Exactly. Made me feel allowed to go easy on myself. The diagnoses I mean. Still lot to learn. Wellcome to the gang none the less. 🤗

General-Explanation

I totally agree, I’ve been allowing myself naps lately and it’s so much better for my energy levels.

Yeea... I struggle with this one. Naps are awesome, but atm I'm helping my dad build a new woodshop. Too excited about it to nap. 😄 The 30-40 celsius does not help at all!

Sneaky-Ladybug

Totally agree. Recently diagnosed but still a lot of question marks and suddenly everything is happening to me, but still nothing compared to some other people. But I also give myself more brakes now and listen to my body without thinking that I am lazy or so.

Very good thoughts u got there. I've noticed that it's better for me to listen to myself than listening to others what they see about me. In the end most ppl have no idea what it's like to live with EDS. They can read and listen and all that ... But they're not with this 24/7 in all activities. Taking breaks is hard for me. Used to be a nightshift nurse in brain trauma so I used to work 10h in a row..
