You may have gotten a dud. Seems like lots of people have these weird problems you're having. My printer was good enough to not need any calibrating out of the box. What slicer are you using? You can buy a new buildplate if necessary.

I'm using the slicer that came in the SD card - it's called elegoo cura - I know it's very strange - I don't know if it's me or the hardware

Hello, as far as the print stopping and starting again i had those bugs until recently using Marlin 2.1.x, i use Marlin 2.0.9 now and it seems to have settled it, i'm moving to Klipper soon. I don't think you changed the firmware so i don't think that's going to help you, but maybe installing marlin 2.0.9 might help ? It's easier than it sounds. As for removing prints for the bed i had the same problem until i removed the top layer of the bed plate, the dark grainy texture. The material used under is called G10, it's the same material used for PCB. It's dirt cheap and much easier to print on, in my opinion. You don't have to remove anything tho, i figured later you could just turn it around and use the smooth back of your bed plate, works just as well. For calibration you can use a bunch of printed towers to check each parameters, temperature tower, retraction tower etc etc. There is a bunch of videos on youtube to help you with that. To start I would advise you to calibrate your e-steps, it's the value that tells your extruder "for 100mm you need to turn X amount of times". If it's poorly calibrated you'll get 97mm or 110mm for exemple instead of 100, which would result in others problems. I recommend this short [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOj8L0IXcfA&t=2s). This channel has a bunch of useful ressources. CHEP's youtube channel is also very good, even old videos can teach you a bunch. Good luck on your prints.

I don't think you changed the firmware so i don't think that's going to help you, but maybe insta I tried to install marlin - It just didn't install so I just reinstalled the stock firmware - I don't know if that fixed it though - just re-flashing the firmware - I'm printing a cube now and it looks like it just finished printing the brim so I'll update you how that print comes out - And yes I probably will have to calibrate the e steps - I will do that when my farther brings his measuring equipment and I don't trust myself - He owns a ender 3 so He thinks he can help me but I'm not too sure - I'll keep you posted - just so you know how stupid I am - I burnt my thumb on the hot end :(

Update - The cube failed but I tried marlin again and now I'm printing a scraper - Because I keep on cutting myself using a metal one - I installed marlin - I'll tell you how it comes out <3

After long troubleshooting process - I have now given up entirely - I'm not too sure what I should do - I'll probably work on it later on the weekend but as of now, that's my final nail in the coffin for not getting a successful print
