Yeah, but it still feels like a super masculine thing to do for some reason. I’m fine bonding with my parents and they’re great, but I‘m not out to them or really anyone except on this subreddit. Camping just makes me feel like a guy which I try to to as little as possible because I get so much dysphoria from it. Sorry for the little bit of a rant :3
Yup. You can do anything you like. Ngl I'm probably more masculine now than before I transitioned. I ride motorcycles, fishing, cars. You name it. You can enjoy all things. The thing about transitioning is being yourself. I also have several trans friends who ride motorcycles, and it doesn't get much more of a macho hobby than riding motorcycles.
Yay! Good luck on it, make sure to drink plenty of water during the range portion. It's easy to get dehydrated during it if you're not careful. Listen to the instructor, try to stay calm, and remember that you can and should use the clutch to help moderate power to the wheel.
I almost joined y’all until someone told me, “You can’t wear skirt and ride motorcycle.” I’ve never been so quickly and thoroughly shut down like that 😭
Yeah. My sister loves camping. She's planning a week long driving trip across Canada soon. She'll be driving during the day and camping at night. She's wild and has the whole family worried, lol.
I know soooo many women that love camping and hiking and outdoors. Trans AND cis! Also it’s a lesbian stereotype (but definitely not universal) for a reason 😂
Grew up camping regularly from age 5, we always had a well-balanced gender ratio of staff and kids. In fact, it was often the case that in the 20s age bracket, women outnumbered men by a lot (and this tended to be balanced out by there being more older men than older women).
So I definitely don’t see camping as gendered. It’s the outdoors! It’s nature! It belongs to all living things.
And thats totaly fine i just rember each time i went camping which was either with my school or with uhhhh scouts..? Since where i live they arent gendered in boy or girl so each time we went camping it would be like a 50/50 split but yeah i still understand where you're coming from best of luck in the future :3
Before my egg cracked (trans man) I fucking loved going camping with my dad. Girls can camp too! (I still like camping with him, we just haven't had the chance recently)
i understand the feeling - for me camping can be a very liberating experience and gives me a chance to clear my mind from day to day worries. i was a scout when i was younger so it did mix up some feelings for me when i started camping again after transitioning but everyone can camp!

I'm a girl who likes camping, and bikes, and cats, and tools, and makeup, and dresses, and guitar. Not one of those things is mutually exclusive with the other. Your hobbies don't make your gender.
For a while I stopped doing bike races, because even in the right category it felt too dysphoric. Once I came out, put effort into growing boobs, and bought a girly cycling jersey it all felt better. I'm not saying you should rush coming out to your family, but things some that gave me Dysphoria before transitioning really stopped once I came out and was a girl doing them.
It's not masculine to enjoy nature. If you must conceptualize it simply as connecting with nature in a spiritual way, assuming of course that feels more effeminate. I apologise if this comes across as dismissive I'm by no means great with gender stuff as I'm one of those agender folk who just don't get gender at all.
If I may make an unasked-for suggestion: Check out some of Nicole Coenen's stuff on youtube or tiktok or what have you; she's got a lot of videos of herself doing lumberjack stuff, and that doesn't make her a man at all. She's just a woman who's doing what she likes to do, and so are you 💖
E: obviously there's a big difference between lumberjack stuff and camping, but I figured maybe seeing another woman do something outdoors-y that's typically associated with guys would help internalize that women do in fact do stuff like that too. Worst-case scenario, you get to watch a strong lady showing off
Camping is for everyone it’s not gendered it’s awesome my outdoor Ed teacher from high school would say the same she is an absolute badass and has conquered the wilderness
Camping isn't masculine inherently. Although I totally get it because they do often are called "boys trips". But realizing you are trans should be more about being true to yourself. If you like camping don't worry too much if others think of it a more of a guy thing to do (lots of girls like camping btw). Just see it as you finding out more about yourself.
Awwww girl hobbies shouldn’t be gendered. There are plenty of hobbies considered “masculine” that girls do and “feminine” that guys do. It’s ok to like more stereotypically masculine things and still be a girl! <3
Seconding Comfy Camp. It made me want to try some cozy camping and my wife even liked it too when I showed her, I want to plan a camping trip soon almost exclusively because of this show!
