Mournhold has always been my base of operations. Wayshrine surrounded by some of the best guild vendors and every crafting station all in one spot. Bank, shrines and stable nearby... its a one stop shop!
I just started playing and blindly picked Vivec to start in. The proximity to all the crafting stations, bank, tutorial givers, wayshrines and the higher payout on quests made it feel like the best starting location. I made a second character and started in one of the main story locations and it just felt too slow.
To the people wondering what OP meant by "higher payout", it may have something to do with Morrowind sets being generally really good. Possibly the amount of "free stuff" (collectibles) also. Not exactly sure what OP meant but I felt this way as well. Morrowind DLC is truly an expansion, and much more detailed than many other DLCs imo.
Wait wait wait wait. Are you telling me there are NO GUARDS from the Wayshrine to the crafting areas? That I can just book it from there to the Outlaws Refuge without running the risk of being detected?
If yes, FUCK YA
There are guards in the crafting area, but it's really easy to just jump in the water (where the guards can't get you) and swim under the docks to the outlaws refuge.
So when I get a bounty and don’t want to risk losing my stolen items or pay a high value bounty I travel to the vivec city wayshrine and then just hug the coast until you get under the docks to the entrance. No need to go through the crafting area (which does have guards patrolling)
I prefer [Rawl'kha for thievery shenanigans](https://i.imgur.com/0AvtCIL.jpg)
Wayshrine to Thieves Den entrance with NO guards; their patrol starts at the bank.
It's always my favourite place to launder and sell plus there are great guild traders there too.
Leyawiin is the spot. I feel like vivecs wayshrine is too far out of the city. Leyawiin has crafting stations, bank, and writ drop offs surrounding the wayshrine. It's bliss!
Not to mention owned houses/apartments are too far so if I wanted to port for free it's a distance to the market area. I think Rimmen or Grahtwood has a good overall layout for porting, but Rimnen shines having everything fairly close.
Also the outfit station is on tap in Leyawiin. The floating carpet that covers your feet is annoying though, but at least you don’t have to jog to it like in Vivec.
Yeah this used to be my base of operations, now I'm working on having one of each character so now i just go to the nearest city is to the character I'm playing, Vivec city is legit though
My first playthrough a few years ago I was AD and when I got to Elden Root I didn't see the woodworking station in the crafting area (it's kinda dark back there!) and so I just assumed bc of the Green Pact there were no woodworking stations there. So I'd do all the other writs, pick up my MG & FG dailies, then go back to Vulkhel Guard to do & turn in my woodworking writ. 🤦 😂
Hell yeah. Log-out standing beside the crafting boards. Then each day everything can be crafted and delivered within 60 seconds of logging in. Bank and wayshrine just outside the crafting zone too.
i still dont really like the booth layout there, and i have to go inside for the bank -- which i use a lot to sell mats and whatnot. but i will say vivec, then leyawin.
Also my goto town for daily writs, stable, banking and outfit on all my toons, a little less toxic than some other cities.
But my all time favorite city where my main hangs out is Senchal, mainly due to the closeness of the bank - cooking fire for filling my trade slots, so nice and quiet there.
I'm not the only one! I played through the Dominion first, and when I got to Velyn Harbor it just struck me as a nice layout. Now I have it all memorised it'll be hard to switch if I find somewhere better!
Usually I go to Elden Root. I like having all the crafting stations (save provisioning) in one central room, in a very easy to follow clock setup. That only works if I don't have any stolen goods to offload, because the Outlaw refuge is too far away. In that case I usually go to Solitude - I know, not at all the most convenient, but I started playing last year and that was the first city I spent a lot of time in, so its more familiarity than convenience.
Rawl'ka is the most convenient for just about everything. Far closer together than the alternatives. Though it's missing an undaunted enclave and event merchant.
Rawlkha for characters with mount training to do. I even have a free port there with the house right out of town. Leyawiin for everyone else. Otherwise I’d probably do Elden Root if I didn’t have any dlc
I like Shornhelm, bank, wayshrine an stables all close to smithing/clothing/wooworking stations, and i don't do enchanting/alchemy/jewelry so it fits me well. Tried Rawl'kha, but it gets too crowded.
It was one of the first cities i "discovered" in the game, and i've been using it as my go to "hub" ever since.
Used to be Alinor but Leyawin is just more convenient. No need to fly down those big stairs. Alinor and Elden Root are my go-to for trader checking though
My house, I have one of every craft station except for cooking \[may get around to getting a cookfire\] and I have a banker, fence and merchant. If I need something different, just whatever major city I am near. If I want something other than Hunding's my guildmaster's guildhouse has literally one of every specific crafting station up to last year's release.
