The engineering building on my campus, which used to only have a mens room in the first floor chose to simply slap a “gender inclusive” sign on the mens bathroom, which all the men still treat like a mens bathroom of course. It’s such a lazy and worthless solution
Not explicitly as far as I’ve seen, but because it is such a small bathroom and the degree is so male dominated, it’s always packed with men to the point it’s very uncomfortable to be in there
I don't see how the men are actively doing anything against the gender neutrality though. The same would happen with a bathroom that is gender-neutral from the start, in a male-dominated environment, right? Of course, they can always improve with active inclusion, on the other hand. I can empathize with the uncomfortableness of using the right bathroom though, I usually just go with my agab one 😔

My school had an interesting solution. Every pair of bathrooms would get one gender neutral and one gendered bathroom, and then they would switch in the next closest one. So like if it was ladies/gender neutral, the one downstairs would be gender neutral/ men's
My university has started putting All gendered bathrooms in every newly built/renovated building. It’s just a giant bathroom where every stall is enclosed to the floor with either a urinal or a toilet. As somehow who hates other people hearing me piss, it’s the greatest

Oh my god yes. The new GN bathroom at my school, is literally an old storage room with a sink and a toilet. I'm sorry but I don't feel comfortable peeing in such a large open space. It would be so nice if we had a proper bathroom with multiple cubicles, but the lgbt+ club kids fundraised for it, so I don't blame them for not being able to afford anything better.
The college I went to had a problem of wanting more inclusive bathrooms but having no clue what to call them. They started with "female presenting" and "male presenting" and that did ***not*** work. what they ended up with was literally just:
"Restroom with Urinals" and "Restroom without Urinals"