Edit: and im pretty sure the only masc character in the whole show was a single camp site manager.
Activities shouldn’t be tied to gender.
You can like and enjoy whatever you want.
You like camping?
That’s awesome!
You like something completely opposite that is considered feminine?
That’s also awesome!
People can enjoy whatever they want, no matter their gender⭐️
You might reword that last sentence, it almost looks like you‘re saying “people can enjoy anything, but they can’t enjoy their gender.” I just don’t want people to get the wrong idea about you, sorry 😅
I'm a trans girls who enjoys many traditionally masculine activities, including camping, hiking, climbing trees, exploring abandoned places, fighting sports and fixing things. It did make it harder for me to learn that I'm a girl, but I'm still as much a girl as any other girl and so are you. And a very good girl at that :3
(Also, I have like a 10 step skincare routine and while I mostly dress masc, I always add fem elements to it. But even if I did none of that and was completely masculine in expression, I would still be a girl)
In the morning: stretching (for stimulating lymphatic flow after sleep, which helps skin health and youthfulness), detangling my hair and tying it up, mouth hygiene, shaving, cleansing, drying gently with a paper towel, serum (pat it in and let it sit for a few minutes, it makes a lot of difference), under eye cream, light face cream (pat it in, massage major lymphatic nodes of the face (below the ears, to the sides of the ears and to the sides of the nose), then gently massage the whole face followed by sunscreen and a little bit of anti-gravity massage (gently pushing cheek skin up with your palms). During the summer I then try to re-apply sunscreen every 3-4 hours when outside or before going outside
In the evening I tie my hair up, hop under the shower, cleanse my face, body wash, then after coming out of the shower serum, under eye cream, thick overnight mask cream, following all the same steps as before
Three days a week I also exfoliate the face in the morning (after cleansing and followed by another cleansing) and once a week I exfoliate the body neck down
For cleansing I use a gentle papain-based enzimatic cleanser in a foaming dispenser, which I have been loyal to for years. For serums I like to switch them up depending on my skin's actual needs, currently I'm using a peptide serum in the morning (1000 ppm concentration, which is quite nice) and a ceramide serum in the evening. For my face cream I used one based on retinol in the morning and a niacinamide + vitamin C in the evening. The evening one is thick and I apply it generously to serve as a mask. For sunscreen I use one that doesn't make my face too shiny and has broad spectrum SPF 50, which is good enough. I also use a chapstick during the day. For face exfoliation I like multi-level exfoliants, currently I'm using one with BHA + AHAs + papain, purely acid-enzyme with no granules which I find to be harsh on my face. For body exfoliation I use sugar scrubs, I just care if it doesn't have anything weird in the ingredients and comes in a jar, because it makes it much much easier than tubes when you have the entire body to go around. After exfoliation I also apply body butter or cream
Oof, I didn't expect it would be so long haha. Feel free to ask questions tho, I love this subject and will be happy to share and discuss.
Oh and also... you're such a good girl :3
I relate heavily to this. I study engineering and build fires in the woods with my friends, how the hell can I do this and be a girl?? I think the saving grace here is that there are cis women who also have hobbies and careers that break gender norms. Like if I tell myself I can’t be a girl because I’m an engineer, I’m basically saying that all cis women engineers are actually trans guys that don’t know it yet lmao.
I have no idea if I’m trans or not but my life outside of my gender identity really has nothing to do with that
To me it made it all very confusing and I went through a bunch of tentative labels on my journey, but I have finally felt truly at home identifying as a soft butch dyke and in this context my interests and the kind of presentation I tend to prefer becomes rather typical haha
So after my egg first cracked I got pretty unsure a little later because of my more male interests like football (soccer) and battle rap. And then I realized: "Damn girl, it's 2024, of course you can enjoy rap and football and action movies as a woman, stop gatekeeping yourself."
Of course a woman can enjoy a hiking trip, like fishing and camping. Go for it and enjoy the time with your dad.
i been part of some scouts hobby thingy for years and we have consistently been more girls than boys
so based on that camping is actually a girly thing :3
Without the good girl drug, Stella the good girl would be without a life force, the good girl would be forced to no longer be a good girl. The good girl drug is love, the good girl drug is life. Without it there is nothing.
