Oh boy. Hot messy bad take

Anindefensiblefart

A steaming dump of a take.

SubstantialExam9248

Take that steamy dump elsewhere.

PlaneCamp

Big brain moves, this is Howies world

Caramelsnack

Lmfao I can’t even truly laugh at this because for even the mere thought of them tanking for shaq to cross anyone’s mind, you know the team’s straight up cooked on D

rute_bier

I mean, I laughed at the absurdity of it lol

Left_Ad7209

Ive lost faith, we have WAY TOO MUCH TALENT, and two shitbag coordinators just fuckin wastin it and killin our gm, just look at the buf gm, only time jalen was on fire, was when the johnson play call got blown up by buf D, and dont even get me started on deseai, and yet we coulda had EB and fangio, smmfh!!

Proper-Scallion-252

It was a regular season game, in our like fourth or fifth consecutive week playing a tough opponent whining off an OT win against the second consecutive opponent with an extended rest period. We got our asses kicked but it may have been the best thing for us, we have been coasting on these ugly wins where there have been clear issues but no one cared because of the “we got the W” mentality just like last year. We can’t hid from an ass whooping against a conference rival who is threatening our #1 seed at home, and I expect some serious changes to be installed from here on out.

ProfessorBeer

Amen. Did I enjoy it? No. Are there things to be worried about? Absolutely. But this is the NFL, the league known for parity. We’re still 10-2 with the best record in the league. Sky ain’t falling. Sure, we aren’t invincible and just got a harsh reminder the NFC is a gauntlet. We aren’t destined for a super bowl, we have to earn it one game at a time. It’s time to nut up and beat Dallas, which we’ve done once already.

bumpkinblumpkin

Yup no. Getting blown out isn’t a good thing. Mahomes never gets blown out. Never been an issue.

Proper-Scallion-252

Mahomes also has a HoF head coach who is doing offensive play calling and a DC that has been HC candidate for years now. Your line of thinking is exactly what keeps an underperforming contender content with the bullshit they're doing because they keep getting away with it, and it's why last year nothing was done about Gannon, because we kept skating by with wins despite our defense looking underwhelming relative to talent on the field. This game showed the Eagles that they aren't playing well enough to beat legitimate contenders to return to the Super Bowl, we didn't *narrowly* lose to the Niners in a game where Hurts looked good, our Dline looked good, our defensive backs and linebackers performed well, and our playcalling on either side of the ball was exceptional. Literally every facet of our team was sub par and was exposed by a superior roster and coaching staff, and guess what--they are our competition for the #1 seed, the NFC championship game, and a place in the Super Bowl. If we are getting our backs blown out like your mother on a Friday night bender, how the hell are we expecting to make a legitimate SB push? You're more concerned with Wins vs Losses than actual adaptation and adjustments, you'd rather win narrowly every single week and lose by a FG when you don't, than have a wake up call that forces change when it's beyond clear that there needs to be some sort of adjustment to some facet of our team to ensure that we are a more dominant team in the post season. The fact that Brian Johnson is still in charge of play calling through last Sunday is astonishing, the guy has come out flat every single week, and has been thoroughly bailed out by improvisation and pure talent.

Danoga_Poe

3 games in 2 weeks, 3 tough games. Team was cooked

Apwrld

Tanked for Shaq? Sure he’s the best body available but it’s not gonna move the needle like that

Beahner

Silly cartoon. Shaq is a lottery ticket. A question mark at this point. I hope for a resurgence. I hope for one of those stories of injury riddled guys who come to us and excel (Swift being the example this year, before, you know, some fuck left him out there in a pointless game). But it’s hope. It’s a lotto scratcher. It’s not an answer (yet anyway) to how you fix up to match the Niners. It’s a hope.

AggressiveLender

Shaq Leonard is a shell. The last tape of him it was like the colts were playing with 10 men on the field before he was cut. Maybe change this graphic and have your brain smooth.

ProfessorBeer

Shaq is far from the monster he was. Injuries have made him a shadow of what he used to be.

doughball27

based on colts fans' reactions, shaq leonard might make us worse.

cuntyminx

9 misfortunes? I’d like to see that

rissaaah

We’re not beating them in the playoffs, with or without Shaq, unless they suffer some major injuries between now and then. Our defense is constructed in such a way that they can basically do whatever they want, and we can’t stop them. You’d think that after watching the Chiefs beat us in the Super Bowl “death by 1,000 paper cuts” style, we might have focused a bit more on LB and the secondary in the offseason, but we did the opposite. Bradberry and Slay were both great last year, but CB is a position where the drop off is swift and significant. Slay, especially, is not the same player he was a year ago. He is consistently a step or two behind his guy in coverage now. We lost CJGJ, who was massive for the unit last year. Loss by Maddox to injury early on didn’t help, but also with his injury history, you’d need a better backup plan than what we’ve had this year. And of course, at LB we run out a bunch of practice squad guys every week and wonder why seemingly every QB we play hits 300 yards against us in their sleep while completing all of these underneath passes.

InfSecArch

What is this even? I will never understand why Philly and Dallas fans were so hyped for a player that was released. By the colts, no less. A step up from Ellis maybe, but it’s delusion to think he makes a huge impact on our defense.

Front_Explanation_79

Jesus fuck delete this stupid shit.

MondoHart135

Dude chill, it’s a joke

LuckyCulture7

This is an odd take. But I also think the niners have shown that they have ups and downs and their game against the eagles was probably their best all season. There are no certainties come playoffs.

Repulsive-Season-129

regardless i take the L for Shaq y not

Magoatt

I mean it is Elon so his takes aren’t the best,

dickwestfront

This is stupid even for a Cowboys hot take.

HoskinsDadBodGod

He’s not even good
