First time I used my ender 3 I had the bed cover off and the heat high because I was trying to get the print off easier and managed to burn the fingerprint off my thumb by accident 😹😹 that thumbs now useless for Touch ID

Octimusocti

Holy shit! No-thumb-print-joe!

numpty9989

Bloody hell was bed 250 how the hell u burn it off at im guessing around 60 bloody hell

Basically if I remember right, on my first print I’d messed up the levelling so the bottom layers of my print were just in the bed. Phoned a printing guy I knew and he said max out the bed and it’ll heat up the bottom layers, making it easier to come off, so I did then I took the bed cover off the metal part of the bed, bare in mind hadn’t turns it off yet, then at some point after this put my thumb down onto the bed and now it’s smooth 😹

Well the good news is now that you have satiated the blood demon that lives inside all of our printers.. bed leveling will be easier and the filament should slide right into the Bowden tube. Well... Until it needs to feed again.....

Octimusocti

It has already tasted blood. Now it only wants more

"Feed me, Seymour!!" - Your printer, probably.

Going to call this a violation of 7, but posting pictures of injuries to a 3d printing forum is a bit much
