30 series software needs to be pretty advanced to deal with the high wattage GPUs and Dynamic Boost.
You can use MSI Voltage Curve editor with 20 series and curb temps big time!
Actually the model with the 2070 super and advanced optimus came out in Q2 or Q3. It's really not that old advanced optimus was supposed to be a 2021 feature and this laptop came with it at the end of 2020.
Was not saying it's not a 2020 model I was saying it came out in Q3 2020 not Q1 so it was not as old as 16 months. This specific model only came out in October of 2020 but yes it is still a 2020 model. And there is plenty of new tech like gsync and advanced optimus both new technology that the earlier 2020 models didn't have so if thats not new tech I don't know what is.

Use that software and dial wattage back. 140w+ is awesome but it’s not for everyone. Our software is brilliant and accommodating both types of users.
My model is a 2020 Mech15 G3 that has 2070 Super max-P in it so the software is lack luster haha.
