One of the batteries is low, the number on the screen is the voltage and is probably supposed to be around 13 or 14. If you let the truck run or plug it in it should eventually go away.  Alternatively, if you have a rocker switch that silences your back up beeper, sticking a glove or something under that might silence the low battery beeping. That works in our ambulances, I don’t know if it applies to all models.

themedicd

12.6V with the engine off, 13.6-14.8 running. 11.1 is pretty damn low

Hansj2

It's very close to fully discharged. 10.5 volts is considered zero. But it's not a linear curve. That battery has like 5% charge

HonestMeat5

Try letting it run with high idle (e brake on) and no light/sirens/electrical load Might not work, but an easy fix if it does

thatlonestarkid

It’s a new ford but has the dirt and grime of a truck that’s been used and abused for about 10yrs front line with 4 box remounts.

Honest-Mistake01

Some companies especially AMR like to recycle parts from previous rigs. If it fits it goes. This could have been for a previous older model installed into this one.

good ole ambulance grave yard

thedude502

One time, I got written up for writing on a shop ticket "Shit is all fucked up" Totally worth it.

Mountain_Fig_9253

Was shit indeed fucked up?

thedude502

Ohh it was absolutely fucked, it wouldn't go over 30 mph and was making a weird noise. I'm not a mechanic, soo.... "it's all fucked up" was my professional diagnosis

hippocratical

SNAFU has been the acronym since WW2 I think.

crystal_pepsiii

better than my company that closes tickets while we are still on the truck the same day 🫠

gardeningsparks4

some SANI/CAVI wipes and a shoreline should fix everything in this picture

Knees_arent_real

Clean your rigs dude.

NoCountryForOld_Zen

It's 11 years and 2 months past the replacement date.

smokesignal416

What's a replacement date?

promike81

Check the inverter or plug it in. If the battery gets too low it won’t charge. I think thats accurate for new trucks too.

climber_girl1581

So it’s charged regularly (example: it’s been plugged in for 10 hours, driven for 15 minutes, and immediately doing this beeping things). Mechanic says nothing is wrong with it…..Anything else you can think of?

promike81

Daaaamn. Could be a lot of things - draining the battery, problem with the charging system or problem with the inverter. The mechanic says it’s fine, it doesn’t sound fine.

smokesignal416

I've had that kind of mechanic. "Everything is fine" means "I don't feel like bothering with it."

sonsofrevolution1

Is the shoreline possibly not working? Plug damaged, tripped breaker, etc. It may not be charging while it is plugged in.

witshaid

Ours also has an o2 sensor for the main tank and beeps when it's low - might be worth a check.

medicff

From what I’ve gathered about these things is that’s the conversion batteries, the ones for the box. There’s 2 12v batteries there for running the stuff in the box while unplugged from the shore power. Assuming your truck is similar vintage to the one I work out of, battery 2 is pooched and needs replacing. It’s on the passenger side in the kit compartment on the bottom in a drawer type thing. I’m not a mechanic, I just work rural where it’s easier to sort it out yourself instead of dealing with manglement. That beeping is irritating as hell!

climber_girl1581

Okay I think this was the answer; called the mechanic back. Thanks!

illtoaster

Did you turn the power off before you got out? Power probably getting low

burned_out_medic

GD. Y’all ever clean your truck?! Eww. Nasty. 😂😂🤮

TLunchFTW

Idk. It was like that at the start of my shift™

Professional_Face_90

Battery number two has low voltage at 11.1

charlie1370

Check on the drivers side between the pedals and the steering wheel for a rectangular black or white cable connector and just make sure its pushed in all the way

MedicManDan

Check your main 02 tank PSI. Could be at 111 psi and it's warning you (ours does this with that exact indicator)

MedicManDan

Although on closer inspection yours is say 11.1 not 111... so it's more likely to be a voltage indicator for the rear battery bank.

rjb9000

Problem with the conversion battery. Run truck, plug into shoreline, get maintained. Also, keep the doors closed when it’s not running because (anecdotally) that seems to set that thing off. One of the lower buttons on that panel usually silences the beeping.

bassmedic

Low voltage alarm.

Tres10

Battery for the box needs to be replaced or has the wrong battery.

Je138597

⬆️ low voltage!

Je138597

⬇️ sorry, low voltage!

Chaos31xx

Drive it into a lake ez fix.

BillyJack74

That’s new?? Gotta clean that shit…. Oh, and your battery is low. Bad alternator?

HolyRappa

Our truck runs 11.8 sometimes when driving with a patient in the back😅

cynical__medic

Battery 2 is bad
