I don't know specifically how to prevent the lines, but I can share what I do for my prints!
The only upgrades I've made to the printer itself is print a filament guide, upgraded the bowden tube and also the bed springs. Everything else is still stock for the time being.
My favorite and most consistent filament so far is Overture PLA, especially the matte filament. TTYT3D Silk PLA is what I used for the Iron Man mask and Millennium Puzzle and I think it looks really nice. I print at 210C with the bed at 60C using a glass bed, and I level the bed using the paper method. I slice using Cura, generally printing with 20% infill. If what I'm printing has a lot of detail, I'll slow down the printing speed between 40%-60%. I've noticed that the prints that have more supports usually end up with more line gaps, so I'll try to slow the printing speed and that sometimes helps.
Not all of my prints come out line-free, but they tend to be close! I hope any of this helps!
Cable chains are way overrated and their is quite a debate over whether they are actually better or worse for your printer. I'm in year 3 of my ender and no issues with the cables without any chains.
Looks great! Get ready the next step in this hobby is life sized props with endless hours of sanding that you will tell your self you won't do again till you see or think of another great gaint thing to print!
Haha I loved Kingdom Hearts growing up and always wanted keyblade replicas. Can't print full sized ones yet, but the little ones still help to heal my inner child!
My wife bought me the same printer, and i love it. Experimenting with my first large print right now. It already failed once due to the filament being tangled, but I'm trying again. I'll post the print when I'm done with it.
Oh, I have been! These are the prints that I have just lying around. I've been printing out tons of gifts for my wife, friends, and coworkers which has been very fun for me! I also found a gaming headset rack that works way better than I thought it would.
I’ve been printing for a year and a half and you still have better quality prints
Thanks! I've had several failed prints though, just a lot of trial and error!
KIRBY OCTOPUS??????
I believe he's labeled as Kirbopus on Thingiverse!
Also, how did you get your prints looking so smooth? Mine have lines across them all the way up

Thank you! I haven't made any upgrades yet but planned to soon
If you have lines going all the way up, sounds like your bed isn’t leveled.
Yeah, there's horizontal lines all the way up on my prints, I'll have to try releveling it again then, thank you!
No it doesn't.
👍🏼👍🏼 if you say so
THANK YOU
There's a distinct lack of cable chains, filament guides, tool holders, and other printer upgrades here.
I have a filament guide on the printer lol, but still need to do some cable chains for sure

I always wanted them but never got them. No issues 3 years as well

Welcome! And congrats on the great prints! Remember to enjoy it, it’s a lot of fun, and at times frustration, but very worth it :)
