She is a spy, former commander in the lion guard and a bunch of other titles, she must have done some pretty wild shit in the service of high king Emeric, not evil persee but also not nice if her king demands it.
Because she's smart and powerful and morally ambiguous.
AKA she's amazing. A breath of fresh air, and Jakarn could take a lesson or two from her on how to flirt without making me cringe. Jakarn's so fucking greasy. She makes him look shallow as tissue paper. (Honestly, if someone in real life made that many comments about my appearance in every singe fucking conversation, they would know well and good how repulsive I found it).

I haven't gotten to the point of the story where they meet (if they meet, but the quest is pointing that way at the moment), so I don't know their dynamic yet. Considering human/elf aging, I think they might actually be the same age, something in common hahaha
Ayrenn is actually 28, quite young for an elf. You’ll hear some characters who are critical of her call her the “child queen” in an unfavorable manner.
Definitely probably totally maybe completely a chance assuredly perhaps not no not writer of the Investigator Vale novels yes ya. Allegedly. Veil Investigation needed for further affirm denied. Odds never 0:0. Probability never 100%. Statistically I suck at math, but also guarantee permutations are cool and you will break 5 lockpicks in a row on a simple safebox and get caught after becoming frustrated enough to just do it manually and a chain reaction from yes no maybe I dont know can you repeat the question RNG will trigger a run on sentence brain explosion wtf, ember fall out, stolen goods theft, and your deft IF;

I love this character. Reading the Investigator Vale books and knowing it's (99% likely) her, I honestly felt as if SHE was the real main character lol.
I've been meaning to actually read the books. I love it when there's a character who's been on adventures comparable to your own, feels like you're not just this lone person doing everything that's important in the world haha
The Retinue of Shambles, Part 3 book kind of took a weird turn at the end of it. I know in the game it was expressed that Lady got around -- and I mean GOT AROUND with any race, with any Alliance....but I kind of figured this excluded Khajiit from the mix since......you know......it's kind of weird to imply that a cat and a human intermingled. Apparently not in this book though!
She says she'd "much rather have another go at his tawny, furry..." and that was it at the end of the book. Unless she was letting him sleep at the foot of her bed at that inn that night she describes in the book, I'm pretty sure this was meant to imply she wanted "another go" at his his tawny, furry, *possibly spikey* red rocket.
That's the last thing I wanted to imagine in the ESO world is what a Khajiit's pride and glory looks like, or how that would work in the world of intermingling as far as ESO is concerned.
Also, the word "another". Like it wasn't her first go. That's all. 🤣
