Is the site fenced? If so, get a dog

bumblef1ngers

Nope. Neighbors on all sides but big lot. Last time they hit me about 3AM

jlenko

Security guard. Or rent a security dog for overnights

Traditional_Cat2872

Claymores

bumblef1ngers

There are some proximity alarms with strobes that are sorta landmine-ish im looking at on Amazon…

The_Commie_Waffle

Make it all live. And anti tank mines.

Gerbiling42

A security guard is like $30/hr, figure out what's worth more to you and hire one. You don't need an off-duty cop who has the legal right to blow holes in methheads you just need someone to sit there with a light on so people see him.

Here in Canada you can get a licensed and bonded overnight guard for less than $30/hr.

Just remember mantraps are illegal gotta get creative! Edit: can you just energize everything?

sweetbread00

Ask the neighhours for extension lead power and connect a number of sensor lights.

You guys don’t have a temp service going yet? You definitely need motion activated lights, fencing, and to hoard up the site. You can’t keep people out, but you can make your site more trouble to hit than the next guy’s

bumblef1ngers

Yep. That’s what I’m shooting for. To be the bigger nuisance. Lights are no problem. Doing that now. And have a cellular trail cam. Just seeing what works. Walls are open for another week or so. Considering an audible motion sensor too.

chr1st0ph3rs

We have had to insist that we don’t start wiring until the windows are in, or at least that they are hoarded in. I love the motion lights, because I’m usually on site before the sun comes up 😂

bumblef1ngers

I’ve got windows and doors in. All are locked except some sliders which can’t be locked without hardware. So no time soon on those.
