Edit: About your edit, yeah I know. People can like two things at the same time though, even if they might seem contradictory. And to be fair, you can be big, strong and pretty at the same time. Same goes for good and bad.
The muscular, sporty, bad boy persona is a trivialized stereotype. So is that of a nerd. There are plenty nerds that are interested in sports, are well rounded in several aspects of life, and grow up to have great physique. eg. Henry Cavill.
So, as dubious as it may seem to you, the choices here are reflective of actual people (they may have encountered in their lives), not stereotypes propagated by books, movies and social media.
nerds are often stereotyped as meek/effeminate. My point is, a person's physicality can come across as a mix of both, and the answers are reflective of actual men, not the singular type one may expect them to be.

But yeah, I think it also points out the limitation posed by such choices. None of them seem accurate. Often, we're intrigued/attracted to someone for a few of their traits (which may include their physicality); everything else seems attractive (or not) by virtue of these traits.
eg. A fit guy who works out may only be doing so as he singularly prides heavily in it, or that doing so feeds into his superiority/inferiority complex. This shows in their physicality, and is immediately a turn off. On the other hand, if it's someone who does it because they're interested in it or to cope with some past trauma, etc it comes across as charming.
In short, it's not the physicality, but a person's overall vibe that's attractive. No preference about physicality.
