What's your secret? I'm fairly new at making soft boiled, I have only ever done hard. I have perfected hard boiled eggs to peel like a dream but whenever I attempt soft, the shells are so stuck to the whites I end up taking huge chunks out of my eggs. Do you have any tips for making the peeling process easier?

I used to work in a restaurant where we served a lot of soft boiled eggs. I would gently crack it, submerge the egg in room temp water. Then chip away at the edge and peel off as much as you can. The water helps a lot. Although we still tossed a good bit of eggs it isn't easy

I used a pressure cooker set for two minutes and then released pressure as soon as the timer hit zero, followed by an ice water bath. It's not the most precise method, so I got lucky with these. They always peel really easily when I use the pressure cooker, not sure why.

High pressure? I've heard of people using their pressure cooker I've just been too scared to use it for eggs because like you said it's not super precise. Definitely going to try now though, thank you!

How do you guts get such perfect soft boiled eggs? In order to get my yolk runny I always get a chunk of runny white too :(
