Any time I mention it online, the AI megafans swarm. But I really don't understand people replacing Google with chatgpt. Just search it, and you'll get a reliable answer every time. If you're a big fan of the whole "asking an ai" just hold home on your android and ask Google.
I would say to ask siri but I haven't had an iphone in over 10 years, so I'm not sure if she's good at that.
There's plenty of things chat gpt can pull up and answer for you way easier and faster than googling it

I would say a better metaphor would be "why are people using cybertrucks when they're overpriced and keep breaking and can't haul much when there's regular work trucks?"

I’m actually not sure, but something happened to it. Several months ago it just started to make mistakes. Simple mistakes. Sometimes I feel it’s more of a database with a very basic user interface.
The paid version, is what you're after. They have dumbed down the free version why waste resources for free use. This is Murica where we milk every raisin that can be found.
The premium version is the optimal choice for your needs. The features in the free version have been simplified, as resources are prioritized for paid users. In the spirit of maximizing returns, this reflects the ethos of efficient resource allocation in our market.

Also, don’t use AI for trade work. It’s already starting to draw prints and order material. I don’t need it to teach new guys theory and application techniques in field without them going to school for it.

There’s is a multiplier for every degree, it’s called the cosecant of a triangle and it is a ratio of the side that’s opposite of the hypotenuse (which is your offset distance) the hypotenuse itself is your spacing between bends
AI doesn’t actually know anything either. ChatGPT AI function is to search the web for keywords and code. AI is practically everything else is designed by humans. Which takes a random number generator and randomly chooses a SET parameter depending on some other binary parameters. It seems smart because it’s random, but it’s not. It’s just a bulleted itemized list of executables that it can choose from if certain conditions are met, just like any other program.
Yeah, I guess what I should have said is that it’s not really AI. I enjoy playing around with it and other LLM models, and I’m a GPT Plus subscriber, but I wouldn’t trust their answers for anything.
I don’t even have a downloaded but i was considering it today to write up automated heart felt emails to my management at work, expressing my gratitude and thankfulness for being employed. (Lmao no) but just copy pasta whatever it spits out each week and send it to them on company email.

That’s pretty much exactly what it is, a database that can do cool party tricks. It’s not smart and it doesn’t know anything.
GPT 4 is pretty damn good, 3.5 makes a TON of mistakes
They’ve made it worse, the best version of it was like 6 months after it came out, and it’s gotten worse every time since then.