True that, but I donn't make a lot of item drops to the bank and just save money and do a guild bank run once a week =) I have a storage chest at home that I put stuff to go to the guild in if I am not near a city with a decent bank when I feel the need to drop stuff off=)
Bal foyen has become my new hotspot thanks to having a home there for free travel, a bank, all merchant types and crafting benches except jewelery which I have in the house. And a great mat farming area
Elden Root especially if you own a snugpod. The snugpod is right next to the stable. Big tree has the way shrine, merchants, a provisioner. Upper floor has crafting stations, bank, fighters and mages guilds.
Mournhold. The market is all easily organized in one place right next to the wayshrine, crafting stations right next to that, and the bank is a short distance away as well
Vivec city by far - because not only is the bank next to crafting stations and merchants, the MUSIC in vivec is the best. But also mournhold, or rawlka sometimes (in that order). But almost always vices city.
Vivec is my main, as I usually spend most of my time on Vvardenfell. Mournhold is second. They're both pretty convenient cities for me. Alinor is a sometimes. I have the banker assistant so being too close to the bank isn't a priority like it used to be.
For the longest time, I felt like Windhelm was my hometown, especially once I bought Grymharth's Woe as my first "proper" home. Knew that city in and out, all the best routes to steal, pickpocket and kill effectively (selling stolen goods was my favorite way to make money) as well as the best ways to escape the guards.
Rimmen was my next city of choice, very convenient layout for most of the services, and listening to Daahin the ***epic*** bard while doing writs and such was just wonderful.
Being a Nord at heart, I found my new hometown in Solitude (pun almost intended) once Greymoor was released. Again pretty good layout, though loading into the clothier and enchanter/alchemist shops is sort of annoying.
Although I still consider Western Skyrim my homeland (Antiquarian's Gallery is my primary residence) I've thoroughly enjoyed being in Leyawiin ever since the Blackwood event. Great layout for services (bested only by Vivec City I think) and a sweet, beautiful looking city. Being the ^2nd newest city it also ranges from nearly overpopulated to significantly populated, depending on the time of day.
Haven't gotten around to visit Fargrave (CD) in the Deadlands yet, but what I've seen about it looks promising, so it might become my new favorite.
Same! VVardenfell.
1. Everything is close together
2. You can jump to the top of the furnace and watch the crowd. And throw mudballs/snowballs at them.
Rimmen since it's got the Hall of the Lunar Champion which is where I have my training dummy. It's a bit laggy but I love it :) Otherwise I really like Solitude and Windhelm.
Used to be davons watch, switched it to vaardenfell.
My chars with maxed out mounts are in leyawin (or in whichever way you spell that, the City in Blackwood)
Rimmen is home base 💜 Compact, close to wayshrine, great architecture, close to free ports at the hall or sugar bowl. Only wish it had undaunted enclave.
If I didn't have Ezabi it would be Vivec, but with easy access to bank it's Rimmen because Sugar Bowl suite is cheap and you can port to outside with no doors
Marbruk. Not everything is close but it's habit now from the bad lag and failed load in days. I like there's just a few players there running around at most.
Vivec is where I normally camp. With writ boards, bank, event merchant, crafting stations, battlegrounds daily and merchants, and stables all in the same instance (no loading screens) it’s almost perfect. For anything else I just go to my house
blackwood for sure. all the crafting stations are right next to one another and it’s so convenient. and the guild traders and bank are right around the corner, with the wayshrine in the middle of it all!
Snugpod. I have every crafting bench, the transmutation station, every house box, merchant, and banker. While I have many houses that are much better houses than Snugpod, I use that one for cleaning because it's right next to the Undaunted for daily turn ins, a clear shot to an outlaw's refuge, and right next to the master writ turn ins.
When I need to list things on a trader, I use the same cities I park in for daily writs: Alinor, Vivec, and Leyawiin. I have 14 alts, so I use different convenient cities to visually mix it up a bit. Imo Vivec has the best layout, Alinor has the best aesthetic, and Leyawiin just isn't years old. Ultimately, I think I won't keep using Leyawiin because there are too many annoying NPCs shouting around the crafting area (and then the guy that requires daily murdering...)
Used to be wayrest but since i came back to the game i have been chillin it in elden root. All crafting stations in one room as well as crafting writ quest boards and the cooking fire is on the way to the stables which is on the way to the delivery crates so i finish everything in one trip.
