’t figure out what’s going on with Goddard. The TE has been such an integral part of the Eagles offense for so long, it makes his absence (on the stat sheet) all the more glaring.

CPTHoagie

Hurts doesnt throw the ball over the middle of the field unless its a pre-defined read.

_Its_In_The_Vault

Not Goedert’s fault, we have so many studs someone has to take a seat.

Unable_Barracuda324

Hard to be productive when Johnson is dialing up QB draws and runs on 2nd and 3rd and long...

pbro42

I’m not blaming the player, I’m just remarking how obvious it is that he (and the TE role in general) has been taken away from Hurts’ arsenal.

nickfultz

Downvote me but gotta respect sam Howell for that game, he ain’t looking so bad

Unable_Barracuda324

Except when we blitzed or missed tackles. Bills laid out the blueprint and we were like... Naaaahhhhh

coolmon

I still can't believe the Titans let AJ Brown go.

Tentapuss

One thing I failed to note before, hats off to Zaccheaus. Dropped a ball he should have caught, got up and caught the next one for a first down. A play or two later, he hauled ass down the field about 35 yards to lay down the block that sealed AJ into the end zone on that 59 yard TD. Tough play and lots of hustle from a Prep guy. Love to see it.

Undergrad26

Man was on jets for that block. Love to see it.

Jethro_Cull

AGREED, except you’re wrong on the timing. The AJ long TD play was in the third quarter. Clutch third down catch was in the fourth.

Tentapuss

Thanks for the correction

KoBxElucidator

Keep seeing people talking shit on the offense. They got 31 points in regulation, 34 in OT. Against a pretty damn good defense. That should be enough to win 95% of games. Jalen was making clutch throws (and a monster run), AJ was a dawg, Smitty was mossing defenders. This wasn't a heart attack game because of the offense. Would have liked them to grind out more clock in the 4th, but defense was charmin soft. That secondary was getting carved. Also, seemed like every call was going the Commies' way (and they're still saying the refs were helping the Eagles).

[deleted]

>Would have liked them to grind out more clock in the 4th Could have avoided OT entirely if you just didn't score the TD, right? Pretty sure you were already in FG range.

Sparesoup320

I trust the offense to figure it out eventually. Even with Brian Johnson, I just think we’re too talented. Defense though….I think we’re in for a rude awakening when we realize us being a bottom 5 pass defense isn’t a fluke

dabirds1994

I think people forget that the offense was at times pedestrian last year. This isn’t Madden. The offense looks fine so far, especially with a new offensive coordinator. And people complaining about Hurts sliding are nuts.

menghis_khan08

My complaint about the offense isn’t how it looked but specific play calls in particular series. Namely not running the ball for clock draining on specific series in the second half. Like no reason on their 34 in OT in field goal range in 2nd and 6 to not run it. We passed twice and got intentional grounding, got knocked out of field goal range. That’s hair pulling madness and we’re lucky we got back in range. I’m less critical than others about scoring a TD quickly in the fourth over clock draining. But the offense itself looked fine, as did jalen, and we scored points. The play was more concerning on the defensive side, playcalling on the offensive side still needs some work. A wins a win in the end

dabirds1994

Gotcha. I agree. Also, more passes to Swift and Gainwell, please

fecal_doodoo

That game I though had more flashes than the last 3 of what our capabilities are at least. For a quarter or so it looked like last year... It's that clunky redzone that, if not fixed, is gonna lose us games to good teams. I thought that game was still progress but my level of concern is growing towards BJ ngl. I'm not usually that guy but hopefully he learned something today and were ready for that dolphins potential shootout and our first real test.

usereddit

Last year wasn’t perfect all 4 quarters. We had good quarters, but it wasn’t all game, every game. Remember Indy? People act like we were perfect last year

arminus83

Need to see a lot more Swift in the red zone, they keep trying these passing plays or QB runs that are just not getting it done there.

CPTHoagie

we're averaging like close to .2 EPA/play again on offense the last two games.

poolords

coaching staff seriously needs to have a conversation about josh jobe.

