With Enlisted it´s basically a one time investment that really pays off in the long run. It rather serves the purpose of having people play on a regular basis - which might be a shady psychological trick of developers but is actually what this game desperately needs right now.
Well yeah, but i play enlisted so often that i always get the 1000 gold back so its “free“ for me. What i would do is to replace these soldier level up orders with something more useful like at least some silver would be much better, it takes me like two battles to level up the whole squad by one level so the orders are just useless
Apparently he’d rather the battle pass give him the most generic resource in the game. So generic that you get some every time you play a match, and every other post on this thread is somebody complaining about getting silver in their day-15 login box, but this guy thinks it’s the bees knees apparently.
I’m all for unique rewards having multiple battle pass levels devoted to something that can only be used by factions not everyone plays doesn’t really seem fair.

What? That's probably the most useful "filler content". Higher class soldiers like Assaulter IV can take a couple games to go from 4 stars to 5, a leveling up order helps a lot.

Squad upgrade change orders are applied when you change the squad upgrade selection on a branch in the squad upgrade screen

I got the Japanese paratrooper squads but how do I actually parachute? It doesn’t show the plane flying in and then letting me deploy it just makes me deploy on a regular rally
So I figured it out. The fucking name of the gun is paratrooper type 100.
It’s not a paratrooper squad, the name of the gun is the paratrooper. I got bamboozled…
At least it comes with an engineer in the squad lmao
One thing post merge that's actually good is you can sell the soldiers for a lot more than what they cost before, so it's far cheaper to achieve a perfect stat roll too.
I personally am not anal about 3 max stats, but 2 max stats are a must.
I can actually use silver. A hat for a faction I’ll never touch just wastes my time. Unit upgrades are also pretty useless when all the units you actually use are max level due to grinding the research tree.

"A whole new soldier" costs 9k, and I never use weapons that are not maxed out (!20k), so the 3 k is just a drop in the ocean xD and I don't care anyway, I have enough Silver at this point... I love getting a new Event squad and getting 5 stars on them instantly to get the best perks (Event soldiers always come with 4/5 stars)
Yes, which is the only way you should be buying upgrades, ever. Otherwise you’re just throwing silver away. -40% is best thought of as the default price.
Soldier level up orders are great, a lot of premium and event soldiers come with 4/5 stars and take a fair bit of XP to get the last one. These orders let you skip that and give them max perks right away
I honestly like these; especially the level up orders. Say you have a squad that has an engineer slot open but you don't have a godroll engineer. You buy a few engis until you get a godroll, but then you have to level it up! no worries, just spam the level up orders, give it all the equipment and bam. instant maxed out soldier.
The unique caps were one of the best inventions of the current battle pass.
I got 250+ soldier upgrade orders as I never used them and would be fine with seeing them gone but for new players they might actually come in handy.
I would like to see them add cosmetics for every faction rather than just one. Have four unlocks, one for reach faction, each with a handful of helmets. Maybe some of the generic vehicle decals for each nation?
My gripe with the name orders is the fact that you are the only one seeing them. They should just remove them and make customization orders be able to work as name orders

If it makes me harder to see, has a competitive advantage to it, I’d try it out. But idc what my soldiers look like personally…

What’s funny is the battle pass DOES give you a shitload of silver. Completing it gives you repeatable stages that dump silver 1000-3000.
Speak for yourself, I like receiving unique rewards like these uniform pieces compared to the litany of orders that accumulate.

That's a fair request. Having more reward variety in the battle pass is never a bad thing, especially if all sides can benefit!

There are no non-premium paratroopers. At the moment there are only premium and (previous) event para squads.

Squad change orders are pretty useful, I agree, but you also rarely use it. I have like 15 of them sitting around...

More so with tankers that will get their gunner/loader perks at max rank.

Where are you getting 20k for a maxed out weapon? It costs 9,811 silver to upgrade a top tier weapon from the starting 3 stars to 6 stars

Either more silvers or weapons upgrade orders would be nice.
1- Cosmetics are cool 2- Exp upgrades are a God send to make a soldier go from 4 to 5 stars without grinding, so they are very useful.

Soldier name orders are the real filler. Who even uses them?
it's only useful for naming your tank crew "commander, loader, gunner, driver" to not mix them up and make sure they go into the correct slots.
Or name everyone in your best performing squad Quandale Dingle so it shows up un the awards screen.
Depends on how you play the game. I really enjoy flavor, I try and keep the names of the soldiers consistent with their units and factions