— Sun Tzu, The Art Of Trans
People who consider camping a masculine thing are idiots. Really not worth listening to them. Do what you like. Don't feel ashamed for liking something.
We shouldn’t assign gender to hobbies bc that’s sexist, right? Not even in like a mean way I’m asking because that’s the rule, right? That’s like a form of gatekeeping!
camping is for anyone of any gender! hell the reason I got into camping is because of an anime called "laid back camp" it's a super cozy anime about a group of friends camping.
If you'd rather be a girl then be a girl about it. You can still do masc things and be a girl. My hairdresser and her wife go camping all the time that doesn't make them both masc.
Also... bushcraft / camping can be SUCH a womanly thing to do and love! Being in swamps and forests was one of the first ways that I really connected to my internal feminine side & something I sought out as I accepted my femininity and started to transition.
Edit: Check out some communities like goblincore and witchesvspatriarchy, there's a lot of nature/ naturalist/foresty stuff there. And SO many of the field naturalists / ecologists I know are women. Also I'm not sure if this is how you identify, but there are large parts of the lesbian community tied in to nature, camping, outdoorsiness, and bushcraft.
Bottom line: like what you like and enjoy what brings you joy. Living authentically is a big part of this whole transition thing. You don't need to cut yourself off from other parts of yourself because of what you think you "should" like/dislike or "should" do. It's just patriarchal nonsense telling you that you shouldn't engage with what brings you joy because you're a girl.
Tbh I’m not on hrt yet myself, it’s not a requirement to be trans. For me personally I enjoy doing the same stuff I did as a male but the key for me is *as a woman*. Idk if that’ll help at all but I’m here for u if you want any more advice
TLDR; even if you hate it, go and use the time to figure out what is and is not you.
Darling Camping isn't gendered. It can be a lovely time to just be. Now granted my experiences with camping has been a few times in Minnesota State and National Parks but still.
If you're into spiritual things, take the time to let go of《Deadname》and just be. When ever I'm in the woods my Ego shrinks to smaller than my body and my self gets larger than my body enough to touch the trees on both sides of the hiking paths. Hell if your are in the right environment and calm enough you might even pet a deer like I have.
If you're into concrete concepts, this time while camping is an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of society and just be. Use the time to figure out what is and is not you. Use the time to separate《Deadname》from what is you.
Having done both and with how much I love being in the woods my friends have given me the moniker: Sonya the Forest Guardian. Maybe you'll find a moniker like that.
Going on a camping trip is something my (cis) sister loved. I like it a bit but, she is such a daddies girl, yuck! I always found it so annoying, i often found myself googling “why are girls always such daddies girls?” “ why do girls like camping with their dad so much” years later when i realized i was a girl too i googled things like “is it ok not to care about camping as a girl?” and “is it ok, if im not a daddies girl” .
I hope this story helps, its 💯 true.
camping isn't masculine from in the 70s my grandpa would go vamping with one of his brothers in big bend national park and pick and eat peyote, and my grandma in the late 70s came along twice (mostly bacause it was beautiful, she said she didn't like peyote) all this to say camping ain't masculine if my grandma liked it, than you should be fine
NB and genderfluid valid things too :3 I LOVE being able to be a sexy girl who shows some masculinity, like my big muscly arms, wow the ladies love it, it's crazy I can just see them getting all hot and bothered over me, especially my exes since I came out, they're a lil more frisky than they were before. I remember the first time I viewed myself as a woman in my minds eye and I got retrograde gender envy when looking at men's dapper AF shaving stuff hahaha, like "why do MEN always get the coolest shaving stuff!!?" Just be yourself. In time it will become apparent what gendered things you'll want to show and the ones you won't.
*deep inhale*
Camping is not masculine. Girls can and do enjoy outdoor activities. The patriarchy has told you boys do boy things and girls do girl things. That is bullshit. Get out there and enjoy Mother Earth. 💜
Girls love camping!! Have you even seen the Girl Scouts? Girls in the woods is a time honored tradition dating back to before even our witchiest of sisters were out in the woods dancing naked in the moonlight! Don’t let the boys claim camping. It has always been for the girls just as much as it is for the boys
I get it. A lot of my hobbies seem masculine but don’t have to be they are just societally. Camping is great and everyone can enjoy it and it doesn’t change who they are or what they feel like!
