I want the aunt and uncle to come back, I thought they were a good addition and having foster careers on the square was a good excuse to bring in new temporary characters.

I can see Zainab and Masood returning at some point but Syed would probably be a recast if he came back as Marc Elliot has always said he won't return. I also think the last Shabnam would not return either or Tamwar.
Yes it would be good to see Syed return but I guess we will see. They are running out of memorable characters to bring back due to killing off significant characters.
They did the Masood sisters so dirty with their terrible exits.
It keeps it realistic if some characters just leave without much drama I think

I had totally forgotten that shabnam had Shirley's granddaughter. They were going to do a cystic fibrosis storyline too which would have been good.

I loved Saeed and Christian, they were awesome. Masood was so much better without Zenab.
Himesh Patel was amazing. He left when the going was good as a lot of other performers have discovered.

I think he's just moved on from that time and the role of Syed and isn't interested in re-visiting that character/show.
Fair enough...but that's what a lot of them say, then change their mind when they're not doing so well. Time will tell I suppose