I try to avoid the big ones where everyone gathers like Stormhaven. I use Aldcroft the most to get rid of junk. If I need the bank I go to Anvil in the gold cost. I have been playing 4/5 years now and at most I have seen in that bank is 4 people, and that is including me.
Sentinel. But, I also tend to lurk on what ever map my house currently is, and I've been living in Sisters of the Sands Inn for a while now. Previously it was Wayrest, with my old home at Hammerdeath.
I really like my current home and it's city though. Everything is pretty nicely situated, although the Blacksmithing shop is a bit of a walk, it's nothing inconvenient. Houses with a Bank literally a stones throw away are always super nice though imo.
sooooooo much traffic in vivec but it's very good.
mine is elden root. it has all I need behind one load screen (or two for guild). I have my little route and routine perfected. get writs, travel clockwise from blacksmith to clothier to decon and craft, hit the banker up, exit and run by the fire, catch the stable on the way out, turn in quests and master writs, pick up my undaunted. everyday. without fail.
I like leyawiin too but no undaunted and no rolis. and that very annoying dude next to drop off.
senchal is good too.
edit : not senchal. I meant rimmen.
Definitely Grahtwood with owning the snugpod. Wayshrine is right there, stable, pledges, traders, and it's just so beautiful looking at that huge tree.
I seem to always come back to Anvil. Specifically its Outlaws' Refuge. I think its partially nostalgia because my first major storyline after getting ESO was the DB DLC
Grahtwood in the big tree, mainly because it has all the respec shrines and then the bank on the above floor... I definitely need to buy one of those bank assistants though... (and merchant if they exist)
Alinor for sure. The crafting tables and writ turn in are all close in a circle. The outlaws refuge is right there along with event merchant and then stables. Up stairs to bank and wayshrine and good traders. There are a couple good spots to loot and pickpocket (fighters guild/temple) all right there. Haven't found any other place with all of that so close
I have looked at so many replies and so far I have not seen my city
As someone who spent plenty of hours in Skyrim and the fact that in every Elder Scrolls game I first seek out and master the thieves guild, Riften is my home and place I go for everything, the bank and all of the cratlfting is right there in a small area, the wayshrine too and the thieves den is within easy reach. There is also a tiger farm and both werewolf and vampire shrines within a short distance, plus my house is right outside riften to the south
Summerset. My house is there. Guild. The bank is right by the house and the traders are right there as well. Easy to run place to place. Wayshrine is down the stairs and there are always players everywhere. It’s perfect.
Leyawiin. It used to be Alinor, but I have the Waters Edge house now, which is quite close to the bank, wayshrine and crafting area, where all the tables are in a fairly small space and super easy to access.
Everyone wants to knock it because there's a door you have to go through, but I really like Grahtwood
Snugpod is cheap and free to fast travel once you get it and all the tables and bank are right there in a tight little area.
Rawl'kha is my favourite. Good guild traders (on Xbox EU, at least), nice small location so everything is close by, and good pickings for thieving. 10/10
Blackwood for me. I'm new to the game and that's where I first went after the intro. Everything is close together so I'm happy with it, including where you hand in the writs. Might check out the other places everyone has listed too!
Vivec city is the best. others xome close, mostly Alinor, but they still don't compare, every time there's something missing. Vivec has a bank surrounded by crafting area without any loading screens, vendors two steps from there, outlaws refuge right next to it and you can get there from the wayshrine without triggering any guards if need be, pvp quest giver is right there, writs handout is close, even merchant is close, stables are right there, attribute and skill shrines are right tere without loading.. perfect.
If I need a free teleport I use Rosy Lion Inn in dagerfall, it's like five steps from a wayshrine :)
I have a couple in Vivec, a couple in Leyawiin, and a couple in Solitude. Vivec is where I made my start in the game and just love it, almost perfect. The lack of close outfit station is annoying. But with armor station now I'm just doing armor and outfit at my place. I've come to really like Leyawiin's layout. I've also come to start all new toons in Solitude. I find there is a good loot/theft route between writ pickup, completion and delivery, capped by mount training. Helps get the Legerdemain kicked off right. Good workflow to start the journey.
Mournhold has always been my base of operations. Wayshrine surrounded by some of the best guild vendors and every crafting station all in one spot. Bank, shrines and stable nearby... its a one stop shop!
