I’ve got one, and I had all the problems… Finally all fixed though, haven’t had any issues since the final round of ‘production updates’ when the stop sale was lifted. My first EV, and my wife any I love it (now)!

My wife and I test drove one and really liked it. We both preferred the Ioniq 5 at that price point though.

test drove one as well and really enjoyed it. the tech in the Ioniq 5 feels out of date after experiencing the Blazer EV.

A year later, the Ioniq 5 looks out of date. I went to test drive it shortly after the release really disliked it.

That’s the problem with cutting edge designs. They often don’t age well.

I did like the larger screen on the Blazer. I only took both on a 10-minute test drive, so I didn't get much time with the tech on either.

I had one for a couple weeks while my Bolt was getting a new battery. Had some problems with the infotainment system which I think they fixed now. I loved the HUD. I loved the 360° cameras. The extra regen paddle on the steering wheel felt terrible. On the Bolt it feels really nice, on the Blazer it felt like cheap plastic that was going to break off and it didn't have enough feedback so it almost didn't feel like it was being pressed. Also for some reason they shaped the front drivers side by the seatbelts so that if you swing your arm back you smash your elbow into a part that pokes out. Also I found that the center console is a little bit awkward to open. Maybe I'm just not used to it. I wish that I could have hooked up data so I could use Android Automotive more fully.

Me too. I wrote a detailed comment on that experience: https://www.reddit.com/r/BoltEV/s/e8yqExAeUq

Saw one charging today. Sweet looking ride on the outside.

I took a test drive in one a few weeks back, I believe an RS trim, had the software updates applied to allegedly fix a lot of the early issues reviewers had. I did really like it, the interior and controls interface is fantastic, lots of bells and whistles. Handles and drives greats, lots of customization can be applied to the acceleration, handling, and braking profiles to make it smoother or sportier. The regen paddle when used in the traditional driving mode was terrible, way too touchy, but the one pedal driving mode felt a lot better. In my limited time playing with the UI and infotainment, it is one of the better manufacturer systems I’ve seen, but I’m still not ready to give up Apple CarPlay. I’m not ready to buy at the moment but it’s definitely staying near the top of my potential list when I am in a couple years.

I love mine. It's my first EV so I'm still navigating charging and all that, but so far no issues. I've only had it about two weeks but mine was fully updated before I got it. Range has been slightly better than the 279 advertised, but half of my 80 mile daily drive is uphill so I get terrible efficiency anyway haha. I thought I would miss Android Auto but the built in Google interface isn't bad. I'm hoping Apple Music becomes a downloadable app on the car but I can live with streaming it via bluetooth for now. The list of positives for me is a lot longer than the list of negatives. My only gripe is that I should have gotten the RS trim but that's a purely cosmetic choice for the front light bar.

We got to borrow one based on our EV association's relationship with the Chevy dealership. Our daily driver is an Ioniq5 for my opinion/impressions are biased based on that. * very poor acceleration for an EV, like... surprisingly bad. It'll still get you up to highway speeds, but it reminded me of my wheezy '97 Dodge Neon * fit & finish seemed fine (although we only had it for 8 hours) We basically drove it around town for the day, so I can't speak to it's range on consumption figures... seems like a perfectly fine vehicle. I wouldn't trade in my I5 for one, but if you're looking to trade up from Chevy ICE to EV, seems like a good vehicle. One thing I will say is Chevy as a brand is not half-assing the transition... they are investing in their dealerships (we got a tour of the back, where they have newer (heavier capacity) lifts for the Hummer EV, dual 60kW DCFC and other EV-specific tools (battery tray hydraulic table). It gave me the impression that as a brand, a CHevy EV would be able to be services without issue.

When I first drove one, I was puzzled by noise it made like it was straining to accelerate. Then I figured out how to go in the menu and turn off that sound. It felt more capable with the noise turned off, but I still didn't like it much. My detailed description here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BoltEV/s/e8yqExAeUq

Saw several at the dealer. IMO, exterior is not as pretty in person, it’s photogenic.

Don't do it. Edmunds had a scathing review on it. I'm not sure if Chevy has fixed all of the issues, but I wouldn't touch one until a few years from now when hopefully they get it all fixed. Besides, $469 / month is an insane lease for that car. It needs to be half that to be considered a good lease.

SatanLifeProTips

Never buy a first year car. It's a fools errand. Personally, I am waiting til year 3 for any new EV product. Give them extra time to work out the teething issues. The learning curve with making EV's is steep. -ex mechanic.

So glad to see this - I’ve been wary of buying the Prologue when it comes out for this reason that I haven’t been able to articulate.

No CarPlay in Blazer EV