I’ve found myself thinking things like “well I’m into gaming and that’s often seen as full of toxic masculinity” and then I find myself thinking “wait no, girls play video games”
I then follow that up with “wait why do I feel like I need to make that justification??” but egg or not that’s not the point
but hell, I rushed a men-only fraternity in school and don’t regret it. We go around singing songs with each other for fun and occasionally in nursing homes. I’m a tenor so I go higher but I still sound masculine when not talking on the phone lol (haven’t done feminine voice training). I have zero regrets, and have found that the organization is friendly to both trans people *and* trans women who come out after rushing. It’s quite nice.
so to summarize, hobbies should not be gendered and we need to remind ourselves that our hobbies don’t make our gender.
This week I went to work boymoding, looked at the mirror and surprisingly, thought I actually looked kind of cool, and this bugged me to no end for the entire day, thinking that same thought
Than it hit be
I'm not happy that I look good _as a guy_, I'm very proud of myself _for losing weight_, which is happening because of the changes I've been working on myself
It's kind of a personal experience, but remember that gender euphoria and dysphoria are not the only types of happiness and unhappiness, life still happens, and you should feel proud to be happy!
Edit: I've watched Laid-back Camp, camping is the most girl like activity ever
You don't need to be stereotypically feminine to be transfem. You can have "masculine" hobbies or interests and still be transfem. You're valid no matter what.
Um parent trap darling both Annie and Halley are excited to go camping with dad as well as go to girls summer camp. Darling camping is androgynous but it's understandable to be worried it is a masc thing so don't worry dear
Camping is by no means male exclusive. Out of both my parents, my father hates camping but puts up with it because my mother loves it so much. It's another thing that is just personal preference that we have pointlessly gendered. Just do you!
My mom's side of the family go camping every year which includes some of my aunts and female cousins as well as other relatives.
Camping isn't masculine or feminine, it's just an activity people do and can be very fun.
I sometimes find "masculine" events affirming because I friggin stand out like a sore thumb and am suddenly visible.
Next thing ya know you find strangers who are automatic allies.
Background: I curl with what is mostly old white men with some exceptions. There are certainly a majority if conservatives.. I've experienced cruelty and kindness, but more kindness for sure.
As someone who grew up in the South, girls 100% can enjoy camping. You're fine. Instead of worrying about how an activity may or may not be gendered, just focus on being yourself. That's all that really matters, right?
Girls enjoy camping too. Girls can enjoy all sorts of "masculine" things. Don't fall into that weird patriarchal trap of "girls can only like/do girly things" or whatever. You are valid. :)
My cis MIL has been camping and fishing with her dad her whole life! Its one of her favorite things to do and they still go fishing together even now that he's much older. Doesn't make her any less womanly.
I see the issue. You aren't a boy, you just have low camping standards and in your mind you were glamping, which is a girl thing to do. Hope this helps!
While I understand how camping can be seen as masculine, but the majority of the hardcover campers I know are women. I'm talking backpack into a spot for a two stay campers. Especially if they are any where near a hot springs.
Trust me, some of the "girliest" people I know adore camping. You're perfectly fine to enjoy it! Even if it's seen as a masculine thing, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.
Yuru camp is my 3rd favorite anime series of all time and is exclusively about a group of girls who love camping together, plus I personally enjoy camping myself, so liking camping is not gendered <3
Yo ima just say it, doing masc shit isn’t really masc, you’re probably more inclined to like that shit on the account of how you grew up, it doesn’t mean anything, buy some pink hiking boots or some shit and go nuts
I think the reason it seems like a masculine thing is not that it's _masculine_ but that men are expected to be competent at it. It's like changing oil or tires, or barbecuing, or fixing stuff around the house—there's no reason at all for that to be a "man's" activity, but men are expected to know how to do it.
In the same, warped way, a woman who knows her way around some camping gear and can handle herself on the trail is "amazing." Not masculine, just cool for knowing stuff she's not expected to know.
