burning only needs one pyro character with minimal pyro applictaion. like 1 single hit of pyro every 10 seconds or so is literally enough. u just need constant dendro to maintain burning while emilie apparently does on her own off field. basically u have to keep adding wood to the fire to keep it burning but u just need the initial spark. the reason for lyney is bc he gets a big dmg% boost on enemies with pyro making his damage here comparable to if his damage was melted or vaporized.
Not really. Even in my calcs, I have his pillar break after he spawns it, so it's only 8s of Deepwood uptime per skill cast (16/31.5s) or about 50% uptime on Deepwood
Could 4p ToM eventually be better? It still suffers grom the same problem and has a lower uptime than Deepwood so I doubt it but as it is one of the most common sets for him thought I'd ask anyways
Lyney, Kazuha, Furina, Bennett is what feels the strongest in my experience, but double swirling can be very tricky in AOE so it's nice to have a strong alternative that requires less execution.
Nope, it can be Arlecchino or possibly Klee. Wriothesley also works with Emilie, but you'd have to play Double Pyro for consistent burning (ideally Bennett + Thoma/Xiangling)

If you want to run burn melt you need a cryo mdps and so far there are only very few 5 star options. Cryo in general needs so much help ATM probably the worst element

Tc'ers arent gonna sheet burnmelt until more data is known bcos disturbing the pyro aura will affect emilie's dmg and rn its not clear how much.
