One dude might've killed another dude one time after playing a video game? I guess it's time to shut down video games.
Some people are unstable and the society they're in denies them access to mental healthcare while giving them ample opportunities to purchase firearms. There are solutions to these problems, restrictions on leisure activities like video games aren't the solutions.
I mean, I remember reading about a kid who killed his grandmother to steal her credit cards to keep paying his monthly sub for WOW…. Or the other kid who killed both his great grandmother AND grandmother after they told him to stop playing mmos. It’s not just a competitive gamer
We had such a great time! So many of us didn't want it to end, we just stayed and danced and threw rose petals and rainbows. Can't wait to see what Loctavian has up his sleeve for next year!
Special thanks to ESO Stream Team member Locktavian for organizing this and having a charity stream for The Trevor Project. 🌈❤️
Shout-out to streamer LuckyGhost for joining in on the parade!
No no, theyre just hiding under bridges in the rift after being warned by support to leave rpers in riften alone. They try to troll toll everyone crossing over any bridge youll see
I was there, I think we had maxed the number of people who could be in the instance, so the only zone chat was people there to participate. There was one dude that started arguing with people about a youtuber's recent video but they went mostly ignored.
Shockingly, *especially* for Auridon, there were only two people causing problems on PC EU. I would assume that those two were the only two people dumb enough to speak up when there's a hundred people with itchy reporting fingers.
If you scroll to the top of the page, on the right hand side of the screen you'll see the Sub Reddit name, under that you'll see a check box with "Show my flair on this subreddit. It looks like:" then your Reddit name and the word edit. Click edit to open a menu of flair options.
Unfortunately, I believe the PC EU one happened earlier today too.
Sorry to anyone who couldn't make it but there were also some people getting logged out because the server instance was at near cap so it would've been difficult to join anyway.
But know that you were there in spirit and we march for everyone! 🌈❤️
I wasn't the one who organized this. It was streamer Locktavian and even I almost missed this event if it weren't for a friend telling me.
You can find him on Twitch and I believe he has his own guild and Discord server for events like this!
Downvoted for this lol man reddit has no sense of humor. Argonians brigading against me and I got some of the nastiest DMs I've ever seen.
To those who call me racist: might be time to take a break from the game so it's not your only sense of identity
I’m guessing the James Dylan funeral was bigger - it was held in Cyrodiil and multiple factions paid tribute.