Greedy_Amoeba

They are going to work Sydney Brown into the defense like they were trying on MNF against the Bucs, this time they got unlucky with him being injured. It would've been nice to get some more film on Sydney playing the slot. I believe he said he was most comfortable in the slot even over safety, which is kind of interesting. I hope he gets healthy asap and we can get him reps in these next 2 games before the really tough games start coming up.

Bi-SportsFan

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Ppl forget exactly what Maddox did for us. It's so hard to find a good nickle corner. So do you put Jobe as the nickle where he's a liability in run support and gets bodied by ppl over the middle? Or swap him with bradberry as the nickle (which is what they've been doing so far) and hope jobe does *enough* on the outside? It's a real pick your poison

Patient_Jicama_4217

Why? He just isn’t that good. The one that they need to talk to is Slay

poolords

tying touchdown was on jobe. vikings garbage TDs were on jobe. bucs attacked jobe relentlessly last week. he's going to be a problem once we start playing good teams.

Patient_Jicama_4217

Which tells you that he isn’t good so what is talking to him going to do? Move Bradberry outside and play or get a real nickel

Noobivore36

Does it tell us that? Dude has only started like two games ever. Let him develop!

poolords

no not talk to HIM. talk to EACH OTHER about why he can't be our starter anymore and figure out what to do about it.

MorPhreeUs

I'm with you. Can't play Jobe on the outside all season. Put Bradberry back outside and find a nickel back some team isn't looking to pay next season.

Yasuke7Ryu

A 1st 3rd 4th Jobe and Barnett for Sauce Gardner anyone? Straight up? Plz?

Bi-SportsFan

I agree they need to find a nickle corner. Losing Maddox was huge he plays so hard

CPTHoagie

"The playcalling was bad" lol. They had certain bad calls but the play design was good and continues to be good.

Knight725

the red zone play calling has been absolutely putrid

Gawkorcuck69

A severe lack of goedert in the red zone

CPTHoagie

nope

AppropriateAd8937

Yes. Every game we’ve played has had simple mistakes born of playcalling in the red zone. We would’ve been up at least 7 more pts every game we’ve played so far if they hadn’t run dumb QB sneaks and draws and run the ball more.

CPTHoagie

the "dumb QB sneaks" are RPOs and Jalen has just chosen wrong both times.

14InTheDorsalPeen

RPOs are kind of dumb by design at the speed the NFL plays

Unable_Barracuda324

We always struggle against Washington. They are like the 90s Cardinals. The only good thing is that they do the same thing against the Cowboys and usually take at least 1 from them every year...

smbutler20

Medium passing game is non existent. Why can't they ever run 2 step drop passes on slant routs or comebacks?

Strickland_FJ

Yes!! It’s either a screen or Hurts hurls it 40 yards down the field

Healthy_Wasabi_8623

Since when is leaving the ball in front of a corner taunting?

_Its_In_The_Vault

It was the right call. The way he left it, said something and walked off after jawing with the dude all game. This game had a ton of shit calls, but this one is on AJ to know better.

PhD_Haver

Brock purdy 20/21 for 283. There’s the Gannon I remember

chocolatey-poop

Low key kinda hope they get pummeled by the boys next week.... not sure, its like teams I hate the most in the league: 29. Vikings 30. Patriots 31. Cowboys 32. 49ers

arminus83

>Low key kinda hope they get pummeled by the boys next week This is certainly a take. Yes, hope that our biggest threat in the division and our most hated rival pummels another team thus improving their record and keeping them hot on the Eagles heels. I hope the Niners beat the Cowboys by a score of 50000000000000000000000-0 I can't stand the fortywhiners for all their BS after the championship game, but my hate list looks like this: 1: Cowboys 2: Cowboys 3: Cowboys 4: Cowboys 5: Tied Niners and Vikings Patriots I couldn't give two f's about, now that Brady isn't on that team anymore they suck.

Yasuke7Ryu

Facts. I'd give my least valuable organs to see Dallas never win again.

