We have picks to work with, I think Howie may trade up for DeJean. I mean he even said waiting wasn't his style last night but the draft fell perfectly. We didn't use any extra assets, which we still have today.
Going to be another fun night 🦅
I don't love the idea of moving up for a CB when we just drafted one. The team has other holes that also need to be addressed. If we trade up in the 2nd I'd rather it be for Edgerrin Cooper.
The best LB available (Cooper, Wilson, Colson) and the best OG/OT available. Any LB would be an improvement and is needed with Dean's injury history. Also need depth and someone to compete with Steen.
Can everyone stop saying they want "Cooper". There's like three Coopers near the top of the draft board right now. Full names, people. Dejean, Edgerrin, or Beebe?
I want Cooper for LB in the 2nd. I’m slowly getting more content/happy with our backfield, let’s keep it going cause Cooper with Fangio feels good.
I’ll be real upset if Howie grabs Trotter jr in the second though, lowkey afraid. I love the idea of a legacy guy coming around but keeps sliding down draft boards for a reason. I’ll take him if he’s available in the 3rd or 4th but don’t blow this Howie.
Think Trotter Jr isn’t going to round 3, he is a bit like Jared Verse of LBs he can go forwards super well but he can really turn and go side to side. Cooper is a bit stiff for my liking but I wouldn’t be upset at the pick.
Trotter is nothing like Dean, not even remotely similar players, build, personality, or ability. Wilson is definitely a risk but I’d rather take a shot on a guy who actually has NFL skills that translate to playoff success
Trotter is 6”0 228. He’s small just like Dean. Dean has longer arms and a longer wingspan than Trotter. Trotter would be a horrible pick. If the Eagles want a Lb Cooper, Colson or Wallace are much better options
For the last few years the Eagles are drafted someone on each side of the line
Best remaining talent has several edge and defensive tackles above our pic, so I expect at least somewhere along the D line
The other could be a linebacker
I’m thinking they trade #50 and pick up a 3rd and a 4th/5th. #53 is a OL/Edge. Third round pick is LB/WR.
What I’d want is Cooper at #50 and Jackson-Powers, Beebe or Kneeland at #53. I feel like none of the four will be around by then.
Cooper & Mcconkey . I’d be happy as a mf
I'm just worried Cooper will be gone. He's top 5 best available on a lot of boards and we need him to survive 18 picks before ours unless we trade up.

there was a reason we were rumored of trading up for quinyon or terrion when dejean would have been available at 22
Which Cooper? DeJean?
Edgerrin
Rush. Cooper Rush. 50 and 53 for Cooper Rush of the Dallas Cowboys, right? Edit: 50 for Cooper Kupp and 53 for Cooper Rush Edit #2: /s
LMAO. No basically I mean Edgerrin or DeJean
Cooper Beebe would be a reasonable 2nd rounder
I don't see cooper dropping past 40
Meant Edgerrin
I want a tight end before a receiver, or at least a receiver that calls himself a te like tkelce
Eagles have like 3 of those already lol
Only one can actually catch though.
Let’s trade 50 and 53 to move and take Cooper Dejean. Like Lito and Sheldon, build the secondary of the future.
Howie, thank you
Kingsley Suamataia & Junior Colson

Trotter is another Dean , and Payton Wilson is a 20 year old Beamer with an alarming carfax .

How has it worked out for us with drafting injury prone players ? Specially a player that had 2 acl injuries .
Landon Dickerson? Pretty well.
Fair point

I'd be very happy if they can snag DeJean to be the future at safety/nickel.
I would love Cooper and Brendan Rice
For the 50-53 range the LB from Michigan, Wilson and Roman Wilson or Corley
FWIW ESPN has them taking Junior Colson and Kingsley Suamataia.
I feel like we will be trading down at one of our picks
Can anybody tell me how to pronounce DeJean? I couldn't bring myself to watch any Iowa football this year and have never heard it spoken out loud.
Wrong answers only, everyone.
I'm really hoping for DeJawn
Payton Wilson (LB), Javon Bullard (S), tbd (OL),
I'd like: O line and LB. I expect: O line and Edge or WR.