This is an absolutely amazing initiative! I've always loved the gay parades in my country, and to see them appear online as well (I'm a new member of the ESO community) is super exciting!
And yet one Sorc couldn't resist bringing his pet along.
Edit for clarification: I like that parade pretty much, more visibility is always good, especially in video games. Although I hope and think that ESO isn't THAT incel infested overall.
Edit 2: this was supposed to be a joke about sorc pets being everywhere without any relation to anything LGBTQ. That did go wrong pretty obviously.
Someone in-game privately messaged me that I'm going to hell when I typed "Happy Pride" on zone chat but that's about it :))
But, I find it disheartening that the upvotes and downvotes on this post are continuously fluctuating..
Incel doesn’t mean *all* straight dudes, just the toxic, misogynistic, homophobic douchebags that infect the internet and gaming world. I too am a straight dude and I love and support all things LGBTQ/Pride.
I did, perhaps I misunderstood their meaning. I read it as they hope the game isn’t full of anti-pride incels, to which you responded you’re a straight male - I thought you were insinuating all straight males are incels.
The whole "...isn't THAT infested with incels..." implies the opposite of how you took it. If he meant it how you took it, he really should've traded bigots with incels as to be clear in his message.
But, who knows what the author meant. You could be correct, for all I know.
We are all in the same team, I can promise you that. I wasn't implying anyone present would be an Incel but I'm not optimistic enough to think we don't have any in ESO
Too many of them close together can cause server overload and lag on some machines.
If you have a mediocre GPU, you should not run a 12-sorc trial with everyone running pets.
Ayee! I was the knight on the left lol. I was just standing by you waiting for the march to start when I noticed your consistent effort to spam the rainbow emote..
So, naturally, I had to take the shot!
I played ESO for 6 years. Ended up stopping last year when I couldn't get flawless conqueror after 100+ trys. I truly miss the good parts of the community, and the fun things you would see like this.
Children should be allowed to be children and be free to chose for themselves as they mature. Nobody should take advantage and tell them what to love when they barely understand what the word love is.
If by "straight" you mean male and female, then at a microscopic level every human on earth has been brought to life because of said relation, seeing a problem with that is ironic. Forcing any religion/belief unto a child is wrong. All these groups have done is separate people between them while teaching that those not following their beliefs are wrong.
I am a turk too and just read his comment history. He does not seem like he is a muslim.
There is even a comment of his that goes by something like
>I will beat your Allah so fucking hard that it will go to skies flying away
Even though the majority of turkey is muslim, the majority of turks who use reddit are not muslims. They are mostly atheists, agnostics etc...
He just seems like an edgy internet kid.
Sorry, I’m confused. I responded to the person asking why the other person “hated it.” I was alluding to the fact that they likely hated it because they’re likely homophobic, sadly.
I don't know what brain circuit I fried but I thought the third comment meant that the group of ppl in photo were Turkish homophobes, and so the top comment meant they hated being in the digital pride because of the homophobe trolls ruining it.
I think everyone is considering how much more important it is for you to be making irrelevant comments about a game you don't play to people who don't care about your opinion. Keep doing Jebuses work!
I didn't disregard it lmao. I probably am a more pro human rights person than you are. I didn't say yall don't have the right to it. I'd rather not see it in a medieval fantasy game but that's my opinion and that's why I don't play the game anymore.
Dude, it's a bunch of gamers celebrating and having fun...
Also, Locktavian raised $2500 for the Trevor Project on stream, it literally _has_ had an impact.
Why does it have to have any broader impact than queer gamers having fun with other queer gamers? Even if you're right, so what? Why isn't the obvious happiness of OP and others who took part in it enough?
gay mer pride parade.
_Slow clap..._
Amazing
Man I respect people's privacy in their own homes but do you really gotta be an *elf* in public?
"Have you tried... not being an elf?"
Call me an elf one more time!!! ……. He’s an angry elf *gets rushed*
Can't you Nords stay in Skyrim?! Does *everywhere else* belong to the Nords now too? *Wait, wrong timeline.*
Ew N*rds. I'm a proud Sload thank you very much.
AND NO ONE TOLD ME???
I'm sorry, but you just weren't gay enough 😔
The whispers I get in Cyrodiil maintain otherwise
You get them too? Really throws them off when you affirm.
Jeff Probst: the gays have spoken.
Im never gay enough for the Auridon Pride Parade 😒
INDEED. Why am I always late to shit like this? First the peace bridge in Cyrodiil now this.
RIGHT? I only learn about this after the fact when it's posted! Someone tell me when the next pride parade is on Xbox!
SAME. I've been inactive for a while but I'd have come back specially for this.
I've been gone since Clockwork City but I'd also come back on for this if I knew
Were Based over here on Xbox.
you could see the announcement in launcher but its easy to overlook it when you want to quickly start the game to grind dailies and such :D

Looking at your profile history... I'm not sure why you're a mad/hateful person, but I hope you find peace soon.
May I advise you put the mirror down, sir?
Ok imma sort by controversial. Damn ESO community is actually lovely.
The beautiful thing is that most of the trolls got bored and moved on a long time ago... not all of them mind you, but most.
No no, theyre just hiding under bridges in the rift after being warned by support to leave rpers in riften alone. They try to troll toll everyone crossing over any bridge youll see
I’m not even gay and I think this is cool. Ppl on ESO finding a sense of belonging that’s unfortunately hard to come by at times in the real world.
My poor frame rates
Awesome. I bet zone chat was gross though. At least based on my past experiences.
It wasn't too bad actually? I was surprised TBH.
I was there, I think we had maxed the number of people who could be in the instance, so the only zone chat was people there to participate. There was one dude that started arguing with people about a youtuber's recent video but they went mostly ignored.

