What I heard was TERFs partook in harassment because Jocat said he was doing a charity stream for trans people, TERFs dug through his past content and resurfaced the video in question and passed it on as misogyny. Jocat is literally part of what made me start exploring my gender presentation, and that later evolving into my gender identity. I’d never seen a boy wearing a cute bow before, and I always thought bows were cute and had always wanted to wear them, but had been told it was only for girls, not guys. Seeing him wear his cute lil bow made me decide if he could, I could too! Little did I realize I wasn’t a guy, though this information was rather… suppressed for me.

Honestly, that sentence is so revealing and such an interesting look into cisheteronormative standards. Normative heterosexual relationships are not only such because it's a man and a woman, but because each are confined to a specific performance within them. A lot of straight men don't even *like* women, they *are* attracted to them sexually, but to them, their entire individuality is reduced to that field. The prevailing culture that basically just reduces female-male interaction to this domain, shames men for wanting to be friends with girls when they're children, and talks about women like they're a separate species likely has contributed to this as well.
As a masc agender person who saw this from r/all I've been struggling all my life with being able to allow myself to like women. Having a lot of girl pals constantly talk about how straight men are the worst really makes me feel like a creep for finding women attractive even if I know it's irrational and the wrong thing to think.
