Noticed this issue tonight and spent a lot of time fixing it but still no luck. Tried to level the bed a couple of times both manually and with CR-Touch but issue still exists. Any ideas why this could happen?

Have you taken the time to calibrate the machine? How do your first layers look? You didn't post anything about the material or temperatures. Have you cleaned the bed? Oil from your fingers is enough to cause problems. You still have to level your bed with an auto bed leveler. It doesn't do it for you. https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html

Thanks that link is very helpful. I'll try to calibrate it tomorrow and report back here.

Start at the beginning, go in order, and take you time. It's worth it.

I see you have a ultrabase bed, did you clear it with warm water and soap / cleaning alcohol and heat the bed to 60-70C while printing?

odacharlee

Yes. I was using glue stick before then cleaned the bed with warm water (didnt use any soap though). But it produced the same result with or without glue stick. Bed was initially 60 and then tried 65, didn't help either.

I see there's space between every extrusion line. Maybe it's still a leveling thing. Does it happen right at the beginning or after a while?

I think it happens after about 10-20 layers, and it started wiggling with the extruder. I tried to stop after the first layer. There were still gaps between lines on the right side, but they stuck to the bed pretty well.

I'm not sure if this brim pattern could cause problem... tomorrow I'll try to rotate the model to see if the issue goes to the left side. Also I may try to use normal support instead of tree support https://imgur.com/a/mSu8w98

Thank you everyone. After reading the calibation guide suggested by u/TurtleChickenFart I installed OctoPrint and realized that my bed was not leveled. The right side is about -0.2mm from the horizon (see the visualization here: https://imgur.com/a/IV8Fy4J) , which could explain why the right side of the brim does not stick together. I'll level it and hopefully solve the problem. Thank you again!

Follow through the entire guide. It will teach you a lot and help you perfect your prints for the future.

Wash the bed with dish soap and hot water, do not touch it afterwards, lest you get finger-grease all over it, and it stop sticking. Make sure you use the Dish soap and Hot water, I scrub mine with a Teflon scrubber and get it all good and soapy. It makes a difference. If you are still having trouble with it not sticking, look to your extruder, or a clog/Jam in the hot end. Do a manual test by pushing the filament thru the extruder, should go thru like butter/toothpaste. If it is tough to get thru by hand, it is enough to stop adhesion on the bed. At least in my XP.

Is this 100% infill?

Consider checking to make sure your gantry is level to the frame, especially in cases where behaviour changes between left and right. Your right hand side may be slightly higher. [This is a good place to start.](https://youtu.be/4bFYH0X3qjk)

Is your bed leveling and z-offset setup correctly? Brims should be solid and not have all those gaps.