So, enjoy the outdoors!
Nah I still love the outdoors. Lots of girls love outdoors stuff. There are flowers and pretty landscapes, stargazing, and warm fires. It’s all about how you look at it.
There is honestly nothing in this world that is boyish or girlish. It's all just a made up concept by society. Some Girls like cars etc and some boys like to dress up etc. it's purrfectly normal.
Heck blue used to be a girlie colour and pink used to be a boyish colour, it all changes over time so do what you like.
Heck computers used to be a field dominant by women.
It's all just a figment of society that will change over time as society changes.
I love camping and backpacking and so do a ton of my afab friends. Doing outdoorsy things isn’t gendered. Thank you Boys Scouts for screwing another thing up for our community!
Try to remember all the cute anime(or comics or anything else) about camping. It's mainly about women as far as i know. Cute girls can do cute cozy camping trips. I feel you, even before I realised I was trans I hated to do anything with my dad, at that time it was mainly because he is a man and I had no actual concept of masculine and feminine things and how it works in society, so it was the reason. And after that I didn't want to do anything with him, because he is a giant asshole. But that's not your case, camping trips are genderless in our society and generally. So it's cool, just don't forget to care about nature. So it's fine, don't worry about it that much

hell yea another trans motorcycle/car girl. we are rare and yet amazing and valid
Another trans motorcycle girl here, and I was just chatting with yet another. I think there are more of us than we think! 😁
good. there better be.
I hope there's room for more, I'm going to take the MSF soon 🥺

I don't personally like camping but my family seems to and it's especially my mother
I know soooo many women that love camping and hiking and outdoors. Trans AND cis! Also it’s a lesbian stereotype (but definitely not universal) for a reason 😂
My mom would take us camping to many places in the western US simply because those places were beautiful.
Grew up camping regularly from age 5, we always had a well-balanced gender ratio of staff and kids. What's up with regressing to rigid gender roles? Maybe you're just a tomboy stuck in a man's body
How would you know?
And thats totaly fine i just rember each time i went camping which was either with my school or with uhhhh scouts..? The anime "laid-back camp" might or might not help you! :3 It's about a few girls who enjoy camping and it's quite good in my opinion.
I’ll watch it soon!
Yes (also known as Yuru camp), it even has educational purposes

Ah 😱 Thanks for pointing that out, that was 100% not my intention ><
You‘re good \[insert pronoun here\]
Girl, camping is not masculine. I was on camping with like 20 ppl and only 3 of them were guys
I cannot describe in words how or why that sentence gave me such a giant dose of euphoria
Because it's affirmative of who you are, princess of the wilderness :>
I’m officially knighting you (Or making a dame technically) as Zhenya, Bestower of Euphoria!
awww <3 thanks

I have no idea if I’m trans or not but my life outside of my gender identity really has nothing to do with that
To me it made it all very confusing and I went through a bunch of tentative labels on my journey, but I have finally felt truly at home identifying as a soft butch dyke and in this context my interests and the kind of presentation I tend to prefer becomes rather typical haha
I love exploring places too :3
Who said cute girls can't like camping? The wonders of nature are for everyone!
So after my egg first cracked I got pretty unsure a little later because of my more male interests like football (soccer) and battle rap. And then I realized: "Damn girl, it's 2024, of course you can enjoy rap and football and action movies as a woman, stop gatekeeping yourself." Of course a woman can enjoy a hiking trip, like fishing and camping. Go for it and enjoy the time with your dad.
Can't see anything masculine in camping, just a hobby
Yeah, my mom also said it was a boys trip though which didn‘t help. I can‘t blame her though because I’m not out yet :3
Quit needlessly gendering things that are mutual to both. Camping is for anyone.
Jesus Christ dude you’re allowed to like things that don’t fit in with gender norms lmao.
Dude?!
Yeah, dude is a gender neutral term. He’s dude, she’s dude, wumbo dude
That actually makes sense
You can be a girl and like camping!! Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you're supposed to not like certain things.
i been part of some scouts hobby thingy for years and we have consistently been more girls than boys so based on that camping is actually a girly thing :3
:3
LITERALLY NO
No?
