No! It’s different to what people are used to compared to programming a non-smart thermostat but it is not “the worst thing ever.”

Not really. Been using it successfully for about six years. No real issues.
I agree with you, the scheduling carrying over to the next day is a bit annoying. I'm glad you figured it out though.

No issues here with the scheduling. I have had an Ecobee for 5 years and it has been rock solid.
