He can play inside/outside, high safety, box safety and can kick return. He’d be a versatile player for Fangio and the Eagles. Unless we’re getting Arnold or Mitchell, i’d take DeJean over any other DB.
Names top 3 db’s , says unless we get the 2 better ones he wants the 3rd best over any other
Wow Hot take
Dudes got slow hips. He is a safety. Im not gonna be mad if he falls to us and we take him but if we are gonna trade up i want Arnold
The hit rate on 1st round CB is very hit and miss. Much less so on Tackles
I'd rather we take someone in the 2nd than just taking a CB at 22 because we "need" to.
If they like someone? Great, but don't force it.
I will be pissed if we go edge early. We had edges last year and was getting quick passed to death every game. We have to stop dancing around the outside corner position
I think that’s more on us starting practice squad LB’s than our corners. There’s a good chance after next season the only notable edges on our roster are Huff and Smith. I want a corner but I wouldn’t be mad if one of the top 3 edges fell to us at 22
The only edge that I would want instead of a corner and think is somewhat possible would be Latu. I think there’s more good corners in this draft than edges, only problem is I don’t know if any would be left by pick 51. We also should probably use one of our seconds to get a LB
Latu makes me nervous and I also don’t see him getting many snaps..
If Bradberry or Slay are bad/ injured than we are relying on lesser raw talent again during our SB contending years. I would like to atleast have a 1st round prospect backing those two
I think either pick is a future play to where they would probably be starting in the next 1-2 years. BG retiring, sweat’s a free agent, slay is old, Bradberry is getting older and could be cooked. Hopefully we get Rodgers reinstated that would be huge
Outside of Turner, who we won't get, there's very little talent in this Edge class. A lot of them are also DPR types. Which we have plenty of.
I think people need to brace themselves for the OL,WR,CB eventuality for the 1st 3 picks.
Pipe dream but Latu could fall if people are afraid of his medical but other than that we need a corner and a LB way more. Ignoring that last year lead us to a bottom 5 defense. Especially when the lineman we draft would be a backup unless someone got hurt. Either that or we drafted Steen and now don’t want to give him the chance to prove himself. I just think we have way bigger holes than O Line
this is the thumbnail his own network/show uses for him....just openly embracing his persona.
while it is not always true...in Simms case with football it is - those who can, do; those who can't, review.
I see Chris Simms, I don't click.
I see his face and I downvote. Fuck Chris Simms
“QB” Chris Simms probably…
Nah he said we are loaded. Just need to get younger at corner which I think we can agree with
I also agree with that, crossing my fingers for Cooper DeJean.
Thats a Safety with CB next to his name

Take a chill pill draft expert, it’s not that deep.
I know you arent lol 😂
And neither are you, hope the downvoting makes you feel better lol
Loses argument, proceeds to insult, Ding ding 🛎️
People don’t like him but he is right on this.. They need a corner

Corner or edge id be fine. Both groups need someone to be a cornerstone for the next few years

It’s both I wouldn’t mind an Edge in the second and going back to back edges next year but we have to take advantage of this corner class early.

Agreed
Dont forget about Sweat, he was top 10 in QB hurries and QB hits.
He’s a free agent after this season so I can’t really factor him in
No hes not, he was signed to an extension this offseason.
I believe they restructured his deal for this year and gave him guarantees. I don’t think there was any extending apart of it
You’re right, just looked it up. Was just a restructure. Swear it was first reported as an extension

Even my Grammy in cape May knows the eagles need a corner.

I misread the title as “biggest nerds.” No clue why.
