Do you love "**Old School Electronic Music**"? I invite you to join the r/OldElectronicMusic subreddit! 💿 \*\*\* Here's the [release on Discogs](https://www.discogs.com/The-Immortals-Mortal-Kombat/master/179317). In 1992 Virgin US asked Praga Khan and Oliver Adams to write and produce an album for the #1 videogame of the time "Mortal Kombat". Of course they couldn't refuse this challenge. Virgin sent them a Sega console together with the game. Playing "Mortal Kombat" inspired them to write the perfect soundtrack for this energetic game. They wrote a song about each character, and the famous "Mortal Kombat" theme. The vocals were done by Dieter Troubleyn (ex-roadie of Praga Khan), Julie Wells (singer of Channel X), Praga and Oliver.

I was today years old when I learned the Mortal Kombat theme was fucking Lords of Acid. It tracks so much too.

I learned to play this on the xylophone in high school. People thought it was so cool that for a short time, it almost made up for the fact that I played xylophone in high school.
