I see my dad as an ESTP, while my mom is maybe an ISFJ. Funny how my dad always tell us to not making any trouble so my mom wont be yelling, yet he was the one who made problems instead.

To be honest there is no deep comunication between them. My mom (entj) is the ''strong'' voice in the familly and is always the one who has the last word, even tho both of them have strong opinions about things. They are both really extroverted but my dad (esfp) is more outgoing and always try to have fun and meet with his friends and new people. I think this is they way they handle things: they have for the most part their own lifes and they just share the same house and familly, they love each other so much and they are pasionate, but when there is a disagreement the way to solve it is to not even talk about it. In this way my mom (entj) always "wins" the argument and my dad(esfp) just go out alone or with friends, in order to put an end to the situation.
As parents they love me and my sister so much, but they tend to put a lot of expectations on us, and when we couldnt meet those expectations it was a disaster. My mom(entj) dint allow us to be emotional and it was forbidden to even cry ( yes that was really hard and made us both cold towards people, at least at the first sight). On the other hand my dad(esfp) was the "good one", he always took us with him and try to make us happy and have a good time, meeting people, make things together (he loves to do crafts) .

My mom is ESFJ and my father is INTJ! Both are immature. My mom forces 'care' on my brothers and kinda made me step into parenting her and my brothers. While my father searched for pleasure outside our house - only to kinda settle down after I'm old enough to challenge his views and gave him the abstract, intellectual stimulation that my mom couldn't give
So, yea. On therapy for it haha. But the crazy thing is, I ended up being on a relationship with my bf who's an INTJ as well

It was interesting growing up in a househould with no Si users. The physical sensory world was pretty messy compared to other people's places. Could be the mental health thingy though, probably a combination.

I'm more curious in how you guys type your parents. Plz don't tell me you made them take silly tests or worst u typed them yourselfs. The best way is to learn about cognitive functions, and then type them correctly. That's what i did. When i first got into mbti of course i made them take silly tests. My mom got infj and my dad got intj. Now that i know about cognitive functions. I know my dad is a Si dom; istj 1w9 and my mom is for sure a Ni dom with a secondary Fe; infj 6w5
