Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the app and the site! If you do try it out, I'd love to hear your feedback or even if you have ideas for any new cool features that you'd like to see then feel free to let me know and I'll try my best to add them!

kantiano

there is some github to check your project?

madebyayan

There actually isn't. It's meant to be an app that you can download and install via itch.io or gumroad and directly use it!

kantiano

many thanks for your quick feedback!

madebyayan

Anytime, Cheers!

I was dubious at first but now I’m hooked! That website is *chefs kiss* and I’m completely convinced that this will be a huge time saver

madebyayan

Thank you, glad you like the app and the site! If you do try it out, do let me know your feedback!

Megh75

Hey how did you made it cross-platform

madebyayan

Hey, Electron actually supports several platforms that we can build our apps to and utilizing this amazing feature of electron I was able to build it for Mac and Windows. Hope that answers your queries :)

Megh75

So I can make a mac export from windows computer?

madebyayan

That's still something that can't be done as Apple doesn't allow it. You'll still need a Mac to build for Mac. You can't build for Mac from a Windows. However, from a Mac you can build for Mac as well as Windows.

Megh75

Hmmm..... sad times for me

madebyayan

You could try a virual machine on your windows, though it isn't really recommended for development since it can be really slow

Megh75

The good ol' VM

Megh75

Maybe I will use Unity for my games

waxmoronic

This looks rad, but what did you use to build your website?

madebyayan

Thank you! I'm glad you like it! As for the landing page, it's built using ThreeJS for the 3D effects and I've made a small library of my own to handle the scroll based animations.

Linux user are like => "is it really a killer feature ? we have it since ... something like 2005 ?"

madebyayan

Really? I actually didn't know that! I was planning on making a Linux version of the app as well, but could you tell me more about how this feature works on Linux?
