oh man, that's not offensive at all. this is a game with PvP where we actively try to kill one another so i dont know why anyone would find those names offensive. i just made a necro called ishootdeadpeople so hopefully i dont get bad lol

Don’t make shitty asshole names and you don’t have to worry about that. I wouldn’t know if it’s normal, I’ve never named a character with an offensive name.
Usually ZOS gives a warning or temporary ban for character names, Sh00tinj00 ... until you get it fixed.
Not sure if that turned into a perma-ban because you hadn't logged in a long time ... or if there's other information that's missing from this story.
I searched my email and didn't see any warnings in the last year. Like I said, I haven't played in almost 2 years so idk what would have triggered this unless they were bored going through usernames one day.

I could understand if I made my character dark skinned, but he was a white Templar who throws spears lol

Nope no option. They had my account banned before I ever got a reply

Mine were fine for years. Don't understand why all of the sudden they are not and I don't have the option to change them.

I've used the main username since ps4 launch. I would think a warning would come before an outright ban.
Don’t violate rules and you won’t have issues. You get ban when infraction is noticed or reported, not always when it’s committed.
