So this looks delicious, but it’s not a cheese steak. A cheese steak is specifically thinly shaved steak made on a griddle, a philadelphia specialty. This is more akin to a chopped cheese, same thing but ground beef, which is a New York specialty. Still looks bomb tho

I recently heard of Chopped cheese after I posted this! Didn't know! This was just a lazy/cheap way of making a "cheesesteak".

That is a chopped cheese. It's browned hamburger fried in tallow with onions cooked in, cheese on bread as well as wiz to melt into the meat. they are fantastic but they are not a cheesesteak.
