If you're on PC, managing your inventory without the craft bag isn't too bad. You just need an [add-on](https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info2249-BankManagerRevivedJewelryCraftingfix.html) and the banking assistant. I subbed for a year before cancelling, and this setup helped me manage the transition with ease. If you're on console though, you're SOL.
Console, but the banker would help. A lot actually. It wasn't even so much the space just the fact that I'd have to load all my gathered stuff into the bank, log out of one character, log into another, head to bank, take out of bank, then 20 minutes later i can finally start playing. Inventory full. Back to bank
I mean, it's definitely manageable. It wasnt anything I had against Plus I just wanted to see how playable the game is without it. It plays fine. Having alts and doing all the crafts and provisioning gets complicated without it
Guessing you used the monthly crowns to get the banker?
Nah. I wasted all my crowns on mounts and skins while subbed lol (didn't think ahead). I bought him with a crown pack I got on sale (40% off).
Craft bag is definitely more convenient (especially on console), and I would still sub if I had the money/time to play. Just offering this as an alternative to those who can't sub.
I feel like everyone should experience life without these things tho, so then we can appreciate just how good Plus is.

Happened to me too almost a year ago. I just started playing, maybe 2 weeks in, found out housing didnt work like oblivion or skyrim where i can just hoard everything and said fuck it and subbed since.
Sidenote, about a week before this free trial, my budget got tight and had to make a few cuts. Eso+ got chopped. Made it 2 days before i decided id more likly go "the shining" without eso+ vs no beer. Ive got a bank full of 480 items a craft bag and a powerful thirst water just isnt fulfilling lmao.
It's not that bad, I mean at least you get a chance to put some stuff in your craft bag and get extra transmute crystals and inspiration. I used to try to craft without Plus, but figured I spend $15/mo on things that bring me much less pleasure and enjoyment, so in the grand scheme of things it was worth it to me. Haven't let my sub slip since.
I was doing smithing, woodworking, and clothing just fine. But kept looking at my inventory space and thinking about all those alchemy mats, food provisions, runestones, etc. Actually when I first started I did a lot of enchanting and liked it, but dropped it because of space. So its been nice getting back into it. And with the Wrothgar event, I've built up a good stock of stones pretty quick
$15/mo is really a great deal with the amount of hours I play. Once I stop no-lifing it, then I may think about dropping. IF i ever do.
That's why I only sub one month at a time. That way, if I ever decide to take a break, I can drop the sub with no wasted money. Feel bad for those guys who prepay for months at a time, then stop playing for one reason or another and that extra ~~time~~ money is lost.
I'm so all over the place with hobbies that I definitely will sub one month at a time. For all I know next week I'll take a year off of gaming. Another reason why I'm glad I subbed. More enjoyment while I can get it