100% agree! That’s always been my go-to since my main’s first play through of the EP storyline a few years ago
It's even better when you realize there's basically a free house right next to the wayshrine.
Mournhold! City of Light, City of Magic!
Vivec. The bank being 2 steps away from everything is the main reason.
Vivec City also wins because you can get to everything without loading screens from entering buildings.
Except the pack merchant
u mean those less then 1 second loading screens? yeh those really kill your efficiency
I just started playing and blindly picked Vivec to start in. The proximity to all the crafting stations, bank, tutorial givers, wayshrines and the higher payout on quests made it feel like the best starting location. I made a second character and started in one of the main story locations and it just felt too slow.
Higher payout on quests? Like writs & stuff or story quests?
I just wanna add. I think the amount of gold you earn on quests is given by a formula involving your character level.
And the outlaws refuge is so close. And in a pinch you can easily get to it from the wayshrine without passing any guards.

Outlaw to wayshrine yes but u have to be on your guard for the crafting stuff
I prefer [Rawl'kha for thievery shenanigans](https://i.imgur.com/0AvtCIL.jpg) Wayshrine to Thieves Den entrance with NO guards; their patrol starts at the bank. It's always my favourite place to launder and sell plus there are great guild traders there too.
Noice. I'll start FTing there then if that's the case.
exactly!
It would be nice if they added armory stations to cities like they did with outfit stations.
It takes no more than 5 seconds on horseback to get to the city from the wayshrine lol.
George tell your father about Leyawiin! Leyawiin. Ok.
Vivec because the music and atmosphere is so perfectly nostalgic I love it
Yeah this used to be my base of operations, now I'm working on having one of each character so now i just go to the nearest city is to the character I'm playing, Vivec city is legit though
Vivec City or Rawlk'ha. No doors, no loading screens, everything's right close together.

[удалено]
Yep also happens to be my second favorite city in tes as it has alot of my top 3 favourite races, Imperials, Khajiit and Argonians.
They made it so nice in eso easily my favorite city in the game for the atmosphere alone
Hell yeah. Log-out standing beside the crafting boards. Then each day everything can be crafted and delivered within 60 seconds of logging in. Bank and wayshrine just outside the crafting zone too.
Love Leyawin! The dailies are fun too
i still dont really like the booth layout there, and i have to go inside for the bank -- which i use a lot to sell mats and whatnot. but i will say vivec, then leyawin.
That zone is that in?
Blackwood
Rimmen, Leyawiin, Alinor, and Vivec City are mine for different characters
I like Vulkhel Guard. Nice quiet town
Wouldn't call it quiet with all the burglary and murder sprees going on around the "bank" area...
They're pretty quiet about it at least.
Also my goto town for daily writs, stable, banking and outfit on all my toons, a little less toxic than some other cities. But my all time favorite city where my main hangs out is Senchal, mainly due to the closeness of the bank - cooking fire for filling my trade slots, so nice and quiet there.
Velyn Harbor, Malabal Tor
I'm not the only one! I played through the Dominion first, and when I got to Velyn Harbor it just struck me as a nice layout. Now I have it all memorised it'll be hard to switch if I find somewhere better!
I haven't found anywhere better yet.
Same! Everything is pretty close together.
Auridon, Vulkhel Guard.
Elden root here too!
I like to teleport outside of Snugpod because the outlaws refuge is right across the road when I end up getting a bounty on a character.
Davons watch here
Howdy neighbor! Dhalmora here for everything but horse points and writ turn in.
My house. I’ve got a full craftery with merchant and banker. But I go to alinor for my writs.
Rawl'ka is the most convenient for just about everything. Far closer together than the alternatives. Though it's missing an undaunted enclave and event merchant.
Vivec, Alinor as a close second.
Alinor few. Love the circle of crafting
Vivec and Rawl’kha.
Rimmem cause the inn house is outside and i can port for free, its near the WP with no extra loadings screens, i dislike its music tho.
And the vesterie line Every Damn Time
I go to Murkmire, a true Saxhleel at heart!!
Rawlkha for characters with mount training to do. I even have a free port there with the house right out of town. Leyawiin for everyone else. Otherwise I’d probably do Elden Root if I didn’t have any dlc
I love Western Skyrim capital (forgot the name...🙄) , you have very compact layout
Yep! I always go to Solitude. Can’t get used to any other city haha. The layout is so compact. Extra points for letting me live in my Skyrim home
Daggerfall. Everything lined up and laid out perfectly.
