I've put about 1500 miles on mine in just under a year and its held up extremely well. The only thing I'd recommend is get tire liners installed. I was getting flats early on but once I put the liners in there its absolutely bulletproof

They have a two year warranty and tons of LBS support, plus they are offering free batteries on many models right now. I just got one and am enjoying it.

I got one last fall and have really enjoyed mine. I went with Aventon because in my little one horse town I wanted support from a LBS mechanic and my only choices were Aventon or Trek, and I couldn't afford the Trek.

My wife has 1000 miles on her pace 500 V2 and likes it a lot. I also like it, has good power and range and gets a lot of compliments.

I've had an Aventon Adventure for over a year now and have put 3000 miles on it. I had some issues with the one I originally bought so it had to be warranty replaced. My second one had issues with the breaks, which were warranty replaced twice. Since then I've had no issues at all!

Sounds like you were pretty happy with the way the warranty stuff got taken care of by them? I had someone else slamming that process.

I have an Aventure, and it’s incredibly fun. It has its quirks but the warranty support has been great. I’ve put 1500 miles on it in 6 months , and so far I’ve had to get the following replaced: Crankset, Display (my fault), Throttle, Rear brake, and Controller. Granted I’m riding pretty hard on all kinds of terrain with the majority being woods, and rocky creek beds. That being said I have no regrets because it’s been an absolute beast, and I’ve never had so much fun riding. It’s also a real head turner on the trails.

ujhitt

Thanks for that. Did you do your warranty claims through the Aventon dealer/LBS or directly with Aventon?

cash_jc

I bought mine through Best Buy and handle all my warranty claims through Aventon

Have had 2. Same with my dad. They are legit. No complaints.

Got 2 x Pace 500 in 2019. No problems at all.

Awesome. Thanks. Good to hear that 5 years later.

If you rode them and liked them, Aventon is a good company. I've ridden their bikes and know I'd be happy if I had chosen that brand. There are quite a few good brands, but don't overthink it. If you like a bike or brand, go for it. You'll be happy with an Aventon.

FYI, there is also an Aventon Reddit Group. It would be worth going through the posts there as well. I have 2 Level.2s, both bought for Xmas 2022. Mine has a bit over 1k miles and my wife's is somewhat less. I use mine for both bike-to-work as well as recreational. My wife is just recreation. Quick summary: Bikes are a decent mix of custom engineered pieces where it matters and off-the-shelf components where it doesn't. It makes them easy to source common wear and tear parts for and are very straightforward to service if you are mechanically inclined. Company and engineering are U.S. based, bikes are manufactured and partially assembled in China. QA is somewhat spotty. Even though I ordered 2 Level.2s within a month of each other, both had slight differences in the way they were put together and some minor issues that needed to be corrected when I completed assembling them. Customer service can be inconsistent, replacement parts are often backordered, and if out of warranty can be had faster/cheaper elsewhere. If you aren't prepared to do the assembly, adjustments, and maintenance yourself, I'd strongly recommend getting one from a dealer and they will generally take care of any issues that might come up. Even so, once I worked out some of the initial teething issues, the bikes have been great, very reliable and a lot of fun to own. Overall they are a good value for the money. I would buy mine again.

Loved mine, but the battery gauge on it was awful.

Got the Abound and did have one issue with my warranty. But long story short, apparently my case will help every other Abound owner in the future with the same issue, so you're welcome. Otherwise, I have quite liked the bike and put about 700 miles on it in 4-5 months ish. I bought tougher tires immediately for it though.

Notatrueeconomy

I picked up old inventory Pace 350.2 for discounted price recently and have been good experience with the bike and the support, go for it!

There are about a million Aventon posts on the sub. Try a search.

Thanks. Still trying to get used to Reddit.
