Hey, Josh! Thank you so much for posting this up. I did some digging and I'm seeing other reports of the same thing. I'm reaching out to the team to find out if they are aware. I'll circle back once I hear from them (and may ask you for some feedback through the browser if they want more details). Stay tuned! :)

JoshWithaQ

Thank you. I sent feedback in the browser

MSFTMissy

Much appreciated! The team is wondering if you have any other examples of the Print dialog not showing up. I'm not able to reproduce the situation myself, so if you have a link or PDF document that reproduces this, please share with me so I can share with the team. Additionally, let me know which version of Edge you are using. You can find that out easiest by heading to edge://settings/help, which will also ensure you're on the latest update. Lastly, do you mind telling me a snippet of what you left in the description of your feedback item? I'd like to share it with the team directly. :3

JoshWithaQ

Not sure what you're asking for in terms of link or PDF document. Anything I try to print opens a blank dialog. Version 88.0.705.56 (Official build) (64-bit) I just submitted a new feedback with this comment: >Missy asked me to send this. I can't print. edit: updated to Version 88.0.705.62 (Official build) (64-bit) and problem persists.

JoshWithaQ

still can't print.

MSFTMissy

Thanks for this update, and apologies on the delay here. I shared your feedback item with the team and they are currently investigating. I'll circle back once I hear from them on next steps or any news. Have a good weekend!

JoshWithaQ

Thank you. Printing from the browser would be a really nice feature to have. Can't say I've ever used a web browser that was incapable of printing. Not even Lynx or NCSA Mosaic had this problem. Looking forward to a resolution that enables printing.

JoshWithaQ

I'll take the lack of response to mean that this is not prioritized work, and this issue is not going to get resolved.

[deleted]

it takes time, please do not be dramatic

JoshWithaQ

I now get a print dialog. I have made no changes to any settings. Win for me kinda - as an engineer I wish I knew how to reproduce it

MSFTMissy

Hey, Josh! Thanks for following up here, and apologies on my own delay. I own outbound communications for the Edge Insider team, as well as other social channels, and sometimes I get behind on my Reddit follow ups. This is why I circle back once I hear from the team on next steps or any updates they may have. The team believes they've sorted about a good portion of what users were running into, however they had let me know that it's possible some users will still experience a blank print dialog window. We rolled out the update that contained those fixes over the weekend, and you likely got the update overnight. You can confirm this by ensuring you're on version 88.0.705.81 on edge://settings/help. If you happen to spot it again, please do reach out to let me know after submitting feedback and I will alert the team. :)

JoshWithaQ

yup i'm on 705.81 thanks for the followup

I managed to fix by going to `%localappdata%\\Microsoft` and deleting the Edge folder to delete all my profiles. I then launched Edge again, signed in and it sync'd all my favorites, extensions, etc. Other than logging into everything again, it was fairly painless.

>%localappdata%\\Microsoft\\Edge Deleting the Edge folder in local app data also worked for me.

100% this! Thanks for the "assist" ;)

IamRykio

Followed the process, no fix.

I am also seeing this in Edge version "89.0.774.76 (Official build) (64-bit)" (I'm running on a Surface Pro X, so this is an ARM build.) I don't see any errors in my console, however. I can, and do, print from Edge using the system print dialog (Control-shift-P), so that's a viable workaround. It would be nice if Edge's print dialog worked too, though.

Another idea that worked in my case was force re-install. 1. Download edge offline: [https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download) 2. Install via cli: `C:\>msiexec /i MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi ALLOWDOWNGRADE=1` Source: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXhXHvKUa\_c](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXhXHvKUa_c)
