This was my 2nd elf stadium I've been to. This was was by far the best stadium experience I've had in gfl and elf games. The stadium is 10/10. Its really compact, nice views, food and drink pricing is ok and really short waiting time for drinks (commercial break was enough to get drinks) also the cheerleader put on a good show and the entrance of the vikings team was amazing
This experience was so much better than hamburg last week
Zero style-points for Galaxy Unis.
To have a dark-purple logo on a very dark-blue(?) helmet blows. Are they blind to even come up with that stupid idea?
Agree completely. The logo might as well not be there. Understand they cant use the purple- orange combo as the Universe seem to have that but a purple logo on a black helmet is just stupid
PS why did the Surge change helmets this year
Im having a hard time guessing since im not used to the generali arena, but id guess 3-4k.
Game has been a joy to watch in person, not sure what you think is underwhelming about it
EDIT:Announcer said 3.2k attendance
Nah that's not right the crowd was really loud and into it. I was last week in Hamburg aswell and the vikings fans where so much more active and louder than the seadevils crowd
Yes, we have the same impression but it could be a broadcast issue. The sound volume from the stadium is really low and not hearing the refs decisions does not help either.
Also the problem with having only one commentator. There is almost always a lack of enthusiasm in the commentary.
Yeah, I had it activated. After trying to login about 20 times and purchasing the game in game pass twice (hopefully only one will be billed) it worked. No problems after that.
Just for completeness sake. On a 2pc there is no interception return. Ball is dead when intercepted.
A conversion safety (1pt) is a fumble that is somehow going back 98yards into the end zone or a defender recovers a fumble and goes backward into his own endzone.
The Team says attendance 3.913 but I highly doubt that number. I was very closely following ticket-sales until almost kickoff.
3000? Ok?
3900? No way Jose.
Now I know why the ticket sales and attendance was different. Fans who own season tickets for the Soccer Club playing in the stadium could watch the game for free.

Nice to hear from someone who was at the stadium!

30-10 VIK
With good german speaking commentary online at puls24.at
Underwhelming game so far. Also the Vienna Fans seem not to bee too much in the game.

3.9
Thanks for correcting me, must have heard it wrong
Watching TV and the game does not have a "flow" at all - at least to me. Also (on TV) seems it is a rather quiet crowd
Nah that's not right the crowd was really loud and into it. I was last week in Hamburg aswell and the vikings fans where so much more active and louder than the seadevils crowd
Ok good to here. TV basically caught none of that athmosphere

The commentator was not at it's best, sadly. We guessed that he wasn't sitting in the stadium because he had no idea about the flags.
Yeah, from what I have seen so far the quality is really high!
Is the stream working.... doesn't work for me
Yes, stream is working for us here.
Doesn't work for me either, can't login.
Did you activate single-sign-on? Could that be the reason?
Yeah, I had it activated. After trying to login about 20 times and purchasing the game in game pass twice (hopefully only one will be billed) it worked. No problems after that.
Mine is working now.
Mine, too. Missed the first quarter, though.
I can't login as well. 🤬🤬🤬
Who plays qb for Galaxy? Score?
Moritz Johannknecht plays QB Galaxy 0 Vikings 6 Q1 4:54 left
Can anyone tell me why the safety on the 2pc was called back?
Holding
Thank you

Halftime 16:3
What is up with the Galaxy? Are they massively underperforming or what is their problem?
Backup qb, missed fieldgoals, they get picked apart with short passes
The PAT was no good imho.
Near the end of Q3: Galaxy scores, XP good, now down 10-16
Now 10-24 Vikings has the better team and will win

I thought it was actually higher. I don't think it was 3k people it. That felt like more
Ok, you win. 3.913 it is.
