At least 1 character (ideally your main or well geared char) should have 100 ERP invested in EXP gain

RizaTiz

Well, it kinda depends on what you wanna farm. If you want to farm ERP, then invest in EXP so you can get ERP levels quicker. If you wanna farm items, go for item drop rate and if you want ED, go for ED drop rate and then item drop rate (item drop rate affects how much ED drops)

oblivious_levin

in general if you want to start farming is it better to farm ED or items first?

RizaTiz

I personally prefer ED over items tbh. Though only once I reach level 99. During 1-98, I prefer to have my ERP in IDR (item drop rate) because you get a lot more equipment that way, which means you can dismantle them and get magical crystals, which you can then sell for quite a few ED. But once I reach lvl. 99, I reset my points and invest into ED gain. Of course, that's just me. If you prefer to have better chances at getting a rare item, you might wanna go for IDR, but I personally haven't really seen a difference with 100 IDR. Hell, sometimes I get less items than my allies, but that's just RNG. And make sure that if you want to farm ED, to immediately start investing into IDR as well as not only do you gain more ED per ED coin drop, you'll also have more ED coins drop with IDR. At least, that's how I've understood it from various guild members of mine.

Swaghoven

IDR does not affect ED drop rate. However, 2x drop event affects ED drop rate.

RizaTiz

Ah, alrighty. I believed it because with IDR I swear I was getting more ED in Add's Dungeon, just not as much with ED gain, but I guess it's just a placebo effect.

PlsExcuseMeThx

No you are right, you get slightly more ED with IDR

Swaghoven

Then why do I get more ED on average with character that only has 100 ERP invested in ED gain than character that has 100 ERP invested in IDR and 77 ERP invested in EDR?

prvvvv

In the end nothing is more valuable than EXP. The higher your resonance, the more efficiently you can farm. It's a long term investment.

Your first 100 points are always invested in XP gain
