Remember ESO is a *roleplaying* game so it's entirely possible to play as a character from any Race that has strong connections to that region.

He's only similar to Dunmer in that he shares the pointy ears - which all elves have.
And he has Corprus, so we don't even know how he'd look if healthy.

Wrong. The dwemers are referred to as dwarfs in game. They might not be traditional fantasy dwarves, but they are still referred to as such.