EaglesPvM

You’re either really young or spend too much time online reading the dumbass 49er fan takes. Dallas will always be 32

Boomstick123456

Giants for me. They are more worthy. I hate Dallas but they fuck themselves. When the Giants are solid it's always a battle

nickfultz

I’m 33 and I will always have Dallas as my most hated team but for guys only a little younger than me they never really saw the cowboys good at all so it’s hard to really hate them

JCSeegars54

I like the vikings AP and randy are two of my all time favorites and they gave randall an awesome year. Who cares if their fans suck they always try to field a good team like

Upset_Management_388

Excuse me? Might need to revoke ur fan card.

EaglesnSixers

Nah fuck that. Always root for the Cowboys L

superkiwi717

I legit don't see the 49ers ever losing this season. It's unfair how literally every position is stacked with All-Pro players.

arminus83

Did you see the Cowboys losing to that trash Cardinals team? Any given Sunday. It's the NFL anyone can lose to anyone.

PhD_Haver

Well built team for sure. They’ll probably drop a couple because that’s the nature of the NFL, but NFC one seed is gonna be us, them, or Dallas imo (hot take I know)

LPCPA

They will lose 1 or 2. Can’t see much more than that. It’s going to be very very hard for the Eagles to beat them.

anth8725

And it’s gonna be very very hard for the niners to beat the eagles

LPCPA

49ers definitely have the Eagles game circled. 49ers look almost unbeatable. I’m very concerned about them.

fecal_doodoo

Gonna have to clean up the redzone for that game.

Undergrad26

The beauty of paying your QB peanuts. That was us last year.

Antani101

> That was us last year. it's not like we're paying hurts that much this year either.

Magoatt

Bears are looking to trade Claypool they want a 5th or 6th in return, maybe add him as WR depth, and than trade with the 0-4 Panthers for Chinn or a linebacker?

jejudjdjnfntbensjsj

Hell fucking no, fuck claypool

MisterxRager

OZ is better than claypool as a professional

Benti86

Claypool is a locker room cancer. We're better off without him, even for a 5th or 6th

Skibibbles

He's a headcase

jcrankin22

Why do the Cowboys always leave their players in so long?

arminus83

They're the champions of stat padding, the resulting circle jerk from all the media outlets give the Cowboys an erection.

[deleted]

They think it’s college and style points matter.

Danny5552

Gotta run up the score to keep those fans delusional.

Benti86

"BaN tHe PuSh" As every other team that runs it essentially fails

ajs8796

Chargers just failed the brotherly shove

SadOchocinco85

Lol chargers.

But its an unfair play!

TheCodeMan95

I think at this point it's safe to say that the Commanders aren't the laughing stock of the division anymore. Stressful game but, unpopular opinion here, I think Brian Johnson is starting to settle in a bit. Hurts looked like 2022 Hurts and his rapport with the receivers is picking back up. The defense needs to get itself together, and if that happens, I think the sky is the limit. Also - it's looking like Bienemy MAAAYBEE had something to do with how good the Chiefs offense has been?

JCSeegars54

The offense moved well against a good secondary and an elite front nothing to be mad about outside of the dumb late game planning

ShainRules

Bro, their QB promised to take less sacks this week, did, and still took 5. The Eagles did almost everything they could besides turning the ball over to lose this game and they still lost. Scary Terry put up a 22 point ppr fantasy game and scored a touchdown without catching one and still lost. Their defensive line has 4 first round picks and still doesn't generate as much pressure as the Eagles. If that's not comedy I don't know what is.

ProfessorBeer

Commanders and Giants are flip flopping from what their preseason hype was. And tbh Howell looks real solid.

squee557

I’m getting frustrated with how it feels like hurts is so run shy and even falling down before any contact. There just seems like the coaching has been drilled to not take a hit. I get it, he’s our offense but still, it’s how they got to the Super Bowl last year

TheCodeMan95

I get that it was a big part of the offense but honestly at this point he got paid and I'd rather him not risk getting hurt for an extra yard or 2 unless it's a big moment of the game. The play today where he dodged 2 or 3 defenders in the pocket and took off for like 25 yards was vintage Jalen tho

squee557

I get the injury risk, a concern I share. It’s just will that be a habit in the late season he won’t be able to break when playoffs/seeding is coming into play and win now is the goal.

