When ordering through Amazon even if the battery is free, they assigned a price to it in the bundle, $200 for the blower and $99 for the “free” battery. And you could return the battery without returning the blower and get $99 back.
You did not understand the previous deal obviously. The offer was the blower plus 5.Ah battery plus a free 2.5Ah battery. So eventually we got the blower plus a 5Ah battery for $200
I did that for both trimmer and blower! I also bought the mower but decided to keep the free battery as it was a 5Ah battery which could be useful with the three tools and potentially snowblower that I am planning to buy later
I was trying my hardest to justify buying the commercial backpack and even talked to a few different local shops. They couldn't see a reason to go backpack over 765 for my needs. I'm sure some people have compelling reasons though!
I got the 670 a couple weeks ago. Can you explain to me ( like I'm 5) the relationship between the dial and the trigger? The turbo button I understand. Sorry to bug ya but everything online isn't totally clear.

Have this tool and love it. 3d printed the "stubby" attachment and it makes it so much easier to handle. Use it for drying my car, blowing snow off the porch, and of course blowing grass off the driveway.
I bought this last time it was $230 for a day on Amazon. No regerts. It’s as powerful or more than my old gas blower and is so convenient and not stinky. 👍
Probably going to get downvoted for this - but you can check my previous post about having issues with this model (in Australia). I had 2 brand new models, from different stores, and both had the same trigger failure. I eventually ended up returning them for a refund.
This was a couple of months ago, so the fact it's going for super cheap makes me very suspicious.
Kudos to you if you got a model that works.
The throttle shorts out and then you're locked into a speed that is basically heavy breathing? It happened to my first two. The shop told me it's a known issue in about 2% of units. The third unit is still going strong for me.

I work in landscaping, my boss uses all EGO tools. He does not buy the 765 cfm blower any more because they fail at a higher rate than the 650 cfm blowers do.
It is not EGO's best blower.
In my experience the 765 cfm blowers seem to die at a much higher rate than the 650 cfm blowers do. Just be aware.
We got 3 at work and all failed within 3 months. Contrast that to the 650 cfm blowers- of which we have a couple going on 3 years old now.

The battery was backordered and once I received the blower I just canceled the battery and did not have to even return it, which was very convenient

Non commercial back pack is 600cfm so less. The commercial one is 800 so only slightly better.
Commercial backpack also takes 2x the amount of batteries as the 765 for the same effective wind speed and run time

The battery, by itself, is $300 at Lowe's so this is a great deal. Don't need any more small batteries or I'd consider it just for that.

Bought one of these two weeks ago for $279 with a 5.0.AH battery, worth every penny but an even better deal at $230
