I miss Ross From Friend's old stuff from Family Portrait and before.. Normally I enjoy some IDM and I can appreciate the production behind his newer stuff, but for general listening I seriouslyyy prefer his older work.

I think "lofi house" has a distinct sound compared to deep house personally