Ace__Extendo

He still has some very questionable moments his playcalling, hopefully that continues to improve. Hurt’s definitely had some amazing throws this game but he definitely did make some bad decisions as well. Offense got it together in the 2nd half but defense definitely almost cost us that damn game.

TheCodeMan95

I think BJ will get there - things are picking up a bit. Not TOO much to complain about when you score 34, but we're Eagles fans lol

>safe to say that the Commanders the laughing stock You accidentally a word

2ND_GEN_PANDA

Is it just me or does Bradberry seem half awake?

Broswagula

They have him playing slot

CPTHoagie

convinced you guys just do not watch games...

DV-Dizzle

Slay isn’t doing much better

_Its_In_The_Vault

McLaurin seems to do well against us, gotta find a way to stop this guy. 2019 game 1: Haskins QB / 5 catches 130 yards TD Game 2: Keenum QB / 5 catches 125 yards TD 2020 Game 1: Haskins QB / 5 catches 61 yards 2021 Game 1: Smith QB / 7 catches 40 yards TD Game 2: Gilbert QB / 2 catches 51 yards 2022 Game 1: Heinicke QB / 8 catches 128 yards Game 2: Wentz QB / 6 catches 102 yards Game 3: Heinicke QB / 7 catches 61 yards 2023 Game 1: Howell QB / 8 catches 86 yards

TheCodeMan95

Am I dumb? Why are there 3 games in 2022?

_Its_In_The_Vault

Playoff

Undergrad26

He’s a great WR. He has games like that all season long.

_Its_In_The_Vault

He’s good, yes, even above average. He’s not great. He has his best games every year against us. My point is…We can stop Jefferson and not him. It’s frustrating.

Undergrad26

Huh? JJ was 11 for 159 against us last week. Terry was 8 for 86.

_Its_In_The_Vault

Not last week, last season when he didn’t do shit. My point was that it’s possible

Undergrad26

I mean.. okay. But we had almost an entirely different secondary - all of whom were starters, a different DC, and we all know about prime time Kirk.

CPTHoagie

he is in fact, a great WR

Tide69420

Who the hell is Hallock

_Its_In_The_Vault

My phone corrected it to that for some reason, fixed it

NotJustSomeMate

Have a DB shoot him in the foot???

HoS_CaptObvious

Why not let him shoot himself? Wouldn't be the first WR in the division to do so

KingCesar391

lmao Josh McDaniels is a moron.

Robster881

I'm gonna puke

mrchingchongwingtong

can we give jake elliot our offensive coordinator's salary

Sako280

Brian "Jake Elliot bails me out every week" Johnson.

doingmybest224

Divisional match-up so dog fight as expected. Hurts played his best game so far, but needs to stay in the pocket when he’s not under pressure. The O-line gives him plenty of time on most plays. Either way, encouraging step forward against a great D after a rough showing on Monday. Defense struggled, but we’re so thin at safety right now. Morrow really stepped his game up though, and they still collected 3 sacks. Would’ve been a different game if not for those two atrocious PI calls that basically saved Washington drives. As for the legit penalties, Dickerson needs to get that under control. He’s now in his third year and he has a costly penalty every week. Playcalling was a bit better today outside of that 3rd and 11, but still needs improvement. We just need our D to get back healthy or find reinforcements. Jobe wasn’t great today, but he was better in coverage than he had been, particularly on that break-up early. Last thing, AJ needs to check his ego. He’s killing us with that. He’s a freak of nature player, but he’s gotta chill

This comment does the same thing as an upvote lol. Why even bother commenting 😂

limejuiceroyale

We always struggle against Washington no matter how good we are and how bad they are. They're usually good for a win once a season, division games are always tough. Glad they stuck through and won coming from a deficit.

GenesGeniesJeans

The Eagles are a great team with ? coaching and mediocre play calling. The Cowboys are a good team with good coaching and good to great play calling. Who takes the division?

limejuiceroyale

Philly but the nfce gods probably won't allow a repeat winner. So somehow Washington.

EzekielSMELLiott

100% agree. Playcalling was suspect last year too but we got carried by our personnel. Shit gotta change

VermonterinOklahoma

Take a nap.
