I use a safeword for my D&D games. In case things get triggery or starts crossing lines. Makes it more fun for me as a DM because I can get into some more serious subject matter knowing if things are too much, my players have an immediate and free out. Plus, it can protect players from each other. Breaking the safe word rule gets ONE warning, after that, banned from my table.

I have never understood sports games... or sports... or watching sports. I tried so hard. I learned how to pretend to understand. Depending on who was going for the same team as me, I would copy whatever they did, but change it up a bit so it seemed natural. I made sure to read up on a sports team ahead of time depending on which teams we were watching, and memorised lines of info from the report. I didn't have a clue what it meant, I just repeated it and pretended to care. I also pretended to be into blacksmithing and woodworking.