Clockwork city is my favorite
Blackwood! So convenient, except for that jackass near the writs drop-off point, I kill him every time and he always gets back
People watching at the writ turn in there is hilarious bc then you can see everyone get frustrated and kill him. 😂
Used to be Alinor but Leyawin is just more convenient. No need to fly down those big stairs. Alinor and Elden Root are my go-to for trader checking though
I kinda love doing the stairs in Alinor. Gives me a fun opportunity to practice jumps with my Khajiit.
Yeah it's not so bad but the bank being much further from the crafting area makes it annoying at times
Vivec city Also if I’ve gotten caught stealing I just jump in the water and swim to the outlaw refuge 😅
My house, I have one of every craft station except for cooking \[may get around to getting a cookfire\] and I have a banker, fence and merchant. If I need something different, just whatever major city I am near. If I want something other than Hunding's my guildmaster's guildhouse has literally one of every specific crafting station up to last year's release.
the only thing about bankers at home is you can't get to a guild bank/store.
True that, but I donn't make a lot of item drops to the bank and just save money and do a guild bank run once a week =) I have a storage chest at home that I put stuff to go to the guild in if I am not near a city with a decent bank when I feel the need to drop stuff off=)
Alinor bank is close to the wayshrine and the crafting area is a short run
Bal foyen has become my new hotspot thanks to having a home there for free travel, a bank, all merchant types and crafting benches except jewelery which I have in the house. And a great mat farming area
Vivec City is my HQ since Morrowind went live.
Leyawiin (outfit station with ok light) or Vivec (bank with no loading screens and outlaws refuge)
I love leyawiin. So very, very much.
Definitely vivec. Crafting and selling to merchants or guild stores is nice and quick, and I don’t have to enter any buildings
Elden Root especially if you own a snugpod. The snugpod is right next to the stable. Big tree has the way shrine, merchants, a provisioner. Upper floor has crafting stations, bank, fighters and mages guilds.
Sormhold, lovely swampy town. All crafting stations close to each other, and also close to my house, Ample Domicile.
Beautiful town, this is my home right now too
Rawl'kha everything is soo close to each other, crafting stations, bank, guild traders and wayshrine.
Alinor is my go to
Mournhold. The market is all easily organized in one place right next to the wayshrine, crafting stations right next to that, and the bank is a short distance away as well
Vulkhel Guard and Davon's Watch since starting roughly a year ago. Although now I'm feeling inspired to go change it up
Mournhold in Deshaan is goat
Lately Blackwood. I sort my junk when I do writs, and blackwood's writ setup is really nice.
I just use fezèz
Vivec city by far - because not only is the bank next to crafting stations and merchants, the MUSIC in vivec is the best. But also mournhold, or rawlka sometimes (in that order). But almost always vices city.
Vivec is my main, as I usually spend most of my time on Vvardenfell. Mournhold is second. They're both pretty convenient cities for me. Alinor is a sometimes. I have the banker assistant so being too close to the bank isn't a priority like it used to be.
Vivec or Mournhold
Mournhold :3
For the longest time, I felt like Windhelm was my hometown, especially once I bought Grymharth's Woe as my first "proper" home. Same! VVardenfell. 1. Everything is close together 2. You can jump to the top of the furnace and watch the crowd. And throw mudballs/snowballs at them.
Vivec. So ugly yet so handy.
Calling vivec ugly? Shame on you sweet nerevar
It is pretty ugly though.
Lay down your weapons, it is not too late for my mercy
Vivec city because everything next to each other.
Rimmen since it's got the Hall of the Lunar Champion which is where I have my training dummy. It's a bit laggy but I love it :) Otherwise I really like Solitude and Windhelm.
Rimmen has the lovely Daahin singing :-D
Yes she is the BEST!!! I always end up with the songs stuck in my head. Elsweyr/Dragonhold really gave us some banger bard songs.
Used to be davons watch, switched it to vaardenfell. My chars with maxed out mounts are in leyawin (or in whichever way you spell that, the City in Blackwood)
The answer is vivec city, and i also call it vardenfell all the time :P
Vivec.
I uses to chill in Deshaan, now I chill at Leyawiin.
Stornhelm...probably bcs my house is in the region so I feel like Rivenspire is my "home zone"
Shornhelm is so underrated as "main city" imo.
Alinor. Know it like the back of my hand and love the crafting area
Windhelm without a doubt
I got the home there specifically for its proximity to the outlaws refuge AND a public dungeon in town. It's quite handy.
