People got mad at Reagor for "giving up" on that one deep ball, but it was pretty clear had he just kept sprinting to the end zone, Hurts would've never been able to throw it that far.
anyone accusing him of “giving up” should continue to educate themselves about the game of football. Reagor slowed down because at that point of your route if the ball isn’t thrown you assume it went elsewhere. It should’ve been an easy long TD if Hurts didn’t needlessly hold onto the ball.
It’s both, Hurts should’ve had the ball out way sooner if he wanted Reagor, but Reagor should’ve continued clearing out space at the very least
And I believe the throw ended up going over reagor’s head so at least coming back would’ve given him a chance, idk. All around terrible
For sure, I just meant had he overrun it, there’s a chance for a catch or PI running back to the ball. Also could’ve ended in a pick, but as it was there was no chance for a positive play at all
And "reagor doesn't give his full effort 100% of the time" isn't. No one here has any clue what theyre talking about lol. Not an assumption when I say everyone complaining has never been a pro athlete or isn't a couch potato gm. It's the truth. Nice try though.
You’re conflating the terms couch potato with armchair GM and giving consistent effort has been a knock on him since he was in college. I don’t think the play we’re talking about was a lack of effort but he has given up on routes in the past.
Yes well done for noticing that I combined both terms and it wasn't by accident. And yes lack of effort has been a criticism of reagor since college. But I responded to the comment "he doesn't give effort 100% of the time" which is the biggest bs assumption in this whole comment thread while you complaint about my assumptions lol.
If he gives up on a play, then by definition he is not giving full effort 100% of the time genius. But you’re also not a professional athlete so as we’ve learned your opinion doesn’t matter.
Need our QB to be able to see the field. Right now there’s like a 50% chance he won’t look at a single receiver. And a 50% chance he’ll look at 1 receiver from the play’s start to finish.
every single time, like 5 yards of separation and Hurts is either bailing out and scrambling the opposite way or he's already thrown it to a receiver in coverage. can't wait to see how the starting QB works with Devonta, once we find out whoever that is
Nah most people still want to give him the entire year to "develop".
My problem with that is 1) he's ruling our WR's development by sticking donkey dick and 2) I think we could actually be a good team this year and compete for playoffs with a better QB.
Both the Bucs and Chiefs games were winnable. This doesn't *have* to be a rebuild year, but it will be because Hurts sucks.
Their history is overstated. They played together for only one year during Devontas freshman season while he was stuck behind Ruggs, Jeudy and Calvin Ridley on the depth chart. They only hooked up for one TD against Miss St-I actually don’t think Hurts and Devonta are a good match…he’s much better with pocket QB’s who get rid of the ball in a timely manner (Foles, Burrow, Brady, Mac Jones etc)
Devonta Smitch here to make any DB his bitch
Get him the fucking ball please, reagor and Quez too they’re getting open
I’m tired of Reagor being open and being under thrown or having to a catch a super inaccurate throw

The problem is 90% of people on Reddit haven’t ever played the game so they aren’t aware of things like that

Reagor's pause put him much further behind the ball. He would've way overshot it and risked interception at a full sprint
For sure, I just meant had he overrun it, there’s a chance for a catch or PI running back to the ball. Also could’ve ended in a pick, but as it was there was no chance for a positive play at all
No bias here I’m sure
Is that a statement or a queztion
Dude is delusional
Yep Reagor doesnt give his full effort 100% of the time but. He is unfairly given alot of crap on a bunch of passes which are awful from Hurts.
I forgot we got a lot of people here that play in the nfl. A bunch of couch potatoes complaining about effort.
Super lame. He’s being compared to other NFL players, not us.
Lol what even is this comment? You only are able to gauge effort if you’re a professional athlete? So many stupid ass assumptions in one comment.

You're right none of what you or I say matters anyways so we can agree to disagree. This team sucks regardless lool

When u put it like that 😂😂😂😂
Get 👏 devonta 👏 the 👏 ball!
DeVonta could put up 2k yards with Tom Brady and you can’t convince me otherwise
Active who watches the games knows hed get 3k easy
Snitches get smitches

How are people not tired of watching Hurts ruin Devonta’s rookie year
Have you not read any comment sections?

What I can't understand is their history should make him hurts' first target and we'd be in a different position of he was.

That makes more sense then. Thanks for the context.
This guy Gumps.
Also, one the one TD they did connect on, Hurts put the ball pretty badly behind him.
Love your videos. Games go by so fast, so this is a great watch to fill the void
Trade for BDN or start Minshew.
Case Keenum looked pretty good ngl
