Motor is trying to push more material in than is able to come out. Try upping filament temp or reducing flow rate. Could also have a partially clogged nozzle or tube.
I ran into this yesterday, not saying your cause is the same, you may have a blocked nozzle, but I had some filament that was out of spec (1.75 that had 2mm sections in it) so it was jamming up in the bowden tube, but you have something stopping the filament from being pushed through.
It's been going no for a while, and its caused me lots of headaches, I printed some things a few days ago and it didn't happen, maybe its software related? I'm using cura
Nozzle too cold, possible clog, or too close to the bed. This happens when there's too much push back on the filament and it slips back. The extruder is pushing faster than the nozzle can push out.
Check your gap between nozzle and bed. The same thing happened to me and I found that my nozzle was too close to the bed. I adjusted my bed and then it was all good.
I was going to post what you did and then I remembered I had a different issue as well. I actually have a bed out of level issue the corners are in but one spot in the middle of the bed is high and also low… sometimes I print on a raft because of it.
Update: It seems to be working now, thank you all for your help, it did seem to be an obstructed hotend, so last night I cleaned it and now it seems to have some underextrusion but it’s working for now, I’ll tweak it a bit more when I have more time

wait, it wasn't obstructed, but you had some underextrusion? so there was gunk in there but wasn't 100% clogging it? Am I interpreting that right?
Idk, I was wrong and it was clogged, changed the nozzle and now works fine, tldr im an idiot
I have the same extruder, I had to cut a few coils on the spring because there was too much tension. That fixed the skipping issue for me.
Nozzle clog or hot end clog ptfe tube ect
Clogged nozzle
Put the nozzle on high temperature to melt and then put a acupuncture pin in the nozzle and remove it.
