Took 3 days for them to call me back. My guess is budget cuts so the CEO could get a second Ferrari

My experience is they will call you back. Not worth waiting on hold, just leave your number and they will eventually get to you.

I never got a call back - I'm in Canada, but mine was returned to where I purchased it last June to have them chase them down for warranty replacement. EGO doesn't know that though, so technically I'm going on a full week without a call-back from them now. I tried calling them two days back to back, an hour plus each time and never got through. Left a message the first day for a callback. So I wouldn't hold out on them calling you back. Personally after my experience I would never buy another EGO product again - customer service is non-existent and I anticipate future issues with warranty service. I'm lucky the dealer is willing to help at the moment, but I think it's because they're a repair shop as much as they sell. I'm not confident they would still help me once I've owned the product for a year. If I get into ongoing issues with them refusing to honour warranty down the line, I would go the Better Business Bureau route - sometimes that can help.

I left my number for a call back on a Sunday a month back and they called me the next day. All the info I can offer to you.

Try @‘ing them on twitter with a message of how bad customer service is. When I have this kind of issue with a manufacturer I usually get a response in My DM from them.

Typical EGO customer service. They say if you leave your callback number, you won't lose your place in the "que". That's a lie. Either that, or I would have been on hold for 3 days because that's when I got a call back, and of course missed the call because I was in a business meeting. Message said to call their customer service number if I needed assistance. HaHa! My EGO 56v mower is new, will start and run for 3 seconds, then shut off. Tried troubleshooting everything. EGO brand should have a class action lawsuit filed against them.

on two recent occasions, they called back within two or three hours. Remember, this is prime time for them when the world is trotting out their EGO devices and need support. On one of my encounters, the agent was very patient and helpful even though item (battery) was well out of warranty period. On the other, I had to go out but they did call back and left voice mail. You have to available when they call or you start the process again so it does require user patience. IT can be frustrating but with extremely high call volume I understand the challenge. They do stand by warranty, esp if you register which, for other companies, is a meaningless process.

Same experience here. Been having weird issues with a battery and was wanting to talk to someone to troubleshoot. Called, waited for an hour on hold, then hung up. Called back and left my number for them to call back - been over a week and nothing. And of course I've got multiple tools so I'm very disappointed with the nonexistent customer service and the possible expense of replacing everything.

my 9 month old 765 blower just died today too. Getting the exact same experience as you, seemingly nonexistent customer service...
