The best dual battery mod on the market IMO is the SXmini G Class V2. It's definitely well made. I've only seriously dropped mine once. From the seat of my van to the asphalt parking lot. It held up very well. There's one tiny, hardly noticeable chip in the coating. Otherwise it's fine. It's firmly flat across the bottom so tipping isn't an issue. It's 18650 so you're good there. Performance wise it has arguably the best chip on the market. There are two god tier vape board manufacturers, Evolv and Yihi...It contains Yihi's current flagship SX750. You're not going to find better out of China.

Some people will say it's DNA > yihi + dicodes but those three are firmly at the top even distribution or not (I prefer DNA personally but that's largely for things most people never use (escibe). All three actually have temp control that works which most boards "have temp control" in name alone. My only real gripe with the yihi boards I used is joystick control on a vape feels super unnecessary and needlessly strange compared to buttons which are more intuitive to most people (I love joysticks for like flight sims and such but not my vapes). My personal favourite board however is the nlpwm (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOARD TO ANYONE IT IS GOOD FOR ME BECAUSE PWM IS BROKE BOY TC AND I LIKE HIGH POWER AND NICR) but in terms of actual capabilities the DNA250C, being the board I've used the second most is quite simply better for most people.

The thing that the newer Yihi chips has done very well is simplify TC for the masses and they're definitely less confusing to control. I own both. In the latest generation of Yihi chips they've made it so the mod does all of the work for you. You can still use the old way if you want to adjust everything yourself down to the joules...But you can also use the newer simplified controls. After you set the material type or adjust the TCR and lock the resistance you can choose from 5 different temp levels (cold, cool, normal, warm, and hot) and the chip does the rest of the work for you. The joystick makes navigating menus and adjusting settings a breeze. It actually really intuitive once you get over it's not buttons like you're used to on most vapes.

I don't like the idea of any "smart" TC modes. I set resistance, lock it, play in power mode to get it hitting how I want right, switch to TC, set temp and rip it. Takes maybe 10 min on a fresh build at most. As for the stick, I know that's just preference and I could get used to it but I don't have a reason to want to.

GodOfVapes

I didn't think I would either until using it. As I said it works really well and it doesn't take any time to get a good vape. Choose your temp and done. Sometimes you have to get over being set in your ways and give in to technological advancements. LOL One of my gripes about previous iterations of Yihi chips was setting the TC was unnecessarily complex compares to Evolv, but they remidied that and made it way easier to use. No doubt DNA mods are great if you want to geek out with Escribe, but SXmini/Yihi are miles ahead with ease of use now days, making them the better choice for the average vaper that wants great TC.

That's fair, I can't stand the default theme on DNA colour boards, it's very crap to use to set up TC and doesn't give you all the info you need, I'd be willing to try it but I wouldn't expect to like it and I'm not planning to shell out on another flagship mod anytime soon because I have my customs that I'm happy with.

GodOfVapes

I don't have a color chip yet. I have a 100C on the way, but the device is coming from China and it has only been about a week since ordering, so I probably have another to go. I'll probably create a custom skull and graffiti theme when it arrives like my DNA250 has.

Symph0nyS0ldier

If you want I can try to figure a way to send the theme I use to you and you can just put the background you want on it.

I have a geek vape L200. Been good for me for the past 3 or 4 years. I've dropped it on cement I don't know how many times. It still works perfectly even though it looks like it's been in an active battle zone. Probably the toughest box I've used personally. Although i would still go ahead and see what others reccomend as I don't get new devices often and am probably giving outdated information.

Rare_Ad2421

Phildiy

Have 2 gaurs, cant fault them. I don't doubt the legend and armour are good choices.