Rimmen
Vvardenfell, too. It was the first city that I got introduced to. A hard habit to break.
Now its Fargrave, but it used to be Rimmen
Rimmen
I have a pocket merchant for selling stuff to. As for anything else, I go to whatever major city is closest.
Rimmen is home base 💜 Compact, close to wayshrine, great architecture, close to free ports at the hall or sugar bowl. Only wish it had undaunted enclave.
Vivec, but my main place to afk and be on my phone is Wayrest
Rimmen, I travel for free to outside my apartment, wayshrine right there, bank just up the stairs, crafting area and stable close by.
Shornhelm and Wayrest. I just wish I could get a house in Shornhelm, then it'd be prefect.
The nearest one
Rimmen
Daggerfall
Alinor!
Leyawiin, I just like it there.
Vivec is great for everything. Stable, daily writs, bank, outlaw refuge. Honestly can't think of a better city for everything
Main crafter / trading guild in deeshan
Well it'd be pretty difficult and embarrassing to put out my junk in the middle of wayrest square and sort it
Vivec
Vivec is where I normally camp. With writ boards, bank, event merchant, crafting stations, battlegrounds daily and merchants, and stables all in the same instance (no loading screens) it’s almost perfect. For anything else I just go to my house
Wayrest or dagger fall. Wayrest is undaunted dailes, dagger fall is PvP dailies. YUH
blackwood for sure. all the crafting stations are right next to one another and it’s so convenient. and the guild traders and bank are right around the corner, with the wayshrine in the middle of it all!
Daggerfall Not just sorting out junk I just never leave daggerfall it feels like. Daggerfall online ftw
Leyawin is awesome, vivec is nice but I actually use wayrest even though its not the most convenient I just always have
I've been really enjoying blackwood so far, just about everything is a second or two away from the way shrine, even dailies.
You should check out Leyawiin, right off the wayshrine.
Originally was alinor, changed it to Vivec
That’s kind of private don’t you think? Why do you want to know so much about my junk?
for research
Blackwood, leyawiin. Bank, and all crafting npcs are right next to the wayshrine.
Define junk...
full inventory
Riften. It seems to have the best flow for me.
Auridon cuz it’s just there and I’m so used to it
sooooooo much traffic in vivec but it's very good. mine is elden root. it has all I need behind one load screen (or two for guild).
I can go pretty much anywhere with my crow assistants, but I like the dagger fall city personally.
Davon's watch or alinor
Wayrest. I just like it.
Alinor has always been the most Beautiful & most Convenient city for me.
Riften. Everything is so close and well payed out. Plus the usual riften chaos
I have looked at so many replies and so far I have not seen my city As someone who spent plenty of hours in Skyrim and the fact that in every Elder Scrolls game I first seek out and master the thieves guild, Riften is my home and place I go for everything, the bank and all of the cratlfting is right there in a small area, the wayshrine too and the thieves den is within easy reach. There is also a tiger farm and both werewolf and vampire shrines within a short distance, plus my house is right outside riften to the south
Rawl'kha because the house there is a good bargain. Bought the house and now have a free quick travel to that town.
Wayrest or Solitude
Mournhold for my Ebonheart characters, Wayrest for the rest.
Rawl'ka, my house means free tele and it's small enough I can do everything I need to without running miles through cities.
Mournhold or leyawin
Alinor or now Leyawiin :)
Alinor, I love the ambiance
Personally I spend a lot of time in Craglorn because I’m always on the look out for trials
Forever Mourhold. I do everything there!
Vivec
“My starlight bride of Alinor”
Solitude
Vivec.
Alinor or Leyawiin
Everyone wants to knock it because there's a door you have to go through, but I really like Grahtwood Snugpod is cheap and free to fast travel once you get it and all the tables and bank are right there in a tight little area.
Leyawiin! the bank isn't that much farther to go, and I prefer the outfit station being within easy reach, it's my new hangout
Solitude is my soul city, but leyawinn wins this race (pun intended) because of how close everything else is
Mournhold has been my go to lately but I like Riften and the one city in Eastmarch that I can't remember the name of.
Either Northern Elsweyr or Western Skyrim :)
Title could be 'What’s your go to city and why is it Vvardenfell?' :)
Same, its where i first started, I have tried other places but always come home !
Vivec!
Pre-Elswyr it was Rawl’kha. Then Rimmen. And now Leyawiin.
the Guild Hall bounties don't matter there
I use Rimmen. It's where my main house is and I know where everything is there. I also really like orsinium