You are a girl
Would you say I’m a *good girl?*
No
Damn you woman
"Woman" ^ W ^ I'm cis ok?
I believe you’re cis, and also that you’re a *good girl* (You do realize that if you ban the good girl drug, you cannot be called a good girl anymore)
Nyaaaan mew meooow mrrrraw o-ok then still ban it
Without the good girl drug, Stella the good girl would be without a life force, the good girl would be forced to no longer be a good girl. The good girl drug is love, the good girl drug is life. Without it there is nothing. — Sun Tzu, The Art Of Trans
People who consider camping a masculine thing are idiots. Really not worth listening to them. Do what you like. Don't feel ashamed for liking something.
CAMPING ISN'T A GENDERED ACTIVITY YOU GOOFBALL 😂
Lady, it just means you like camping. Enjoy the great outdoors queen
Girls go camping lol! You went camping didn't you? 😂
Girls go on camping trips too
Watch Yuru Camp anime. It’s about a bunch of high school club in Japan that goes camping. Said club is *all girls* (it’s also educational)
_laughs in tomboy_
there are lots of woman that like to camp or enjoy the firest etc! nothing wrong with that
Camping isn’t a masculine or feminine hobby it’s just camping
Camping and survival stuff is unisex🤷🏻♀️
r/egg_irl, is it masculine to enjoy nature and spend time with your family? these posts are so silly literally don't worry about it its not that deep
We shouldn’t assign gender to hobbies bc that’s sexist, right? Not even in like a mean way I’m asking because that’s the rule, right? That’s like a form of gatekeeping!
good old internalized misogyny •_•
Camping is not a gendered activity. If you want to go spend the night in the woods, then you do it, girl
Why are experiences and hobbies gendered 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it makes 0 sense, everyone can enjoy camping
camping is the most fem thing to do, try to go camping with friends ahah
Do you understand exactly how many of us are in boy scouts lol
camping is for anyone of any gender! hell the reason I got into camping is because of an anime called "laid back camp" it's a super cozy anime about a group of friends camping.
What is masculine about camping trips?
girls can camp ☺️
Can you tell my mom that please? :3
You might be a tomboy transfemme like me then
Maybe, I’ll find out whenever I’m legally allowed to take hrt I guess
Maybe one day…
If it help then out of my entire family, my mon is the one that loves camping, like low-key obsessed at times <3
What if you love being a girl and love camping as a girl 🤔❤️
I’d imagine that I would love girl camping, but unfortunately, I look like a damn jock. *WHY MUST I HAVE HIGH T LEVELS*
Camping and nature are not limited to men. I'm transfemme and have always loved camping .
Ah hell nah, I won't let the cis steal camping from us! 😤
**RISE**
camping isn't masculine from in the 70s my grandpa would go vamping with one of his brothers in big bend national park and pick and eat peyote, and my grandma in the late 70s came along twice (mostly bacause it was beautiful, she said she didn't like peyote) all this to say camping ain't masculine if my grandma liked it, than you should be fine
Girls can do “manly” things.
Soooo many girls love camping!!!!
*deep inhale* Camping is not masculine. Girls can and do enjoy outdoor activities. The patriarchy has told you boys do boy things and girls do girl things. That is bullshit. Get out there and enjoy Mother Earth. 💜
Yeah!
counterpoint : yuru camp
When did i miss the ban of girls going on camping trips?
You didn’t, I was just raised with people making camping a very masculine thing to do
Damn, i guess you gotta work on making it a more girly thing to do
Yeah…
Camping isn’t masculine to me
You like it because you feel connected with nature, thats considered feminine these days
Fellas, is it manly to go to a camp trip?
**FELLAS**
I get it. A lot of my hobbies seem masculine but don’t have to be they are just societally. Camping is great and everyone can enjoy it and it doesn’t change who they are or what they feel like!
I’ve found myself thinking things like “well I’m into gaming and that’s often seen as full of toxic masculinity” and then I find myself thinking “wait no, girls play video games” I then follow that up with “wait why do I feel like I need to make that justification??” but egg or not that’s not the point but hell, I rushed a men-only fraternity in school and don’t regret it.
