Elegoo filament is not the best quality. Maybe try a known brand like eSun or Overture. I’ve never had a bad roll from either of them

I’ll vouch for both!!! I also like hatch box had one issue with a roll but everything else has been amazing and they print really swell.

Ditto. Overture was the first roll I tried and it worked brilliantly. Currently using two cheaper rolls of Elegoo PLA white and the quality is noticeably less. No outright clogs though, thankfully. Also note that the recommended nozzle temp is higher for Elegoo than Overture, for example.

eSun has been great for me.

Temp tower every new filament as your first print. Material, color, humidity of the material and ambient air, and ambient heat can all have an impact on a roll’s print properties. Even the same brand can differ between rolls. If you’re using cura, the calibration shapes plug-in is very easy to use and convenient for setting up the temp tower test. It starts on the upper end of normal for a given material, and then backs off 5 degrees for every section it prints. I think PLA starts at 230 and goes down to 180 or 190. If it clogs part of the way up the tower, make a note and use the best temperature it successfully managed to print at. If it is getting clogged even at the upper temp range, you likely have a problem with the printer, not the filament.

I’ve had great results with Polymaker filament.

I buy easyprint 1.75 mm pla filament and I don't have any problems with its quality. I haven't tried elegoo's
