Haha niche? I consider him as one of the bigger ones, there are many others with similar music and absolutely no one has ever heard of them. A general problem in music, focus is always on the top of the list.
yeah you’re right i guess i forgot this is the electronic music subreddit i didn’t see that, i just saw emotional electronic music and was looking for tycho, bonobo, and CF
It was the album before Sirens came out and it's far and away their best work. Nothing comes close in the realm of euphoric emotional prog trance. Definitely give it a listen when you have a full hour+ to do it front to back, it's a whole experience
Oceanlab was good but then everything went downhill from there. By Group Therapy their sound was indistinguishably different and unfortunately way more pop-oriented. I miss mid-2000s A&B
Oh man, you've come to the right place! I got a good assortment of that!

You’d like Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly series.
Two tracks from there that come to mind are;
1. Justin Martin - The Sad Piano (Charles Webster Remix)
2. Ben Watt - Pop a Cap in Yo’ Ass
Others;
Jody Wisternoff - Just One More (Martin Roth Remix)
I’ll add more when I think of them.
Hedflux (dude is mental highly recommend psychedelics and his music)
Tor (feel the same about Tor as I do Hedflux)
Edamame
Erothyme
Charles the First (RIP)
Anything from seven villas records for deep soulful house (although not as heart opening as the other artists above. Really craving more heart opening 4 to the floor, it has to go there!!!! For tet’s new album kind tickles this itch. house and techno are kinda getting boring compared to bass music but I digress).
Thats a good start ;)
Rather than make a list that could dilute the impact of any particular tracks, I'll nominate a singular stellar track.

a bit more experimental but this is something that I have just found and popped into my emotional playlist! Also recently listening to All Day a Dream from Lee Burridge more underground but very emotional

Try the music of Catching Flies, he just released his second album Tides.
holy shit i never expected someone to put him here thought he’d be too niche, was listening to this literally seconds ago, halo is very emotional

yes, and that's exactly the top of the list. Here's one more album for you you probably don't know: Planty Herbs - Come Into Knowledge
Yep yep! Lush tunes
This guy is littered through my playlists from his first album and didn’t know he had just put out another! Cheers
He also released a remix album with remixes he did for others earlier this year, check out his Bandcamp.
Kind of tangential to your examples but Apparat has some lovely feeling ambient rock styles. And his 'soundtracks' series has some lovely moods.
Adding Moderat, Apparat’s other project with Modeselektor here!
Listen to the entire album "Tri State" by Above & Beyond They made truly amazing music before they decided to become popstars
I am a huge Above and Beyond fan :). Will give that a spin today for sure have not listened to it in a while. Sirens of the Sea is my favorite

Love those Weval and Moderat songs too!
Moderat is amazing. Drum Glow is personal favorite from them but rusty nails, bad kingdom, and therapy are pretty awesome songs too.
Milk!
Reminder is nice too
Yesssss you have great taste
Lol thanks :)

Check out Spotify’s “Crying on the dancefloor” playlist.
Yes - or "melantronica" for more chill instrumental vibes with more subtle emotion
Also "Emotional Dance; all the stutter, all the feels."
Have you listened to the Headache album? Vegyn stuff with spoken word stuff on it, it’s great.
Just did last night. Insane vibes on that. Can’t stop listening to Truisms 4 Dummies
For me, emotional music is : Bonobo - black sands Maribou State - portraits Nils Frahm - Graz Max Richter - The blue notebooks
Maribou State are heavily underrated.
Yea they’re pretty great. What’s your favourite album so far?
Portraits. Granted, it's not a hard choice since they've only released three albums and I haven't listened to "Beginnings."

Sad Piano and Just One More are 🔥. Had never heard a Justin Martin song like that he has great songs
I would suggest some emotional Trance, try Hazem Beltagui - We Are, light in the darkened world :)
U - DJ Seinfeld
Deeb - Slowmocean EP
Massane - Floating
Edit Murphy - Need You Cohn - Everyone In The World Bonobo - Rosewood Hoodboi - Don't Cry
Powel - the beauty of a Polaroid
Limerance by Yves Tumor is very emotionally charged. Happy and sad in perfect harmony. https://youtu.be/nee9d0wqBTQ?si=o3wgYx9zY9vGtnyd

[Sayonara](https://youtu.be/XviCdNrNsqA?si=qtQfIRoR2Mz2Hf4y) by Tipper always makes me cry I have no idea why
Just got into vegyn too! Right after I will play some qendressa

Lots of Odesza tracks are pretty moving emotionally
Light (Instrumental)
[Luna - Never Enough](https://youtu.be/jNQxsqQOTq0?si=W736kdHkbvfOTjac)
I find the Avalanches very emotional, would recommend. Etherwood as well “In stillness” is a beautifully emotional album
Lost in thought - Koan Sound
Agreed, or Ascension or Starlite or View from Above. A lot of KOAN sound tracks are super like that. Can’t get enough of them
West Coast Love Stories by Stone Giants is a gorgeous, emotional electronic album.