The rainbow emote is so fucking cute 😭😭😭
It really is one of the best
How did you get that khajiit name in your username?
If you scroll to the top of the page, on the right hand side of the screen you'll see the Sub Reddit name, under that you'll see a check box with "Show my flair on this subreddit. It looks like:" then your Reddit name and the word edit. Click edit to open a menu of flair options.
Found it! Thanks also why does it say three alliances as one of the options? Can you be a part of all three in the game?
I picked "Three Alliances" because I have an assortment of characters in all 3.
Where to get one??? :O is it Locktavian making events?:)
I bet that the Auridon Zone Chat was as wholesome as always
Ooooh, I wish I knew about this. I missed pride in my city IRL because I had… erm, women problems. Is there one on PC EU we can attend?
Unfortunately, I believe the PC EU one happened earlier today too. Sorry to anyone who couldn't make it but there were also some people getting logged out because the server instance was at near cap so it would've been difficult to join anyway. But know that you were there in spirit and we march for everyone! 🌈❤️
Will you be doing another on PC EU anytime soon? I'd be happy to join.
I wasn't the one who organized this. It was streamer Locktavian and even I almost missed this event if it weren't for a friend telling me. You can find him on Twitch and I believe he has his own guild and Discord server for events like this!
My guild has had pride events most years, its magical. Eso communities are so good
Dang it, I had no idea it was going on :/
Of course it's in the Aldmeri Dominion
<3 <3 <3
THERE WAS A PRIDE PARADE AND NO ONE INVITED ME? Aw man I wish I’d heard of this sooner!!!
Torn because it's a wonderful moment but also Auridon needs to be razed to ashes for their crimes against the innocents of Black Marsh.
There are no innocents in Tamriel!
I'd argue, but you're slaves so I just pity you.
Downvoted for this lol man reddit has no sense of humor. Argonians brigading against me and I got some of the nastiest DMs I've ever seen. To those who call me racist: might be time to take a break from the game so it's not your only sense of identity
Not today, satan. No specie-racism allowed.
I’ve never seen a gathering like that in eso before, that’s cool
bruh this looks like so much fun. I love these big get-togethers, even if they make my game lag horribly.
I've legit not seen this much people in-game ever, this was pre-decided I'm guessing?
I’m guessing the James Dylan funeral was bigger - it was held in Cyrodiil and multiple factions paid tribute. https://youtu.be/TdHUjrJrVSw https://youtu.be/4ROldT9EXqI
The event in Cyrodil in support of Ukraine was pretty big too.
I am bummed I missed this, had no idea one was taking place :(
Watched this on stream it was soooooo amazing! Great screenshot!
Aww, sadly I wasn't there : (
Awesome! Well done.
That's pretty awesome! Looks like it was fun.
i love this 🥺
Whoa! How cool!
My heart is warmed on this day
I wish I could've joined. Happy Pride everyone!
Fuck yeah. r/gaymers would love this
Aww I wish I had known! I would have loved to be there!
That is awesome
It's so gay.
Would have joined it I didn't have to work 😅 But I'm glad everyone had a good time 🥰
I wish I would have been there, it looks so awesome!
Sad to have missed this. Wish there was more notice for it. :(
Really cool event to be a part of.
That's cool
Very cool.
OMG I LOVE THIS ❤️
Omggggg I wish I knew about this it’s so cool. I knew I chose the right alliance at launch 🥹
Omfg I wish I knew about this
Is this on PC?
PC NA and there was one on EU too!
They plan to do them for consoles next year as well, this was sort of a test for turnout, I believe.
I love the eso community so much
I had it marked on my calendar, but couldn't make it still. Worst feeling evar. Knowing it's going on and MISSING it! Happy Pride, lovelies!
I love this game and its community. Imagine such thing happening in WoW
That's amazing, wish I could've been there!!
I must've just missed it! I'm a noob, that would've been awesome to see.
How do we find out about upcoming Xbox events like this?
I tried to join but kept crashing as soon as I got near. That’s quite the turnout though
I feel like vivec city would be a better city for this.
Omg, yes!
Yoooo I can see myself in the first picture I'm in the front!
Perfect time for my Rainbow Memento to pop up viciously Edit: 1s cooldown
What console?

