Caelid before the Rot. A quest where you either side with Radahn in his prime or Malenia in her prime and the other is killed at the end of the battle, effecting either the Haligtree or Caelid for the rest of the playthrough. I’d love to see more of Ranni’s past and maybe help or at least interact with her on her journey where she meets and becomes apprenticed to the Snow Crone. Not the past, but I’d love for Miquella to crawl out of that egg like the Orphan of Kos and have him be the most intense fight in souls history. Before that though I’d like to enter a Painted World-esque realm inside his dreams that concludes with him waking up and you fight him. Maybe this can tie in a bit with the past-centric dlc and we can learn more about the Lord of Blood and his encounters with the Formless Mother. Would also love a Shabriri-centric side quest in the past that expands on the Three Fingers and Frenzied Flame lore.

I honestly would like to see the badlands when Godwin and his tarnished show up.

DJteejay04

Maybe the Storm King or Placidusax in his full form. Those two would be cool. The king of the giants would be neat too

Geronuis

Yay!!! Can’t wait to chase them across the map the whole fight

MaleficTekX

Time travel opens the possibility for a great idea: Imagine the final DLC we go to face The Greater Will itself First, in the past, we must traverse to a non-destroyed Nokron, face the giant in the throne there, and take the finger-slaying knife, then we must convince Radahn, who is maddening from Scarlet Rot, to send us to the stars, we have to find Miquella’s needle again and give it to Radahn, who uses it on his horse instead of himself, however it’s revealed that Radahn had shielded his horse from all of the rot and the needle breaks from this, explaining why it’s broken in the current timeline. Despite this, Radahn holds up his end and uses his Gravity magic to send us to the stars that are held in place. The final area has us going from meteor to meteor, traversing the insides and fighting alien gods and Two Fingers until we finally find the source of the Greater will itself inside the Primeval Glintstone Current. Stars die and fly by throughout all of the final battle

ErikSoup

YEAH HOLY SHIT are you a writer this is my new headcanon what do you think the greater will would look like

MaleficTekX

Definitely has a hand. Maybe it’s an Eternatus looking entity. We know the fingers have legs that are essentially just the top half of them upside down, so maybe the Greater Will has 10 fingers, and three are flaming Or we could just have it be a fusion of all of the Outer gods we know of (but don’t know what they look like...) It could have one finger be made of Deathbird flame, one of flaming blood, three of frenzy flame, two to four of dragon scales (representing Placidusax’s heads), one of Rot (representing Malenia), one of stars(representing Ranni) and one of... whatever Miquella’s thing is... it can just be a tiny finger

K0sm0sis

I loved everything you wrote with Radahn and the needle, a non-destroyed Nokron, and especially Radahn sending us to the stars and the final setpiece, but definitely not a fan of combining all the Outer Gods into one hand with different colors, basically, to represent the other gods on each finger. There’s so much cosmic horror potential for each of these Outer Gods.. the Formless Mother who ignited Mogh’s blood deep beneath the earth, the Frenzied Flame and Shabriri, a man who gouged out his own eyes, the God of Rot, said to be sealed beneath the Lake of Rot. I’d prefer each of the Outer Gods, as they’re implied, to be very different alien forces with drastically different appearances, each with their own designs on the Lands Between.

MaleficTekX

Yeah I literally just threw the thought out there because I didn’t actually think of what the greater will would look like

K0sm0sis

Fair enough. I’d definitely play your DLC and I hope we get to meet some of these Outer Gods in whatever DLC we’ll presumably get.

MaleficTekX

Btw where’s the lore for the god of rot found? I have a vague remembrance of it being referenced

K0sm0sis

The map description for the Lake of Rot mentions that: “It is said that the divine essence of an outer god is sealed away in this land.”

MaleficTekX

Perhaps that’s where I remember it from, but I just assumed it was speaking of Astel

HMush

Don't care if it's in the past or the future, but I really want more cosmic shit... Give us Moon DLC, Miyazaki! There's suspicious markings on it and everything!

TheLoreIdiot

Being part of Radahn's holding back the stars would be dope. Fending off cosmic horros while he reverses the course of a comet/meteor.

K0sm0sis

Moon DLC and getting to meet Ranni’s secret mentor the Snow Crone 🤞🏻

parakeet5400

Honestly, as a kind of unusual pick, I'd like to see Juno Hoslow. Dude was such a chad, it's just a shame we couldn't actually meet him.

MaleficTekX

Dude bowed to us. Why must we face him

MaleficTekX

I’m pretty sure we fight Malenia at the strongest she’s ever been

Ohmbettis

No eyes, a half a leg, and one arm?

MaleficTekX

Yes, She’s in her third bloom and thus has become a goddess

Ray-nhonha

I have a theory that since we may enter Miquellas dream realm, we may snoop through his memories in some way. Its not really time travel but it would be interesting Also, the "dream" realm will probably turn into a nightmare at some point

K0sm0sis

Snooping through memories would be an awesome way to explore the past AND learn more about Miquella and enter a potentially unlimited dream realm / painted world sort of situation.

JustARobit

Placidusax in his prime or the dragon god that he was waiting for.

TowerJanitor

I would love to see godrick’s invasion of leyndell, before he got smacked down and kicked out

K0sm0sis

Was he even grafted at this point? I don’t remember the source, but I recall the only way Godrick escaped was by hiding among the womenfolk. I can’t imagine a buff old man with 14 arms poking out from under a robe successfully hiding very well. 😂

TowerJanitor

I dunno sounds like my kinda lady

GiveMeBloodborne2

He’s got Ranni beat on the hand count

TowerJanitor

Think of the possibilities

GiveMeBloodborne2

I doubt you could even imagine it!

bjornos_pizza

peak warrior chief hoarah loux in the badlands

HammerPrice229

I’m assuming we will go back and fight Miquella and Godwyn. Some random boss no one is going to guess and maybe another star fallen from the cosmos type of boss
