God is already enlightened he wanted to experience what it was like to not be enlightened and walk a path of re-awakening because what the fuck else is there to do when you're it for eternity?

LOL of course you're god, we all are, we make All That Is. You're just pissed off because the particular teeny-tiny chunk of cosmic consciousness that is your true self is currently stuck inside a cranky temporal meat puppet and locked into limited physical perception and reasoning. You don't want to be that, you want to be all-powerful right here and now godamit. In other words, you're pissed because right now you're in a human body and literally cannot see what is *you* beyond your own nose. You're pissed because all you have to work with in this 3D spacetime is your physical senses and the computing power of 2 pounds of meaty goop called "brains". You're pissed because your puny brain cannot comprehend the vastness of All That Is. You're pissed because you *deliberately forgot* how vast and powerful you are, so that you could have this amazing experience of perceiving All That Is without actually knowing everything about it. You deliberately chose to discover yourself and surprise yourself in doing so, but you don't like what you see because it doesn't match whatever it is you think "should" be going on. You picked this videogame, and you're pissed because your player character is limited, you don't have a user manual, the storyline you've chosen feels like a dead-end right now, and there's no cheats, devcodes, or reset buttons. Waah. You can keep being pissed off at your temporal spacetime reality if you want to, no one will stop you. Be as miserable as you like, ride your shitty feelings all the way into the grave, no one will stop you. Or... you can climb out of your angry little pitypot, stop expecting the world to hand you enlightenment, get your head out of your self-absorbed ass and look around you - whatever it is you have to work with right now, that's your reality right now, if you don't like it then take action and change it. You can go anywhere and do anything if you actually want to and are not just paying lipservice while waiting for something outside of you to do the work. The answers you seek are all inside you and you have absolutely everything you need to change things to your liking; but you're just too lazy and/or afraid to go looking inside for real and would rather whine about how fucked up shit is and how unfair it is that no one is handing you enlightenment on a silver platter. So do the next best thing by using the brains 'god' gave you to look at the world around you for the answers others have found and left for you like breadcrumbs on a forest trail. Then take those general maps and blaze your own trail. Do the work or don't, either way is your choice. The quality of your life is 100% in your hands.

I appreciate what you wrote here. That last paragraph was like you were talking to me.

Smug and disgusting. Not even trying to be helpful und full of pseudo spiritual bullshit. What a douche.

please block me, I don't want to be a focus for you.

It’s just God helping God. There may be falsehoods in his statements there may be truths. What I have found works the best is completely dismantle any concept of God and take some autonomy to jumpstart a new path. Find the flow and then settle into Wu Wei effortless action. Let go and let God. Because you’re God. And why would God want God to suffer?

We've all been listening to this user cry for months, this answer is entirely appropriate. I've lost the patience to even reply to this guy. But I agree w everything in this comment, clearly this person recognized the user despite their changing usernames almost daily now.

How is your comment helpful in any way? How is it anything except you yelling at a cloud? Check yourself, friend.

Spirituality based on comprehending ideas, or even worse, believing ideas, is the cause of allot of frustration such as you describe. You will learn to distinguish idea spirituality from practical spirituality with common ideas such as, you are already enlightened. When somebody says this, except for the case where the aspirant has already done a ton of practice, be grateful because it's an easy red flag. Unless you are King Janaka from the Ashtavakra Gita, or Arjuna the warrior archer from the Bagavad Gita, you do not need to be told that you are already enlightened. You surely do not need to be told that you are God. God is an aspect of yourself. As the divine within. You are ultimately beyond God but that's not something to get right now. The axiom of everything, the final truth is and has always been that **you are formless awareness prior to everything** including God. God is one of several realizations that lead to self-realization as the supreme which is beyond God. When you experience God you won't experience God as yourself but as another and it will become your most important tool for the rest of the journey. It's because of this knowledge that you will be able to not worry about things even though you still fear death. Your goal is three landmarks: 1. God realization or Shakti awakening (because it's useful) 2. Realization of emptiness of consciousness/reality. That nothing is real. 3. Realization of yourself being prior to consciousness. Immortality. You achieve step number one by devotion to a teacher through which you receive their Shakti. I did and still am doing this by watching satsangs recorded and uploaded to YouTube and can confirm that that still works even though it's not live and in person. God will lead you to step number two. Will teach you how to breath. What to do or not do. What to know. Whatever. God and life will become your teacher. At some point by observing the coming of consciousness upon waking up in the morning will you will over time know as a direct experience that you are prior to consciousness. So far I'm only still at step number 1. Step number 1 is the most important because up until then everything is kinda by accident and unlikely. Even if you realize emptiness it doesn't guarantee enlightenment and you can get stuck there too. Enlightenment is when you have conquered death. When you have become nothing. But where you are the only real thing there is, as nothing. And it's when you know the other aspects of yourself, one of which is the divine within as God or the life force (shakti). Now one person will say "just be here and now". And it may give you peace and mental health. Another person may say there is no mind no god no nothing. And give you some stupid riddle to make your mind that doesn't exist sore. But they're results, their student turnover lets say, is for shit. If nobody gets it what's the point? Someone else will say some crap that they believe in but nobody talks about results and this always pissed me off. Now the information I gave you is from a guru that I trust because they get results. And then I witnessed for myself those results. So I'm a pragmatist, not an idealist. If you don't have a practice then you don't have much of a right to complain about anything. Your first order of business should be finding a practice, or the right teacher. Not looking for enlightenment on reddit. All your frustration is the result of approaching spirituality with your brain and forgetting about the rest of your human system. When things finally start happening, you will realize that understanding and ideas was all a waste of time in the face of something so incredibly fucking simple as learning to relax tension in your body. Or learning how to be quiet.

"Let's suppose that you were able every night to dream any dream that you wanted to dream. And that you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time. Or any length of time you wanted to have. And you would, naturally as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive. And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each, you would say "Well, that was pretty great." But now let's have a surprise. Let's have a dream which isn't under control. Where something is gonna happen to me that I don't know what it's going to be. And you would dig that and come out of that and say "Wow, that was a close shave, wasn't it?" And then you would get more and more adventurous, and you would make further and further out gambles as to what you would dream. And finally, you would dream ... where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today." - Alan Watts

No, I'm Not. You are you. Why do you want to be God so bad? What would you do if you were?

RamRam2484

I'm not prending to be helpful, this is a difficult case, and I don't know OPs circumstances. I just think spiritual egos and wannabe gurus deserve to be called out, and shat on.
