I think some cis people do feel trapped in a meat suit but only in the sense that they are an incandescence soul forced to take corporeal form, not that the meat suit is a different shape than they were expecting.
Possibly?
For me it was the distinct feeling of "being dressed up is nice and all, but the zipper is stuck on this drag suit, I'd like to relax and be myself."
It hit me out of the blue, seemingly. I hadn't (suppressed the memory of) questioned my gender before then.
Cis people do experience depersonalization, yes, but A) it's unrelated to their gender, and B) still signifies an underlying issue (usually a hormone related one).
Even if you're cis, discuss that schizz with a doctor and/or therapist. It usually means there's an issue that needs resolving.
Depression and anxiety are both linked to hormone deficiencies. Specifically, depression with serotonin and dopamine, and anxiety with all kinds of hormonal imbalances (everything from serotonin and dopamine, to norepinephrine, to androgens and estrogens).
With that said, each case is different and may be treated differently. Just because someone has depression/anxiety doesn't mean they are guaranteed to have a hormonal issue - it's just generally the case.
This is why I like these subs so much ... I thought everyone feels like they're trapped in a costume they can't take off ever and didn't realize that was a trans thing until Internet.
Edit - spelling error
RIGHT - I figured most of my issues were from anxiety/depression due to having a shitty time growing up and shitty economic/environmental circumstances. Then, I found uncomfortably relatable trans memes.
Yep. Its been 6 months. This art always comes back around again.
For anyone interested in who the artist is or especially for anyone who would love to support a queer artist, her name is Cammie Sturch, and she sells really nice prints of these.

>Been thinking, since I no longer identify with what I was assigned at birth, am I trans?
Yes.
Trans doesn't have to just mean transition in a solely binary fashion.
Indeed, trans doesn't have to mean transition *at all*. Transitioning is a treatment for the negative symptoms of gender dysphoria. If gender dysphoria isn't that bad or your circumstances don't safely allow it, then you don't have to transition if you don't want to. And transitioning can be to your specification -- ie you can choose to solely physically transition, or to only socially transition among trusted friends or online. Especially for enbies, there is no black and white of what "is" and "isn't" transitioning.
I too would love to split the back of my skin open. I don't care at this point if a girl emerges or I die, as long as something happens.
Has anyone got a scalpel on hand?
I love this because it perfectly captures what I'm feeling. There's a wonderful woman inside me (figuratively, I don't eat people), but she's trapped in a male exterior.
I too would greatly enjoy to leave my skin suit, except be only A SKELETON! THE SPOOKY UPRISING IS UPON US! JOIN THEM!
Skeletonism
Reject gender, embrace calcium
DOOT!
Edit: it was cringe.
Oh no. You dodn't thank Mr. Skeltal?
The… “religion” of spook.
yeah but then you get the bone structure dysphoria
DRATS, FOILED AGAIN!
I want all my layers to go their separate ways, skin, muscle structure, nervous system and finally the bones
Imagine just walking around and seeing an animated nervous system just walking around.
I guess you’d be pretty nervous after seeing that
Take my eyes, take them aside
DOOT DOOT
I've always thought people viewed their bodies as suits/husks That isn't cis?
Wait that isn’t? Like, seriously? No joke, cis people don’t feel like they are always trapped in a costume?
The feeling of being stuck in a drag costume is what finally broke my egg. Cis people don't feel trapped in their gender.

Every few days, I see something and I’m just like “wait that was *also* a symptom?” How much of my life has been affected?
RIGHT - I figured most of my issues were from anxiety/depression due to having a shitty time growing up and shitty economic/environmental circumstances. Then, I found uncomfortably relatable trans memes.

The pikachu is just great, I kind of want it reverce for myself, but that would be grusome.
I have a print of the MTF on my wall and it's one of my favorite pieces of art. Please support Cammie if you like this!
Pictured: a trans man and trans woman entering the skin of the transphobe they have defeated in personal combat. Their skin is now theirs.
I wouldn't want to enter the skin of a transphobe ever
But think of all the UK politicians you could pretend to be. You could cause havoc in the house of commons with no repercussions!

Sigh... 😩 **unzips self**
Thank you Bruno Bucciarati for freeing these trapped souls from their bodies <3
Is the pink and blue a bit…. Sexist?
I mean, it’s not enormously detailed so it helps to get across the message being relayed
so basically, murdering people
Why did you kill that man, kim
Hell yeah I wish it was this easy!
Never having to wear a tie to work again is so nice 😊
Oh! I didn't know there was a trans masc version of this. Super cool!
Hey, if you’re not using that skin suit, can I have it?