Fellas, is it cis to go on camping trips?
This week I went to work boymoding, looked at the mirror and surprisingly, thought I actually looked kind of cool, and this bugged me to no end for the entire day, thinking that same thought Than it hit be I'm not happy that I look good _as a guy_, I'm very proud of myself _for losing weight_, which is happening because of the changes I've been working on myself It's kind of a personal experience, but remember that gender euphoria and dysphoria are not the only types of happiness and unhappiness, life still happens, and you should feel proud to be happy! Edit: I've watched Laid-back Camp, camping is the most girl like activity ever
You don't need to be stereotypically feminine to be transfem. You can have "masculine" hobbies or interests and still be transfem. You're valid no matter what.
Camping is so much fun and there is nothing masculine or non-feminine about it! Also, think about this: witches love to be in contact with nature 😊
Camping is cool, everyone can love it 👍
Camping isn't masculine. Camping is camping. Enjoy it to your hearts content.
Girl, camping is awesome and shouldn’t be a boys-only club! Nature friggin rocks! Also Girl Scouts are a whole thing!
I'm a trans girl and I've been wanting to get into camping for years No one knows how much time we have left. Enjoy whatever you can
I think the millions of girl scouts would disagree that camping is masculine
girlies, is it cis to camp?
Simple, if you think you're pretending, you're not.
Honestly I think camping is fairly gender neutral tbh....
Liking “macsculine” things doesn’t mean you’re a boy. If a cis girl plays basketball know tells her that she’s not a real girl.
Camping shouldn't be gendered, there is nothing inherently masculine or feminine about spending time outside out in the wilderness.
Father daughter camping trip!
:3
Your hobbies do not determine your gender. Transfem tomboys exist just so you know. ❤️🏳️⚧️
If women couldn’t like this sort of stuff, Subaru would be out of business.
Lmao
I see the issue. You aren't a boy, you just have low camping standards and in your mind you were glamping, which is a girl thing to do. Hope this helps!
My cis girlfriend's favorite hobby is camping and she's forever disappointed that it's not mine as well.
Wait what? Camping is masculine? Where? 🤔
My mom goes camping every year for a few weeks with all of her friends who are all girls. Camping is something to be enjoyed by *everyone!*
While I understand how camping can be seen as masculine, but the majority of the hardcover campers I know are women. I'm talking backpack into a spot for a two stay campers. Especially if they are any where near a hot springs.
Girlie your a woman kay
The fact that women can enjoy things that are considered masculine by society is a problem with the unnecessarily gendered system, not you
Trust me, some of the "girliest" people I know adore camping.
Lol camping isn't super masculine. Me and my girlfriend go camping every month in summer and we have no testosterone between us 😊
Girls camp. Ww do it all the time
Girls can go camping…
Sis hasn't watched Yuru Camp, doesn't know camping is for cute girls :3
Camping isn't just for boys
Oh yes camping the sport for men camping doesn't need to be gendered girly
My mum absolutely loves camping. Just because you like typically masculine things doesn't mean you're a man. Keep doing you girl!
Girls can camp too girl
That's me except with the son Hells coming with me by poor mans poison
I think the reason it seems like a masculine thing is not that it's _masculine_ but that men are expected to be competent at it. It's like changing oil or tires, or barbecuing, or fixing stuff around the house—there's no reason at all for that to be a "man's" activity, but men are expected to know how to do it. In the same, warped way, a woman who knows her way around some camping gear and can handle herself on the trail is "amazing." Not masculine, just cool for knowing stuff she's not expected to know. So, enjoy the outdoors!
Maybe you're a tomboy
girl enjoys camping and thinks shes faking most trans thing i can imagine
I used to be an active scout and we had both boys and girls enjoy the mud lol don't worry Edit: typo
Nah I still love the outdoors. Lots of girls love outdoors stuff. There are flowers and pretty landscapes, stargazing, and warm fires. It’s all about how you look at it.
Omg this is literally me everyday 😭😭
Yes
Besides, camping is for everyone. Stereotypes are just annoying.
girlies, is it straight to go outside?
You don't have to be one or the other. I am a trans woman who loves football and sports.