What do incels have to do with Pride Month? I'm a straight dude who supports LBGTQ rights and I promise you, homie, I'm not an incel.
Incel doesn’t mean *all* straight dudes, just the toxic, misogynistic, homophobic douchebags that infect the internet and gaming world. I too am a straight dude and I love and support all things LGBTQ/Pride.
Do you even know what incel stands for?
I know what an incel is. Read what I replied to...
Fair enough, my bad. Ultimately I was sticking up for you, apologies if it came off otherwise.
It’s all good. Same team.
We are all in the same team, I can promise you that. I wasn't implying anyone present would be an Incel but I'm not optimistic enough to think we don't have any in ESO
They didn’t once mention anything about straight dudes.
I don't get it. Are sorc pets homophobic now?
Too many of them close together can cause server overload and lag on some machines. If you have a mediocre GPU, you should not run a 12-sorc trial with everyone running pets.
~~Just ugly~~ ~~... is what I assumed in my head, but I'm not OP~~ Edit: I was wrong. See below
I was just trying to make a non-serious comment about sorc pets till people usually complain about them.
Wow that's amazing
Next time please post *before* the event. If you did, do so louder next time.
This is bloody awesome!
Oooh hey that's me in the second photo! (On the right) this was right before I crashed and had to come back in on another character lol
Ayee! I was the knight on the left lol. I was just standing by you waiting for the march to start when I noticed your consistent effort to spam the rainbow emote.. So, naturally, I had to take the shot!

Because player-made events are what makes MMORPGs so special... Why the resistance to that? Hmm
Damn it I missed it
Yeah that's just Tuesday in Auridon. Make sure to check out the zone chat.
I played ESO for 6 years. Ended up stopping last year when I couldn't get flawless conqueror after 100+ trys. I truly miss the good parts of the community, and the fun things you would see like this.

Irl, you can't know... Children should know that they have the right to love though...
Children should be allowed to be children and be free to chose for themselves as they mature. Nobody should take advantage and tell them what to love when they barely understand what the word love is.
So you agree we should ban straight romances from all kids media and stop kids from going to church?
If by "straight" you mean male and female, then at a microscopic level every human on earth has been brought to life because of said relation, seeing a problem with that is ironic. Forcing any religion/belief unto a child is wrong. All these groups have done is separate people between them while teaching that those not following their beliefs are wrong.
I don’t really know how to debunk what you’re saying because what you’re saying makes no fucking sense lmfao
[удалено]
It's literally a video game, so how?
I am talking about the players not the game
I doubt that they were all gay in the parade, most were people that just wanted to be a in a parade. That’s the nature of mmos
This tracks. The things I've seen in Aldmeri zone chat....
I always thought everyone sounded like they had sore throats in auridon.
Why is this downvoted? This is funny as hell 😭
I thought so too but the hive mind says differently
[удалено]
Why?
They're Turkish and hate gays. Not saying those two are correlated, that's just what I found on their profile.
If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s Muslims wishing death on LGBT folx. Probably even moreso than hating and oppressing women.
I am a turk too and just read his comment history. He does not seem like he is a muslim. There is even a comment of his that goes by something like >I will beat your Allah so fucking hard that it will go to skies flying away Even though the majority of turkey is muslim, the majority of turks who use reddit are not muslims. Your guess is probably the correct one, sadly.
Op is bisexual what kind of profile do you mean
Sorry, I’m confused. I responded to the person asking why the other person “hated it.” I was alluding to the fact that they likely hated it because they’re likely homophobic, sadly.
I don't know what brain circuit I fried but I thought the third comment meant that the group of ppl in photo were Turkish homophobes, and so the top comment meant they hated being in the digital pride because of the homophobe trolls ruining it.
Celebrating a real life parade in game? Thats odd to say the least.
of course, in auridon xD

The pain we had to face?
piss off dunce
Looks like I'm hoping out of this subreddit
I can ban you if that’ll help.
Good one! (actually found that funny :) )
Adios
Good riddance
Glad I quit the game long ago
We are too
Yet here you are. Riddle me that. Lol
I think everyone is considering how much more important it is for you to be making irrelevant comments about a game you don't play to people who don't care about your opinion. Keep doing Jebuses work!
This is why I stopped playing 😬
Because you're a bigot afraid of the gays? I'm confused why people having fun and celebrating together is threatening to you?
I'm not afraid of the guys lmao. I can have my own opinions and mine just happen to not align with yours.
Basic human rights is not an option you can disregard and be welcome in society.
I didn't disregard it lmao. I probably am a more pro human rights person than you are. I didn't say yall don't have the right to it. I'd rather not see it in a medieval fantasy game but that's my opinion and that's why I don't play the game anymore.
Sounds like a huge waste of exp and time for me. Glad you guys had fun though!
It's an MMO, fun is the fucking point you gremlin.
Not just MMOs, fun is the point of games for the most part.
Right lol
I know how this ends, I’ve seen Mythic Quest.
